家内と13歳の子供と一緒に2017年12月24日~27日までこのホテルに宿泊しました。LegatiaはSouth Parking LotからHabad St.を100メートルほど歩いたところにあります。直ぐ近くのSouth Parking Lotまでタクシー来ることができます。Old City内のホテルは階段のある坂道を重い荷物を持って歩く必要があることが多いですが、LegatiaはOld City内にあるホテルとしては非常にアクセスしやすいからです。周辺は夜に歩いても治安に全く不安はありませんし、カフェやレストランなどの店も多く、非常に便利な場所でした。嘆きの壁(Western Wall)にも近いです。
Old City内にあるホテルですので部屋は大きくはありませんが、親子3名には十分な大きさで、しっかりと手入れされており、ベッドも非常に快適でした。小さなキッチンがあり、簡単な料理もできるので長期滞在にも向いていると思います。Old City内に宿泊する意味はないとのレビューなどを見ますが、私はエルサレムの雰囲気を満喫できるOld City内に泊まって本当に良かったと思います。お値段もOld City内のホテルとしては非常にお得感がありました。非常にお勧めのホテルです。
I stayed at Legatia from 24th to 27th December 2017, with my wife and 13-year-old son. It is located on Habad St., 100 meters from South Parking Lot which can be reached by taxi. Access to most hotels in the Old City involves walking up a steep slope with heavy baggage, but Legatia is very easily accessible. The area is safe, and there are no worries about security even while walking around at midnight. There are many stores, cafes and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient for visitors. It is also close to Western Wall. Although there was a review that said it does not make sense to stay inside Old City, I am really glad that we stayed in Old City where we could fully enjoy the atmosphere of Jerusalem.
The room that we stayed in was not very big, standard for Old City hotels, but it was large enough for 3 people. The room was well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. It was also equipped with a small kitchen for simple cooking, which, in my opinion, makes it suitable even for a long stay. The price was very reasonable for a hotel in Old City, where there are no cheap hotels to be found. This hotel is highly recommended.
