I can highly recommend the ashram. Bhakta and his family are so lovely. The yoga classes are very good. The food was amazing. Everybody there is friendly and helpful. I felt like being in a family where everybody took well care of me. I really enjoyed the environment, the meditation in the morning, the asana classes, the pranayama and mostly I liked the philosophy classes. Bhakti taught me a lot about what yoga really is. I will definitely come back to this place.

Absolutely recommended!!
This ashram is an absolutely amazing place. It was such an enrichment to experience the inspirational yoga and philosophy classes, to practice cleansing rituals, to have cooking classes, to have relaxing walks in the surrounding and enjoy fantastic Nepalese food. Moreover Bhakta and and his family are so generous, helpful and welcomed us so warm-heartedly that we immediately felt as part of the family.
Thank you for this absolutely wonderful time!!

Highly recommended family yoga ashram
There are plenty of yoga retreat options in Nepal, but the Vedic ashram is a very unique place, it feels like home.
Bakhta is a very professionell and well-knowledged yoga instructor and teaches also the history of Yoga. The classes with Sobin were excellent and he always had a great sense what the group needed. The group size was very small so the needs of every individual were fulfilled.
I also have to highlight the tasty food - it was a culinary highlight during my travels in Nepal and I was able to try local food that you cannot buy in the restaurants. I miss it ... Further, the cooking class was a good fun.
I stayed more than a week in the yoga ashram and it was an inspiring experience which I can highly recommend to anyone who wants to have something authentic.

Wonderful experience which I'm very thankful for😊
I stayed in this wonderful place for 8 days, it was really such a great experience. Bakhta and his family were so welcoming and didi was a great cook and also walking guide! Sobin was a great teacher of yoga and meditation and well a lovely person to be around. I learned a lot here and I feel more important than the techniques it is more learning more about myself and others and the importance of life and living as good as we can😊

Place for heart in Nepal
I was looking for a place in Nepal where stay in contact with nature, quiet, bird sounds, yoga philosophy and practice. I’m very grateful I came ti Vedic Arogya Ashram and I met Bhakta and his family. It’s the place if you want to go deeper into your journey, stay into the Nepali family culture, study and practice the yoga principles. The Ashram is great for the spiritual and yoga journey. Since you arrive you notice the big heart from them, sharing and taking care of you. There’s a really good schedule from 6am to 8:30pm: morning meditation, loti cleaning, hatha yoga practice, 1h karma yoga, pranayama class, yoga philosophy class, meditation or yoga nidra after lunch, a walk... soft yoga or yin yoga (depend of the teacher), dinner and evening meditation. You can skip the class if you feel like, it’s not mandatory to go. All my love to this beautiful family, I’ll come back ❤️

Amazing experience
We stayed at ashram with my mom and my husband, and it was remarkable experience! My mom doesn’t speak English and she never did yoga before but she felt here like home, everyone was friendly, and helpful. My husband starts to love yoga thanks to that experience :)
Food was amazing, atmosphere great, rooms comfortable and simple.
This is not resort and spa! This is ashram, where you have to do karma yoga, it’s not luxurious, the rooms are simple, bathrooms sometimes outside the room, but you are coming here for yoga, meditation, peace and love, not for fancy hotel in the jungle ;)

Wonderful place
I stayed here for almost 2 weeks. It was my first time at a ashram and it was the best choice I made! The people there are really kind and amazing. They will treat you like family. I will recommend everyone the visit this ashram. :)

Happy to know this place
I spent time here in the beginning of the year. It's amazing place, amazing people and amazing program. I'm happy about results from detox program! I wish one day I will come again. Miss you Ashram!
