We spent just one night at this lovely establishment tucked away in the Guernsy Private Game Reserve. The minute we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Annie and her team. What a treat it was! It's like coming home but just to the peace and quiet of the African bush with the best hospitality. The main area is so inviting with its expansive deck, private pool and lounge/bar. You can just unwind and chill. Our plush room was a short stroll away with its outside shower and comfy interior. Meals are thougfully planned and delious to eat. The lodge is in the perfect base from which to visit the Panorama route, Kruger Park and do day activities. We highly recommend spending a couple of nights here!!

Everything"s right. The owner and the staff are very friendly. The lodge is in the bush and you see a lot of animals and it is a very nice stay.

On 22 and 23/08 we stayed in Kingfisher Creek ! What a beautiful experience ! Hard to find... in the middle of the bush, but a real pleasure to discover on such a place a beautiful design “holiday”-house . We had a very warm welcome from Annie, “the lady of the house” and Pindy, the caretaker like the word says, took really good care of us and our guesthouse. We can surely recommend also the breakfast made by the new “chef-kook”. Two times we ate something different, everything fresh with very good taste... the best we had during our stay in South Africa. Really a must-do if you are in the neighbourhood !

Fantastisch mooie en comfortabele woning. Mooie huiskamer met ruime keuken en eetbar, 2 mooie slaapkamers en mooie badkamers met heerlijk warme regendouche. Heerlijk ruim 2 persoonsbed, beste bed wat ik in Zuid Afrika heb gehad. Buiten zitten is mooi. Eigenaren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze hadden voor ons een heerlijke braai verzorgd! Toen we thuis kwamen van een sunset gamedrive was het kampvuur aan de tafel gedekt en het vlees lag al op de braai. Wat een fantastisch terugkomen was dat. Jammer dat we er maar twee nachtjes waren. En er was ook nog eens wifi

Stayed at Kingfisher Creek for 5 nights recently. What an amazing experience! Within 10 minutes of arrival met the first of many amazing creatures, my favourite animal - a Giraffe!! This was to be the start of an experience of a lifetime observing so many different types of wildlife, such as Buffalo, Elephants and Rhino - BEFORE we even left Kingfisher Creek to visit the nearby Kruger National Park. Kruger with its abundance of wildlife is a must visit while staying so close by. Other nearby experiences that will stay with you forever include, a visit to Jessica The Hippo, Walk with Lions and visit to a Sanctuary for Wounded Animals. Special mention to Annie and Jono who made us feel so welcome and were so friendly right throughout our stay, meaning we not only went home with wonderful memories of such a beautiful part of the world, but made some new friends. Top off your evenings with a nice cold beer and a tasty South African BBQ (Braai), while sitting around the fire listening out for the Lions purring somewhere not too far away! Already planning our next visit to Kingifsher Creek and would higly recommend for people of all ages - My Girlfirnd and i are both 35.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Kingfisher Creek during our visit to the Kruger Park. It was such a beautiful little place and exactly what you envision your wildlife experience to be like. The apartment was extremely clean and gorgeously decorated, there was a large living area, great kitchen with all your normal appliances and the most comfortable bed in the world! The bathroom had a big a shower, a lovely bath and plenty of towels & toiletries. Upon arrival, our hosts had a log fire burning for us outside and some ice cold beers. We just spent the evening listening to all the surrounding wildlife and enjoying the experience- it was magical! When we left early in the morning, there were giraffe waiting for us just outside the gates! We were overjoyed! I recently spent the night at Kingfisher Creek in Hoedspruit. Comfortable stylish accommodation and the friendliest hosts where nothing is too much trouble. We were also treated to Zebra and Impala wondering around on the other side of the fence. Would highly recommend a stay!

We only managed to spend 1 night at Kingfisher Creek but it was fantastically memorable and I wish we could have spent many more. After some exciting twists and turns through the beautiful Guernsey reservation, we came upon the property and were immediately impressed. It’s a beautiful setup with a large and pleasant braii area, multiple high-quality rooms, and some delightful people. We were even arriving too late and the host was happy to offer us some food they had available to help kickoff our braii session on arrival. Meeting Annie and her family was a wonderful experience and I’d highly recommend Kingfisher to anyone looking for hospitality and comfort.

If you're looking for a secluded place in the bushveld, this is the perfect location, close to Hoedspruit and the Kruger National Park. We spent an amazing week here, the perfect place to recharge our "batteries". The calls of the Fish Eagles will stay with us forever and the bird life is incredible. It was a pity we didn't see the wild dogs but the buffalo herd were there on the day that we left. Annie and her family are absolutely fantastic - thank you for making our stay so special. We will definitely return to this incredible accommodation.

Our stay at Kingfisher Creek was amazing. The rental itself was stunning and Annie and family made us feel welcome long before we even arrived. Travelling with teenagers was no problem because there was enough room for everyone to enjoy themselves. I would highly recommend this rental.
