I loved it last year.it is a wonderful place and so easily accessible to many restaurants and beaches. I highly recommend it. The owners ,although live upstairs are very quiet and non intrusive.i often wondered if they actually lived there.they were very helpful with anything I needed. .

My husband and I stayed in the Manuel Antonio area for a week and this location works well between Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park. It sits up a hill so you do need to be somewhat fit if you are walking and taking the bus, but we really enjoyed the quiet location to sit each evening by the pool. The mornings are beautiful with hummingbirds, macaws, and butterflies to enjoy over coffee by the pool. If you plan on using the golf cart, be very sure before you go that it is available. We had requested it before leaving home and were disappointed to find it was unavailable after we got there. Things worked out as we got a very good deal on a rental car for a few days. Barry has very good local information and can get good discounts on some of the tours.

We stayed at Barry and Annie's rental for a week. The location is wonderful and very convenient to Manuel Antonio. The unit is clean and spacious. Having a private pool is a bonus at such a low price. There was comfortable seating in the apartment and a washer and dryer! We used the kitchen frequently, and wished that it had been better equipped. That would have been our only complaint. We were visited by both squirrel monkeys and the white-faced ones. Howlers could be heard in the distance. The iguana was a regular. We were also fortunate enough to see two toucans on the property and a group of giant red macaws down the street. It's a great spot for wildlife.

Owners are incredibly helpful on top of what they already offer. The villa was very nice and spacious with all the amenities you could need and then some. Owners offered their advice on the area and the best way to do things locally. Wonderful experience.

We stayed in Villa Vista Verde for the month of January and loved the location and the amenities that were offered. Barry and Annie (home owners) go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable and keep you informed of everything that is offered in the area. The one bedroom, bath and family room was more than comfortable for the two of us. The Kitchen was sufficient for simple cooking and the laundry room was excellent for staying on top of laundry. The pool was an added plus to the location. There are a couple of large iguana's that hang by the pool. The house is located between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Quepos has no beach and Manuel Antonio is about three miles by bus or car. The road is way to hilly, curvy and dangerous to walk. Though some people do at their own risk. If you stay long enough you will see the Capuchin Monkeys as they cycle through the area. If you're looking for something peaceful and out of the way quiet, then check this rental out. We didn't rent a car and managed quite well with buses for 310 colons (.58 cents) or taxis for 2 MIL which is about $3.73 dollars. It was about a 10 minute walk down a gravel road to the main road for the buss. The property is well secured and monitored. We stayed a month and had a great experience. We met lots of super nice people from the US & Canada and even made friends with the local Ticos. Thank you Barry & Anna for your generosity and sharing your knowledge of the Costa Rican Life.

This was a perfect way for our family of four to visit Manuel Antonio. The apartment is very comfortable -- large living area, with a futon bed off to one side, nice kitchen (and a grill on the patio, which we used to make burgers one night), separate bedroom with queen-size bed. There is a TV with cable and wi-fi access, and your own private pool right outside your door. The setting is beautiful, and we enjoyed seeing wildlife right on the property -- iguanas, monkeys, and parrots. It is a short walk down the road to a bus stop, where we caught the bus to Manuel Antonio National Park and to the public beach. The owner, Barry, is extremely helpful and gracious -- really seems like he would do just about anything to make sure people have a good time. The only slight downside is not being right on the beach and having the short walk and bus trip to get where we were going, but the comfort of the place and the incredible value more than make up for that.

The owner Barry is very friendly and will help you with all the information you need prior to arriving in Costa Rica. Listen to him, every one of his advice helped us every bit during our stay in Cost Rica. He advised us to leave early to go to the airport. It was the most useful advice ever. As we got lost in our commute from MA to San Jose. But because, we started early, we reached there on time. He is very attentive and will look after the visitors like his guests.

My wife and 3 kids stayed here right before Thanksgiving for 5 days. We truly enjoyed our stay at this Villa. Waking up every morning with a beautiful view outside and being surrounded by nature was breath taking. There was a few iguanas that we saw in the mornings hanging out by the pool. The pictures of the house are accurate. It saved us money having a full kitchen and very convenient having a washer and dryer. The pool was a big plus!! We used it almost every day we were there. Barry (the owner) was very pleasant. He made sure that we made it to the house even though we arrived at 4:30am. He was helpful in guiding us on fun family activities. He also gave us great advice that saved us money when we went to Manuel Antonio National Park. Manuel Antonio is less then a 10 minute drive and so is Quepos town.
