This apartment is really great. The decor is modern and functional. Location is close to the tram, shops, coffee shops, and restaurants. Major sights are just a few tram stops away. The host Izel is awesome. He arranged tranportation to and from the airport, laundry service, lent us cell phones, gave us safety tips, and was extremely responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Verry good. Excelent explaining the envirement. check in was very good. Izel took all the time to explain everything and then shown us the area. He wrote us a large mail with restaurant tips and attractions. apartment, lie near The Galata tower. Nice neighborhood with little restaurant and shops. Living room is a bit little for 4 persons

It was perfect.
Izel was very kind and very helpful. He sent us a very detailed recommendation about restaurants and cafes, public transport, turkish baths and sight seeing ideas. The apartment was better than I expected! The apartment is in a busy district, but it is in a quiet street just a street away from the pedestrian street, which is full of nice local shops. Galata tower is just on the corner, there are a lot of very good restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood. The apartment is quite big, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet and the design is modern but rustic. It is very clean and well equipped. I'm in love with Istanbul, and I'm sure if we come back I'll choose this apartment again as accommodation.

Absolutely great apartment
We visited Istanbul with our family (3 kids) and stayed for 5 days in the pretty new CasaLoBueno#3 apartment. The apartment is absolutely great: perfect location, the apartment is very very clean, it’s comfortable and everything you need is in the apartment. It’s also located in a quit street.
But also the service provided by Izel, the host, was tremendous. We used his airport service, which was perfect. He showed us around in the great (Galata Tower) neighbourhood, showed nice places and restaurants and he provided us with 2 public transport cards, city maps and a local cell phone in case we needed something. He also provide is with lots of interesting insights and places to eat and things to do in Istanbul. We can strongly recommend this apartment when you are visiting Istanbul!

Top location and excellent service
We stayed in this property for two weeks and enjoyed every minute. The flat has everything needed and is very clean, comfortable and well-kept. The renovation of the stairway was nearly completed and now makes the entrance very welcoming. However the best points are the top location (so many cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, tourist attractions etc can be reached on foot) and the excellent service provided by Izel, who is on hand to help with any questions/issues. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He organised the transferes to and from the airport, provided us with really useful tips on what to see and how to get around and showed us around the area when we arrived. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Renovated flat
We had a nice stay in this apartment. The location near Galata tower is excellent, lot of restaurants and shops nearby. The living room actually has some park views.
The apartment is in good shape overall, dont let the worn out stair case scare you.
The host of this apt. Called Izel is very helpful and informative. You even get a prepaid phone to call him any time.
There were some minus points here:
- both bed rooms are to the small street. Windows are well built but all the random shouting at night and hammering (they are fixing other buildings on the street) from street echoes to the bed rooms. The apt. And building Is quiet as such.
- yes there is air con on both bed rooms but the batteries in the remote control were dead.
Make sure they work in the summer, it was cool enough in May.
- yes there is internet and wifi, but the TV service / music was not streaming but hung up randomly.
These all are minor issues we could live with.
NOT apartment specific issue: ALL Electricity was down in whole Galata area including street lights etc. One evening. So take your flash light with you, to get back home. This power down has happened before recently in Istanbul.

It took some time for the building management to raise the funds, we have started the renovation and painting of the staircase just after you.
It's not going to be neglected anymore, will be cleaner and much better looking soon :)
I wish you'd have called me from the pre-paid phone I gave you about the battery issue for the air-conditioning remote, there was a fresh battery box in the kitchen board. (one remote was working, you could have also use the same remote for both machines in case of emergencies). Anyway, now no problems.
Finally, we have nothing to say but thank you for your tolerance about that random shouts at night. Normally our street is quiet being on the residential side, think this was an individual uncivilized manner.
There is very few we can do about the power cut, can only apologize on behalf of our City.

Very good flat in a convenient location and with a host/manager who goes the extra mile.
Casa LoBueno was a very comfortable apartment, beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished. The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen well equipped. The stairway leading up from the building entrance to the flat is in poor condition, but we were told that renovation is planned. We were especially grateful for the essentials like bottled spring water, tea and coffee which were provided. Izel was an outstanding host; although we arrived in the evening, he not only welcomed us at the flat but also took the time to walk up to the nearby Galata Tower with us and show us the local area. We really appreciated the tram card and mobile phone he provided, and also the very useful, clearly structured information on Istanbul that he emailed to us. He was always reachable, always ready to help (for example, supplying the special kind of pillow my wife needs).
Casa Lo Bueno is very conveniently situated: we enjoyed evening strolls up to Istiklal, which surpassed our expectations — an appealing mixture of luxury shops and vibrant street life, including some fabulous musicians. The short walk down from the apartment to the tram stop goes through a distinctly run-down neighbourhood, though its former opulence is apparent in the architecture, and some renovation is already under way.
In short, Casa LoBueno is a very good apartment, and one of the best features of staying there is Izel's tremendous, well thought out service package.

A prime place with real value for your money.
Location: very close to Galata tower. The prime area if you'd to stay in this historic zone of Istanbul.
Room: clean and tidy. we have 6 ppl so we need to manage well for 1 bathroom and two toilets.
Service: The host welcomed us quite warmly. He suggests where to visit and where to eats (we followed the list and we found some turned out very good). He even showed us around the area and gave a pre paid mobile phone to contact him anytime.
what to improve: plug is a bit loose. And the stairs smell not very good.

Clean, very well equipped, centrally located, perfect!

Schöne Altbauwohnung in lebhaftem Quartier
Die Wohnung hat eine vorzügliche Lage in einer ziemlich ruhigen Seitenstrasse des lebendigen, trendigen Stadtteils Beyoglu. Vom baufällig-charmanten Treppenhaus gelangt man in die moderne, sanft renovierte Wohnung mit schönen, alten Dielenböden. Uns gefielen die zwei grossen Schlafzimmer und das geräumige Duschbad. Küche und Wohnzimmer sind nüchtern und funktional. Leider lassen sich die französischen Fenster nur unter Krauftaufwand von vier Händen öffnen.
Nützlich waren die von Izel zur Verfügung gestellte ÖV-Karte, die an den Ticketautomaten mit cash aufgeladen werden kann. Wir bekamen von ihm auch Tipps betreffend Sightseeing und Restaurants. Bei der Ankunft und Abreise empfiehlt sich der angebotene Privattransfer.
