We booked a 1 week stay over Thanksgiving for a small family wedding. The house was very clean with beautiful views of the mountains. The check-in process was very easy and the in-home guidebook made for a great resource!
One thing that was an oversight on our part is that there is no access to the garage, however the covered carport protected our vehicles nicely.
Overall, it was a great house and the hosts were very easy to work with! The amazing views and massive windows were an added bonus! We would definitely recommend this VRBO to other families!

Overall, I would consider booking again. There is no doubt the place was beautiful, not just the scenery alone, but the building itself was gorgeous inside and outside. From the moment you walk in, the place was breathtaking. The contact person, Tracy, was responsive to the call we made on the first day regarding issues that were broken.
We did have four issues. Yes, wifi is provided, but it is satellite internet which we tested was about 10MBs down. To be fair, you cannot expect perfect WIFI in the location that you were in. One netflix movie going in the living room was fine. But add anything else to the mix and you will be going at a crawl.
Some of the items were broken when we arrived: The outdoor grill did not ignite and required the use of a lighter. The ice machine did not work, but ice was provided in the freezer in a bag.
The locks on the external doors are very annoying to operate. Did we figure out how to use them? Yes, with the help of the binder that provided decent instructions and why they are used (for the elements). Was it still very annoying? Yes.
Finally, the cleaning requirements. They had a binder that requested certain things be done which I believe were not standard. For example, they asked us to do one load of towel laundry before we leave. Why? Is that not part of the cleaning fee?
Overall, I would come and book here again. I would research first at better options, but this would place I'd still consider!

Great views and comfortable environment with living room and deck. Layout allow for the bridal party to separate for many hours with hairdresser and make up teams for the women.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous home. All the amenities were there to use: fans, kitchen items, cleaning supplies, etc. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out but intimate enough for together time. The amazing fireplace was our favorite! We absolutely loved the view and the snowfall made it even more beautiful. We loved how secluded the home was, but Nederland was only a few minutes away. The host was very easy to get a hold of and helped us through the check in process. We didn't really have any complaints about this property and would definitely recommend it to others!

Pictures accurately depict the home. Architecturally stunning, wide open space between kitchen, dining and family room. Great views of the mountains. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped for a Thanksgiving meal. Definitely need 4-wheel drive in the winter as mentioned in description. We had an awesome trip - everyone loved the house

The property was stunning. It was a great set up for 7 adults (needing 4 bedrooms). Every bedroom had their own bath and was clean and spacious. The kitchen/dining/living area was perfect for everyone to hang out, cook and play games. This property was off the beaten path but close enough to Nederland for necessities. We were able to see a herd of elk out the living room window! Beautiful!

Our experience staying at this property was truly special. The builders and owners clearly put so much care and thought in the design, furnishing, and amenities that this home offers. Whether you have children, or are just staying with friends, this place has what you need. 10/10 in all respects.
