This apartment was so cool but our host, Žeki, put things over the top! He met us at the apartment at our exact arrival time and helped me park our car in the City parking lot about 100m away. He gave us some fantastic restaurant recommendations and it was clear that he was proud of his city. The apartment is a very easy 5 minute walk to the old city, but is also nice and quiet at the same time because cars are not allowed on the street. The apartment photos speak for themselves - I promise it's even more spectacular in real life. You will not be disappointed if you stay here for your Split visit!

Stunning apartment and amazing host!
The apartment was absolutely stunning, immaculately clean and genuinely looked like it had been newly-refurbished. The space was fabulous for two people, with a large, comfy sofa, quirky cave-style dining area, well-stocked kitchen and lovely bathroom. We were only five minutes walk from the main centre of Split, but in a very quiet residential area, so we were not disturbed by any noise at night. The apartment is very close to local shops, including a small supermarket, so there is always a plentiful supply of food if you want to self-cater.
Zeki was an amazing host and looked after us so well. It was great to meet such a friendly and welcoming person, who was extremely efficient and very attentive to our every need. We really appreciated all the extras, such as booking lifts to and from the airport, the delicious food left for us on our arrival late at night, fresh towels, the discount card, full T.V. and Wi-Fi package, etc. All-in-all, we had a very memorable stay indeed and we will definitely be recommending Apartment Volat and our superb host, Zeki, to all of our friends and family.

Fantastic apartment in central location
The apartment is in an excellent location just a few minutes walk to all amenities. It is a beautiful apartment and was very clean and comfortable. Zeljan was an excellent host and looked after us very well. We loved Split and the excursions we went on and had a fabulous holiday. Thank you Zeljan, we had a great time and hope to return one day soon.

Most unique apartment in perfect location.
This apartment was formally a wine cellar and it was just awesome.
The furnishings were modern and comfortable.
Tea was there to greet us with fresh orange juice and pastries.
She even lent me a phone to use during our stay.
The location was great with just a 5 minute walk to most restaurants.
I would stay there again.

Great apartment , great location , great host !
Stunning interior , we loved it here . Able to park outside , easy walk to harbour and old town . Split is a great place to visit and I would recommend this apartment .

Perfect Location
The apartment is located perfectly - close enough to the city centre (<10mins) and shops/bakeries (<5mins) yet far enough out that it is quiet and we could even find a parking space. The owner is a great host, greeting us on arrival, checking in by email part way through, leaving us a phone for us to contact him (not needed!) and even coming to meet us when we inadvertently took a phone charger. The apartment is impeccably decorated and looks just like the photos. For a family of four adults we needed to time the showers a little as the tank is on the small side but this was not really an issue. Highly recommend if you want somewhere close to the centre, but not to be disturbed by church bells.

Excellent apartment in convenient location.
The apartment was excellent, it was clean, comfortable and in a great location. The owner was extremely helpful and prompt in responding to messages, he made us feel very welcome.

Great Place
We stayed here for 5 nights, and loved the place. Although on the ground floor, the apartment seems to be a converted cellar or vault. It certainly gives the place a lot of character and keeps it cool without using the aircon. The kids loved the place too and referred to it as 'The Cave'. Quite often during the searing heat of the day they were eager to get back to The Cave!! Anyway, it was very clean, very modern, and extremely comfortable. And Zeljan was a wonderful host who thoughtfully brought us a gift on departure. Highly recommended.

Wonderful apartment
This is a fantastic little apartment in Split with everything you need. The apartment is clean, modern, full of character, quiet location, near to the old town and harbour front (approx.2 min walk and 10 min walk to the main ferry terminals) and local amenities.
My husband and I stayed here for a week in June with temperatures of 36C, so this apartment was a lovely and cool place to return to at the end of a hot day!
The owner Zeljan was incredibly friendly and helpful, collecting and dropping us off at the airport. When we arrived he even prepared a small snack of local produce for us!
Split itself and all the nearby islands are amazing, full of history and wonder.

Great romantic get away - near the old town
great location - very well laid out and our host was outstanding.
we received a beverage and fresh strawberries and cream upon arrival.
He provided us with a local phone with key contacts should we need to reach out locally and of course to stay connected with him. He had great recommendations for local restaurants that were both in expensive and great local food.
he helped us find parking arrangements- top rate service!
