Excellent place with exceptional service
A wonderful place to stay in Darjeeling. Me and my wife stayed here for about four days and received exceptional services. Sudarshan was extremely helpful. Helped us to move around and provided wonderful food as per our requirements. Thanks Sudarshan!

Home away from home
It's the best place to feel home away from home.very clean and cozy rooms.Mr Sudarshan and his team are a great host Aladdin Chirag, make a wish and it's fulfilled.they take maximum care to make you feel comfortable.the home made food and room service is awesome.we really enjoyed the Darjeeling tea sitting in a lobby with a picturesque view. The rooms have bed heaters,very clean bedlines and towels,hot water flasks,tooth brush,tooth paste,soap, shampoo,slippers, what more you want...more than all this the biggest thing is the warmth of the staff.... would definitely love to come back and stay here... wishing Mr Sudarshan all the best...may he keep up the good work...

Worst home stay
Darjeeling heights home stay where I stayed in april is the worst home stay. Never stay here. This is not a home stay but a very poor hotel with fake photos and poor service. No service .No privacy. Room rate rdouble compared to other hotel in darjeeling. Located in an isolated place . Very difficult to move around. Kindly avoid this place

Just like home
This was the second time I stayed at Darjeeling Heights, this time was a short stay 3 days and last time I stayed for entire month. It was just coming home 🏡 the host (sudershan) and his family could not be sweeter more genuine people. The room was great for the price and the food was exceptional. The location is north of the hustle and bustle of Darjeeling and very accessible with a little foot power. If you are looking for 5 star luxury you probably shouldn’t come to Darjeeling but if you are looking for a cozy, safe and friendly place you should definitely stay at Darjeeling Heights

Wonderful experience!
We loved our stay at Darjeeling Heights! There were 12 of us, so we rented the whole place and it was such a sweet time. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable, the view is amazing and the hosts are very kind, thoughtful and attentive. The breakfast and tea every morning before exploring the town was a treat! I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Superb quiet and peaceful
This place is a wonderful homestay in Darjeeling,away from the din and hustle of everyday life. The hosts sudarshan and his family are lovely. Above all the food is delicious. The views of Darjeeling are fantastic from the shared lounge area..you would be made to feel warm and homely. Looking forward to another trip here with my family soon

Lovely people
I was invited by my friend to spend some time in Darjeelin, she was already staying in this place and I was glad of her choice of accommodation, the stunning views from there made my day every morning. The room was spacious and although ours was the only one with the toilet outside the room, it was still a private one and it was not a problem at all. Best of all was Sudershan, the owner, he was very attentive and approachable. I'm glad to have met him and count him as a friend nowadays.

Great Homestay with Very Kind Family
I had a wonderful six week stay in Darjeeling. The family made me feel at home. I would highly recommended to any travelers looking for an extended stay.

Darjeeling Heights
Never traveling to Asia before, I didn't know what to expect. What I found was a lovely place to stay with great people. The accommodations are simple, but give you everything you need - it's India!
TIPS/TRICKS:
- Bring a towel and flip flops for bathroom
- Bring a book, wifi is overrated anyway. There's a great bookshop in Chowrasta center with tons of choices.
- Have Sudarshan take you or point you to the crepe restaurant and The Patio - best momos in town
- Visit the Happy Valley Cafe to see Kosum for a one of a kind tea lesson.
- Buy a glass bottle and loose tea to have at home while you write in your journal about the day, or watch a movie in the newly renovated shared living room.
- Bring your instruments!
- If you need to spend some time working, the 'best' wifi head to Himalyan Java Cafe in town. You'll pay more for the drink but get the wifi and a nice spot to hang.

Awesome stay at a cozy place
Our visit was very pleasant, we stayed 1 month. Darjeeling heights is the perfect mix of privacy & community with great common areas. Its kept clean & verg modern. The family & Sudarshan are lovely people, can't wait to come visit agIn!
