We (Australian husband and wife) stayed two nights with our friends from Zimbabwe. The house is stunning with wonderful internal decorations and absolutely everything you need for a relaxed self catered experience. There is more than ample cutlery, crockery and cooking implements - something that is often lacking in other so-called self catering establishments. The bush setting is incredible, with birds and animals passing through all day, and more to see on the walks around the estate. We did not want to leave the house because it has such a comfortable and pleasing atmosphere, but we did drag ourselves away for a couple of walks, which were very rewarding. Our Zimbabwe friends kept on highlighting what exceptional value it was compared with what they could obtain in Zim for the price. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended. But if warthogs, zebras, duikers, vervet monkeys, guinea fowl and horn birds on your back doorstep make you nervous, best that you stay at home.
