Hemos disfrutado mucho con nuestra estancia en el apartamento de Hamish, cómodo, agradable, accesible a cualquie punto de la ciudad que se quiera ir, y un Wifi de primera que siempre es de agradecer Tal vez algunas pequeñas mejoras en pequeños detalles decorativos en algunos espacios, le darían un valor añadido superior, pero no tiene mayor importancia Muy recomendable.

This was the perfect apartment for three 60-year-old women on a girl's trip/family reunion! There were many excellent restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, and grocery stores within easy walking distance and taxis were always available and inexpensive to take us further distances. The apartment is beautiful and well-furnished with a lovely balcony to observe the activity on the street. We were met at the airport by a driver (Guillermo) arranged by the concierge service. Guillermo could not have been nicer and we arranged for him to take us back to the airport, as well. Santiago met us at the apartment and made sure we had everything we needed. The second bedroom would be difficult for taller people - the ceiling is low and there is a header you have to duck under to enter/exit the bedroom (I only bumped my head once!). I would definitely recommend this apartment and would stay there again!

This gorgeous historic apartment will get you in the mood for your excursions into Buenos Aires immediately. Your within a few blocks of the cemetery or just walk and soak up the beautiful architecture and stroll through the parks with the locals. We felt completely safe in the streets. The restaurant recommendations from Esteban who checked us in on behalf of Hamish the owner were terrific. The apartment has full kitchen facilities but we ate out most of the time. The wine shop on the corner has a great range of Malbec wines which Argentina is famous for. We can't wait to come back.

Hamish apartment in Recoleta is perfect for a short (or long stay) to see all the popular sites. We stayed 6 nights and loved it. Everything you need is in this stylish apt and with a grocery store in the next block, a liquor store on the corner and a great deli diagonally across the street you will want for nothing. Great comfy beds and excellent wifi. The service from start to finish was great and Hamish offered plenty of tips.

We enjoyed our stay here. The home is lovely, and had everything we needed. The location was good and allowed walking everywhere. There are restaurants, shopping, grocery stores within easy walking. We wish we had stayed in BA longer, as this central location would have allowed more sightseeing, visiting restaurants and more! Our only issue was with the internet, but since our visit, the owner has gone back to his home and identified the problem and has replaced the entire system with a faster and better technology. As it was, I simply went down the block to Starbucks to use their internet. We appreciated the optional airport pick-up service that was provided as it made our arrival and departure seamless.

Our family loved our stay in this elegant Buenos Aires apartmen!. From the moment we used the skeleton key to open the antique front door, we felt we had stepped back in time. Marble tiled floors, soaring ceiling heights and period furnishings add to the charm--of course having four bathrooms was pretty amazing too! Hamish the owner was wonderful with communication and Esteban from the management company greeted us warmly and arranged our transport to and from the airport. We wholeheartedly recommend staying in this lovely property when you visit this beautiful city.

This was our 5th trip to Buenos aires(Ba) and our third apartment. We have always stayed in Recoleta. This apartment was in the best location and was perfect for us. We are a couple in our late 60's. The apartment is as described. It was very traditional and upscale. The kitchen had all the amenities we wanted. The living room was spacious and the balcony was big enough to see all the street sights while standing with a glass of wine. Lane loved the foyer and and we sat there each night with cheese and wine before going to dinner. The vanity off the foyer was very convenient The master bedroom was spacious and the master bathroom was very big with a separate room for the toilet and bidet. The shower was also separate and had great water pressure. A double sink with much counter space and a walk in closet made it even better, all tile and marble by the way. The 2nd bedroom is better suited for kids than us in that it is up a steep flight of stairs and has a low entrance. We did not use it and did not need it but it has it's own good size bath. Marcela, who greeted us with flowers and wine, was very helpful and knowledgeable and would have been more so, I'm sure, if we weren't so familiar with Ba ourselves. She is definitely the best looking manager in Ba. She arranged for our transportation to and from the airport with Ernesto which was flawless. There are wine stores, cheese shops and pastry shops in the neighborhood and a small restaurant with outdoor tables right outside the door. A grocery is right around the corner. If you like the sounds of the city, which we do, they are there but they go away as soon as you close the doors. Los Pinos on French is our favorite local restaurant and a new upscale one, El Burladero on Uriburu, was terrific. We were thinking this was our last trip to Ba but based on this experience we plan now to return. If we return by ourselves we will rent here again definitely. We highly recommend it.
