Dear guests, please allow me to draw a more accurate picture of your misleading comments. First of all, you have been extremely unfortunate with the weather as the heavy rain during most of your stay must have frustrated and upset you, thus ruining your expectations to enjoy the usual nice weather in Tenerife. This must have put you all in a rather bad mood during your stay at Casa Flamboyant. Let me remind you that my wife and I were on constant standby to assist you in every way we possibly could, to ensure that everything was to your expectations. I did indeed thank you for pointing out a few issues but you seem to have forgotten to add that - as part of our ongoing maintenance service - I sent the cleaning team with a - specially hired - industrial cleaning machine to professionally clean the garage floor that had become soiled. For that reason I had asked you to keep your cars parked outside for a couple of hours during the cleaning which you did. You mention that you couldn't use the garage, I hope other readers now understand why. The cleaners also took care of an extra midweek cleaning to pay detailed attention to the shower area around the floor rails which indeed benefitted from an extra scrub. I then booked an electrician who revised all sockets and lamps as requested, including 2 ceiling lights in the playroom that needed a new support ring. One door lock had a missing screw which we fixed, you've done a great job going through the whole villa and pointing out all small errors you managed to bring to my attention for which - once again - I'd like to thank you. A few walls could indeed do with a new lick of paint, this is actually part of our ongoing maintenance and has already been taken care of. I'm sure this doesn't concern you that much, but perhaps our future guests will be happy to read this. You mention that you paid 4320€ for 10 nights, that's correct and for the purpose of clarification, this includes a nice 10% discount which we have offered you. With regards to the oven, my wife has spent a good hour to clean up the oven and oven trays which you had left in a mess, clearly demonstrating that you did manage to use the oven, perhaps without being worried too much about cleaning up after use. You called me and my wife several times during your stay to complain about the above mentioned things, reassuring us that you only wanted to point out things we should replace or repair, without giving me the impression that this was actually ruining your holiday. Therefore, your review which is giving staff, location, comfort, cleanliness, facilities and value for money 2.5/10 seems a bit unrealistic to me. Last but not least, you did seem very pleased when I offered you a late check-out as a small gesture of goodwill, so after all I really don't think that your negative review is an accurate representation of the villa and staff. As numerous previous reviews demonstrate, my wife and I always listen to our customers, learn from constructive criticism, enjoy nice feedback, give an honest reply to all comments and encourage guests to keep in touch and recommend us to their friends and family. I am confident that future guests will take both our comments on board and make an informed decision based on our overall score of 94/100 based on the last 24 reviews. For that reason, it sounds absurd when you mention that I am not interested in keeping my clients happy. I look very much forward to welcoming our next guests. Kind regards, Mark
