Friendly helpful Hosts - Helen and Alf. The cottage is so well thought out, and there are many little touches that didn’t go unnoticed - fully lined curtains - a fan and aircon, braai wood and firelighters provided - and a decent bar of soap! Yay! Rusks and proper coffee. Decent size wine glasses - all things we judge an overnight stay by.... fabulous sitting in the bush enjoying the bird sounds and watching as the genet trotted past. Will definitely book again.

Babushka is a special place and what a priviledge with so many wild animals to view on your doorstep. House is located very quietly/private and right in the Bush. Everything we needed was provided and it was just more than we expected. The owners Helen and Alfred are excellent hosts and were more than helpful and provided us with lot's of information and made use feel very welcome. We stayed 2 days and both nights Helen took care of us and we had a braai together and the other day a perfect cooked chicken curry with salad and an amazing desert. We did the gamedrive with Alf and even we do gamedrives ourself, the gamedrive we did with Alf was the best. We saw so many animals that we did not saw before. It was a full day complete with breakfast and lunch in the Kruger. There were no people or cars intruding on us, which was great, and we felt at one with the bush. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants the "Out of Africa" experience. Thank you we will certainly be back!

If you want to go in this area in South Africa, we can only say: You have to choose the baBushka Cottage! Helen&Alfred are wonderful dear hosts ! It's amazing here! We loved it a lot. The house has a lovely inventory with special beautiful details. To sit on the terrace and to hear the noices from the animals in the bush gives you a real african feeling. One day we spent with Alfred in the Kruger National Park. He knows every Loop there and found for us the Big5 ! Was a fantastic day together! Thank you for this special experience!
