Lovely welcome from Ketut and Komang the house keepers and great cooks , lovely rooms with pool And rice paddy views, loved the outdoor bathtub, large pool, the detail of copper batik stamps wall in the billiard room and the original joglo living room Definitely one of the best villas I have tried in bali . Oh and there even is a sports room for those who need .

This house is just amazing: nice people / nice food / amazing rooms - the right place to rest and see the best of ubud ! I highly recommend it :)

Nous recherchions une adresse confidentielle pour profiter du charme d'Ubud en famille (mes beaux-parents, mon épouse et notre fils) et nous avons pu profiter d'une semaine de rêve en famille à la Villa Lumia. Idéalement située dans Ubud, nous étions véritablement en contact avec la nature (entourés de rizières, d'une rivière et d'une magnifique forêt). Profiter de la piscine avec mon petit garçon, manger en famille sur la superbe terrasse de la villa, prendre le petit-déjeuner dans un calme absolu, prendre un bain le soir dans le jardin, profiter du jaccuzi, de la salle de sport et du billard, et tant d'autres choses, ce séjour nous a permis de véritablement faire un break et de nous ressourcer dans un lieu paradisiaque. Une mention spéciale à notre hôte Ketut,dont la cuisine et la gentillesse ont également contribué à rendre cette expérience inoubliable.

Spent a week there for my first trip to Bali. What a blast! This little paradise is just amazing surrounded by the beautiful wild nature. Enjoying the jacuzzi facing the jungle was part of my daily routine morning and evening. Ketut and Komang (the staff) were amazing with us, always her to make our stay just perfect and always happy to give us good recommandations around. Komang even give me a local cook initiation class and that was really fun. The villa is gorgeous, WiFi all around, even a pool table! We won’t forget our stay there and we hope to have the chance to be back there again.

It is the best place to stay in Bali. They have everything, but what make it so special are of course people. You can not imagine better service then at Villa Lumia. And food....you will never forget that taste and hospitality.

Was blown away from the get-go. Place is bigger than you think and sooooo beautiful. Ketut is a great host and along with his great wife they made our family stay perfect. Food is excellent and they also provide all receipts for groceries etc Location is super peaceful, just remember to grab snacks as shops are out of walking distance. We had a group of 9 and there was plenty of room for group chills and also private time. Will definitely stay here again !!

This was truly an amazing place to spend some time with friends. The outside bathrooms (and bathtubs) were beautiful, you could swim real laps in the swimmingpool, the open living room was amazing and so was the service. What more to say :)

After much research we (group of 6 ladies) chose to stay at Villa Lumia for the start of our Bali holiday - WOW! From the start of being picked up at the airport in 2 cars (one for us and one for the luggage) by the lovely Ketut (Villa Manager) and our request to stop off on the way for some supplies and money exchange - nothing was a problem! The Villa itself is even better than the pictures are, the location although a little out of town centre is lovely with the outlook from the pool to the rice field rather than having a large fence around you. The beds were so large we could share without knowing there was another person beside you. There are actually six beds but the ones up in the loft area do feel a little less luxe compared to the lower level so we just decided to share for the few nights we stayed. Komang's cooking was beautiful and breakfast each day was different. Her evening meals were delicious and you are able to choose what you'd like. We selected two main items and sides and there was plenty for everyone as they make it for the amount of people staying. We went out to Bridges Restaurant one night and Ketut drove us there and also picked us up later - all part of the wonderful service. Ketut also dropped us up to Ubud Centre for a look around and lunch at Cafe Wayan and returned to pick us up a few hours later. He is also available for day tours which we did up to the Hot Springs. To get into the swing of relaxing and being pampered we had 6 massage therapists come to the villa each morning at 9am for an hour so we could start the day in the right frame of mind. To finish the day a few drinks around the pool, music playing and dinner at the beautiful table setting was perfect. We moved to Legian (via quadbiking) after three glorious nights at the Villa and there were even tears from Komang - such a beautiful gentle lady. WE ALL LOVED IT AND WILL RETURN!
