The apartment was clean and comfortable. Javier was always very responsive and Mario was extremely helpful and gracious on sight. As others have noted, it's an easy 15 minute walk to the Plaza del Armas (main square) and just a few blocks to a grocery store and main drag with stores and restaurants. However, the actual street and neighborhood the apartment is on is very commercial and industrial (i.e. car parts and repairs.). It is not residential with cafes or places to eat. The apartment was interior so it cut down on the noise, but many rooms did not have windows to the outside and others looked out over unattractive roofs and construction. We had hot water but it was hard to regulate and very light flow. So overall a good option for Cusco but not ideal in some ways.

Javier's apartment met and exceeded all of our expectations. The rooms are large, the showers had hot water, there was excellent wifi, the apartment was very clean and Javier was an incredible host. He helped us navigate Cusco with ease and provided a number of local recommendations. He and his family were incredibly friendly and helped us whenever we had any questions. His friend picked us up from the airport for $10 and also took us on a private tour through the sacred valley for a negotiated price. Worth the private trip when compared to other tours. I would recommend this apartment to anyone traveling with family, a significant other, or anyone looking to stay outside of the main plaza, although the apartment is only 5-10 minutes walking from Plaza de Las Armas.

We stayed here for 3 nights in June. The apartment is better than it looks in the photos . . . it is a large place! We had everything we needed and the place is very secure. The owner lives across the hall and is helpful and available if needed. The apt was very clean. There is a small convenience store right across the street and a big supermarket around the corner and a couple of blocks away. It was only about 6 blocks walking to the Plaza de Armas or a 4-sole ($1.21) taxi ride. Other renters mentioned it but we were surprised at how cold the apt was. We had plenty of blankets when we went to bed but when not, it was really cold. (The temperature was 46-72 outside according to the weatherman.) It was nice having a washing machine and the wi-fi worked great.

Four of us stayed in the apartment before and after hiking the Inca trail, and it was a great place to stay. Javier and his brother were amazing - always available, always helpful, and extremely nice. The location of the apartment is good; convenient to a few restaurants, the Cusco Market, and a short walk to the main drag where you can get to anything. The area felt safe and there was a market across the street which sold water, snacks, etc. The apartment itself had everything we needed.

The apartment is simple, but contained everything we needed. It was a 3 minute cab ride to the center of town, has a washing machine for clothes, and Javier was incredible helpful with suggestions or directions. The Wifi is what you should expect in this country, but was sufficient for a vacation.

El apartamento es excelente, con todo lo necesario y muy bien ubicado. Taxis al centro por 3 soles y andando 15 minutos. Javier te ayuda en todo lo que necesites. A mi me dio el mal de altura y me ayudaron a ir al medico etc. Estuvimos muy comodos en nuestra estancia en Cusco. Gracias Javier por todo.

As a large group of 5 we wanted to cook meals, hang out in a living room and also be within walking to the main square. This apartment had all of that and the price was right! Javier is a great "landlord" and was very helpful! Some pros- clean and up to date, washer, safe, wifi, kitchen with basic tools and cookware, two bathrooms, across from small market and 3 blocks from grocery store. some cons, noisy (street), low water pressure, furniture could have been more comfortable and more clothes lines would have been handly. Airport pick up was so nice!!!

I would highly recommend this apartment in Cusco! It is a nice walk to the Plaza de Armas, easy to walk anywhere, and on the same street as a large artisanal market. It is very new, clean, spacious, well equipped, and best of all the owner Javier is very helpful. Javier made himself available to answer any questions, recommend restaurants, and arranged a van to take us to the airport. We were a family of 6 and were very comfortable.

Nos encantó el Departamento y Javier (su dueño) un encanto de persona, dispuesto a ayudarnos, amable, muy pendiente de todo (nos fue a buscar al Aeropuerto en VAN!). El departamento es muy cómodo, limpio y con lo necesario para poder prepararnos un rico desayuno y poder salir a recorrer ! Está a solo 10 min. caminando del Centro de Cusco en un barrio tranquilo, de muchas vidrierías y donde puedes encontrar supermercados y tiendas para abastecerte a la vuelta de la esquina. Totalmente recomentable, lo pasamos increíble !!!!

Six of us stayed at the condo. It was very clean and everything was just as Javier had said. Mario his manager was there to help us with anything we needed, told us where the grocery store was and some great restaurants too! We wanted to hire a driver on the spur of the moment and Javier even delivered on this request! It was a great place to stay! 5star!
