We supply unlimited wireless internet connection, a phone line for local calls, a TV with more than 50 satellite programs and a Hi-Fi.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric devices (fridge, freezer, electric cook top, oven, microwave oven, washing machine, dishwasher), small appliances (coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, iron), as well as all the necessary utensils for cooking and serving. Fresh linen and a sufficient number of towels are the standard offer of the apartment. They will be replaced on demand. For longer stays we also offer cleaning of the apartment during your stay.We provide a whole range of additional services, such as transfer from/to the airport (surcharge 15 €), a travel cot, a pushchair etc.
We haven't set a booking minimum, but one-night stays can be booked only a week in advance.
The only exception to this applies for bookings which include New Years Eve, when the booking minimum is three nights and the price 100€/day.

I've stayed at this apartment several times, and every time I'm impressed by how wonderful it is. It's literally in the center of the city, with almost everything you could possibly want just steps away. But it's also extremely quiet, especially the bedroom, which is located in the back against a courtyard. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable. There's even an elevator if you don't feel like hauling luggage up one flight of stairs. It was quite warm when we first arrived this time, but the AC worked well. And then there's Maja, the host, who's delightful. She goes way out of her way to accommodate her guests' needs. In this case, our flight arrived in Zagreb very late at night, but she arranged transportation and sent clear instructions on getting in. Maja's a wonderful source of information about Zagreb in general, and simply makes guests feel welcome and valued. It doesn't get any better than this.

Best accommodation in Zagreb!
You will not find a better location or host in Zagreb. Located right next to the main square of Zagreb, it is just a few minutes walk from the Dolac market, the cathedral, shops, cafes and restaurants. Everything else is a comfortable walking distance away. We were blessed to be here over Christmas, enjoying all the decorations, food stalls, markets and the festive atmosphere. Maja, the host, was in communication with us the moment we booked, giving us updates and useful information along the way. She even provided our family with a Christmas gift, which was a lovely touch.
We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Zagreb's best place to stay!
I stayed here for a week in mid-October and absolutely loved Maja and her wonderful apartment in the heart of Zagreb. First, Maja is the perfect host. As a first-time visitor to Croatia, Maja gave me lots of personalized tips on restaurants, places to visit and the lively neighborhood around Main Square. The apartment has everything one needs to settle in for a week of exploring Zagreb. Since I was traveling for an entire month, it was a bonus to have a washing machine in the apartment and the ability to do laundry! The apartment, overlooking a trendy street with lots of bars and restaurants, is quiet (double-paned windows) and the comfortable bedroom is in the back away from any noise and light. The kitchen is well equipped but there were too many great places to eat so I never cooked. The apartment is in a wonderful old building with marble entry floors, an elevator, and is located a stone's throw from the Dolac Market, one of the best food markets in the world! In addition to the Dolac Market, every day there are outdoor stalls in the main square selling flowers, crafts, local wine and food. There's an ATM on the corner. This apartment has everything for a perfect stay! I can't wait to go back!

Maja's Main Square Apartment
A Zagreb Treasure
The apartment is well equipped, has everything you might need, and the location is superb.
When you open the wide double windows fronting Tkalciceva Street just off Jelacic Square, the din begins, polite public noise, and you bring Zagreb within, and then whether by day or evening, you are blessed in equal measure. For then, if it is early morning, you may hear the sounds of the Dolac, as market vendors set up their stalls for the day. Later you might hear the happy murmuring flow of people moving up and down the street.
Whatever the time of day you are in the very heart of Zagreb and you must have lived well to be here in this place. An underground stream, once a river, lies below Tkalciceva Street and a mere stones throw away there is a small street, Krvavi most, a street named after a bridge where pitched battles were fought between residents of Kaptol and Gradec, the ancient towns of Zagreb.
Maja's apartment is a touristic treasure that the hostess shares with the world as the best of hospitable Croatians have always done. And when you close the windows, you have your private world once again, an island of quiet and comfort within a pearl of accommodation. “Zivot je san,” one of the apartment posters reads. “Life is a dream,” and it surely is. Staying here, if only for a night, is like a sojourn in a Georgia O’Keefe painting, safe and simple and secure, within the enfolded petals of a dream.

Perfect Place to Stay in Zagreb
Lovely, secure apartment right on the main square and the kilometre long pedestrian walkway full of restaurants and shops. A large indoor/outdoor market is next door, for all your fresh grocery needs. Walk everyone you want to go sightseeing in the old town. The apartment is spacious and fully equipped with everything you need, with many thoughtful touches (for example, clean comfortable slippers). The apartment is surprisingly quiet, given its location. Occasionally in the night you will hear revellers coming “home” up the building stairs but the disturbance didn’t last, and cannot detract from all the advantages of this apartment. Maja is a wonderful host - helpful but not obtrusive, and readily available by text through what’s app. Highly recommended!

Perfect location and introduction to Zagreb!
We loved staying at Maya's apartment! It's perfectly situated and has everything to make it feel like home—umbrellas, slippers, beverages, cooking supplies, travel books, and excellent tips on how to enjoy the city. Also, Maya is the consummate host and couldn't have been more welcoming. We hope to return!

Perfect base for seeing Zagreb
Great location in the center of town with easy walking to bus, tram, and train. The market is just outside the door and all the historic sights are an easy walk. Despite the location, the apartment is quiet and peaceful. It is well-appointed with everything we needed for a fun and stress-free week. Definitely the perfect base to visit old Zagreb.

Perfect Main Square lodging!
This MainSquare apartment in the center of Zagreb is an absolutely perfect location. The apartment is charming and very well equipped. The windows look out on the historic Dolac market which comes alive well before 6 am. You might think the apartment would be noisy but it’s not at all. Zagreb is a lovely city, deserving of several days to properly get to know it. This location is also great as a home base to use to take day trips, not only in Croatia but also to Slovenia, but expect slight delays at border crossing due to traffic. The only downside of Zagreb during my visit was the brutal heat wave which defined my days! Maya is a lovely host and keeps the apartment neat as a pin. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment! I will go again and I hope to be able to stay here again.

Great apartment - great location
Perfect location in the old town on the main square. Had good view of markets behind the square and plenty of places to eat close by. Could walk to all the main sights.

Jelacic square is a starting point for all of the city's destinations. There you can see interesting events almost every day. During the day, the square often turns into a market place with stands offering Croatian products, from domestic food and drinks, to souvenirs and flowers.
Everything you might need is close to the Main Square apartment. Many stores, shopping centres, restaurants, bars, a tram station, a 24/7 taxi stand, pharmacy, several banks, exchange offices, a post office, a public garage and all the other services you may want to use, you can practically see from the windows of your living room. Everything is just few steps away.

By airplane: The Zagreb airport Pleso is 17 km away from the apartment. We'll be glad to arrange a pick up/drop off by an EkoTaxi driver for a very fair price. You can also chose a public transport; a shuttle bus to the main bus station (ticket price: 30 kn/pers) and then a tram number 6 (direction Jelacic square), ride 5 tram stops (ticket price: 15 kn/pers).
By train: The main train station is only about 1,5 km away. You can take an easy walk along Tomislavov trg, Strossmayerov trg and Zrinjevac. You can also take a tram number 6 (direction Jelacic square), ride 2 tram stops. You can also take a taxi.
By bus: The main bus station is about 3 km away. You can take a tram number 6 (direction Jelacic square), ride 5 tram stops and get off at the very main square or you can take a taxi.
By car: if you can let us know your exact arrival time, we'll wait for you in front of the building or at the entrance to the public garage where you'll park your car. There are several public garages near the apartment, the best price being 4 kn/hour at the Kaskade center garage and 80 kuna/24 hours at the Kaptol center garage.
