WOW, Wow, Wow! We stayed here for 3 glorious nights and loved each and every moment in this incredible apartment. Tina and Wayne’s attention to detail from the time I made the reservation until we left was astonishing and I thank them for their faultless customer care. The apartment was incredible- beautifully decorated, supplied with everything you could possibly want/need, and the views are breath-taking. Incredible, amazing, magnificent apartment – thank you! We’ll definitely be returning to stay in this paradise.

Home away from home
A perfect get away for our girls weekend. It's perfectly situated, we literally parked our car and forgot we had it because everything is within walking distance. The ocean views from the bedrooms are absolutely gorgeous. The apartment is beautifully furnished and comfortable, it truly felt like a home away from home.

Very stylish centrally located apartment
Would thoroughly recommend the apartment - the decor is lovely and everything has been thought of. 2 big bedrooms and 2 good sized bathrooms. And a well laid out kitchen, seating and dinning area. The views are fantastic from the patio and there are shops just below in the mall, so very convenient location. Parking is secure so well set up for a great visit. We were made very welcome and will be telling all our friends of the place.

Great place to stay
I heartily recommend this accomodation. Very warm welcome of the staff at our arrival. Everything in the apartment is lovely and also very well furnished. Wery well equipped kitchen. The view of the ocean is very nice and it's very close to restaurants, supermakets ans shops. Great experience.

The best of both worlds
We stayed here for 5 days for a conference that was being held at both the Oyster Box and the Coastlands Hotel up the road - so I spent time in those hotels too. The Lighthouse Mall was the best because of the flexibility of having much more room than at either of the hotels. There is a Pick n Pay downstairs and even better a coffee shop / bakery that outshines Starbucks that opens at 6 am (for coffee) with the nicest staff you could meet.
Downsides to be aware of, but not to put anyone off - this is in the heart of the Village so can be a little flamboyant on Friday and Saturday and the lifts were very slow ... but if that's all I have to complain about there is not much wrong! Simply put, this is a great place to stay.

Lighthouse Mall has it All
Beautiful location for a family looking to stay by the beach and near all amenities. Wayne was a great host, when our washing machine broke he was there to fix it in less than 30 min.
P.S. Precious needs more training I had to politely ask her to vacuum the carpet and mop the floors after the neglected to do so in three days.
Overall it was a great experience and I definitely return!!

If you arelooking for a special place, self catering in the Umhlanga area do not look further than this property. We are a couple in our 50's and like most people we like things to be easy whilst on holiday and this lovely apartment really did tick all the boxes for us. Right from the booking months back to the day we left after 7 days the service was first class. Tina and Wayne will look after you very well but not only that but the apartment is serviced daily other than Sunday's and thanks to Precious not one issue for our stay so thanks for that. As would be expected for an apartment like this, everything worked just as it should. The location is perfect for a stress free holiday with shops, bars and restaurants right at your door. Not that we were concerned about security, the apartment always felt safe as you needed a key fob for the elevator, another for the door to the apartment level and a ky for the front door. If you do have a car as we did then the underground carpark is extra easy to get in and out of. We didn't use the balcony very often but I would imaginge you may have to watch if you have very young kids but that goes for all apartments with a balcony I suppose. Most people say they would come back to a place but most times don't. We would definately come back to this apartment if we are to stay in the area.

Some guests don't even hire a car as you are right on top of the 'Village' with everything you need down on the ground floor. Good central location
Well equipped, nicely furnished and centrally located apartment. Had washing machine and tumble dryer which proved useful. Also managed to watch the Six Nations rugby on TV which was a bonus.

Wonderful holiday accommodation like 'home from home'
We had a wonderful stay at the Lighthouse Mall. It really is a wonderful little haven home from home with all that you need for that extra comfort. The best location in the place for access t the beach just a 5 or 10 min stole down the hill each day and back.
Tina & Wayne are always about or contactable if needed and on hand to help if requested. A huge thanks to them both for all that they offer and do for their holiday clients to make your stay that bit extra special. Thank you Tina & Wayne... x
