Unfortunately our stay wasn't as expected. I was following the owners IG profile and contacted him DM, blindly trusting without checking other sites and sources. So the initial price was 50jod(63€) per person(!) for sleeping in a camp and a 2h jeep ride which we said we didn't need -just a place to stay and we asked to make the best price for us. The offer was 45jod(57€) for one night which we agreed. If you see here below the price is 17$(15€), that is 12 jod.
What we got in these 60EUR for one night(same in Aqaba in a decent 4*hotel with all facilities) was a stop at the supermarket to get our dinner. The tent was ok(can't lock from inside). No warm water, unless you're used to a cold water in a chilly weather, that meant no shower for us. The toilet and a shower is in one place so men and women use it together(count that the toilets aren't fully closed &you can see who's inside from down), of course no flush.
The dinner was a rice +chicken,and later was added also a salad. No buffet. For dessert we were offered by unpacked sweets still in the plastic from the supermarket. All you can drink tea. For the breakfast we have been called twice while we were still sleeping so we had to wake up. The breakfast was hummus, greasy omelette, bread, boiled eggs and jam. At the breakfast socializing with other 3guests who kindly offered to give a ride to Aqaba where all of us were heading later, we were blocked by the owner as prohibiting to go with them.
Conclusion. We have been treated for a service and a place for 3$ (these offers we didn't even consider) paying 60€. So be aware.

Majed is the best!
Had an amazing time in beautiful Wadi Rum. Majed knows his desert inside out and will make sure you have a great time. Contrary to what you may expect, his prices are low but service is not compromised. He is super funny, carefree and will sing/dance and entertain you. And the food at the camp is sumptuous.

Perfect day in the desert!
Majed was the best, most accommodating, tour guide ever! His cousin took us out for a full day tour that was great but the accommodation was even greater! The Bedouin tent was new and homely where we all shared a great traditional meal together. The room itself was so clean it looked new, plush beds and nice comforters, and a great serene sleep in the desert! Included was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had in Jordan. Highly recommended!

Hospitality at its best
See all of wadi rum with a friendly knowledgable Bedouin guide! Majed is a true local Bedouin, he invites you into his home to discuss you trip plans over tea, no negotiation is needed as all his prices for the tours is very fair. Our visit to wadi rum was amazing and it was all thanks to majed!

Dance in the Dunes of the Desert with Magic Majed
We stayed for two nights with magic Majed in the beautiful Wadi Rum desert. It's an incredible place and Majed and his cousin Salem are great hosts. We could leave our bicycles at his house in the village and stayed in Bedouin tents in the camp in the middle of the desert. We had amazing food and a really fun keep your. They are very good people and I hope to be back soon or host them at my place.

Magical Majed
I've been to Majed's twice already and certainly plan on returning again soon. Majed's name means magic and that's the experience he provides in an equally captivating landscape. You will feel instantly at home and at ease in the relaxing and welcoming environment. The camp has a beautiful simplicity but with all the amenities you need. The food is exquisite, the bedouins take real care and pride in providing a hospitable experience, and if you need anything or have any special request all you have to do is ask. I really cannot recommend this experience highly enough!

Τι να πρωτογραψω για αυτον τον ανθρωπο και την μερα που περασαμε μαζι του. Καταρχην σε κερδιζει με την 1η ματια. Παραδοσιακο παιδι με ευγένεια στην ομιλια και μια γαληνη στη σκεψη και σε ολα του (εκτος απο την οδηγηση χεχεχε). Εκει τα δινει ολα δε κολωνει. Το camp του ειναι σε ωραιο σημειο και το πρωι που ξυπνας ο ηλιος δε σε ενοχλει. Τα δωματιακια ειναι τοσο οσο πρεπει και οι κουβερτες οσο κι αν δε το πιστευεις το βραδυ οσο κρυο και να κανει σε κρατανε ζεστο. Το φαγητο πρωινο και βραδυνο ειναι οτι πρεπει για να σε κρατησει και σε μεγαλες ποσοτητες. Τα μπανια του ολοκαθαρα και γενικα τα παντα ειναι περιποιημενα. Τωρα οσο αφορα το tour με τον Majed αν μπορουσα να βαλω 10 αστερια θα τα εβαζα. Ο ανθρωπος ξερει πως να κανει τους αλλους να περνανε καλα. Μεσα σε 4 ωρες βλεπεις ολο το wadi rum με το τζιπ και μετα μπορεις να κανεις και μια βολτιτσα με τις καμηλες ετσι για την εμπειρια. Ειναι συνεχεια μαζι σου και προσπαθει με τα αγγλικα που μονος του έμαθε να σου δειξει οχι μονο την ερημο αλλα και το τροπου που ζουν αυτοι οι ανθρωποι. Η παρεα μου αναμφισβητητα εκανε εναν φιλο στην ερημο και αυτος ειναι ο Majed. Αν δεν θελεται απλα μια βολτα στην ερημο αλλα μια εμπειρια βρειτε τον Majed...

Excellent tour guide
Majed is very knowledgeable and kind. He offers affordable Jeep and camel tours. He will customize your tour. His camp is beautiful. I highly recommend booking Majed’s camp.

very nice host!
Majed, his cousin Saleem and Ahmed have been excellent guides in this Wadi Rum's experience. Very concerned about not missing the sunset in the desert! Very helpfull for everything and they help us to come in the desert by car. They cooked us a good dishes and very good tea! For sure, we recomand these people to enjoy the silence and the beauty of the desert.
