I've been hosting a group of guys for the past eight years and this is the first time we stayed in Steamboat. The Sky Valley Chateau was perfect in every way and David and Erica couldn't be more accomodating. We loved the place so much that we have already booked the Sky Valley Chateau for 2025 and for 2026. In addition, I'm going to host another event there in September. In one word, Fabulous!

Owner is on site, friendly, and very helpful. The house is well configured for a large group, and all the things we expected to find in the house were there. The only draw back is that there are no TVs in the bedrooms. Not a big deal.

This property was the perfect location for the family and friends to come and enjoy our wedding. There were 23 people that stayed at the house. The house was very clean. Plenty of room for everyone to get together or be apart. Outside had plenty of seating to accommodate all of us. I can't say enough good things. David was amazing, he walked through the house to show us where things were and how to operate the hot tub and made sure we understood that this is "our" home for the weekend. Check in and out was simple. There was plenty of room for all of the groceries, for all those people, for the entire weekend. The kitchen was stocked fully with everything we needed. The beds were comfy, and the pillows were amazing. You can't tell from the pictures, but you can see down into the valley, so every morning we would sit outside, drink our coffee and watch the hot air balloons take off. If you rent this property you will not regret it.

My fiancé and I had always wanted a wedding venue where everyone could stay and a small wedding in our home state of Colorado. This fit the bill plus some. The property itself is gorgeous. It’s just far enough away from the heart of steamboat that you have space but is easy to get to. From the grounds to the inside you couldn’t ask for a prettier place and great amenities.
Host is extremely helpful and was available whenever I had questions. They live on the property so if you need anything they’re right there.
They have a little set up for ceremonies with their own aspen arch. We had a blizzard going on but the aspens around and the window through the trees to the mountains and town make for a great venue.
All family staying had a great time and our dogs we worked out bringing with the host loved the nature.
Highly highly recommend even just for a trip with a larger party. It’s like the fanciest/coziest hotel you’ve ever been in.

THIS HOME IS AMAZING! We had 21 family members from across the country in Steamboat for a Family Reunion and we had a wonderful time. Our host, David, was awesome....whenever we had a question or a need, he was immediately responsive. Not only are there 10 bedrooms and baths in this home, the outdoor space with giant hot tub and play area out front was a hit with our family of all ages. David even washes and returns spa towels on a daily basis. I have stayed in many VRBO properties over the years, but never had service like David offered....he genuinely wants his guests to enjoy their time in Steamboat. The large kitchen area provides a great "gathering spot" for everyone. As we were packing up to leave, I heard my great nephew say "I love it here; I don't want to go home"....he said what we all were thinking! Thanks David!

This is a breath taking property! I had my micro wedding here, and it was perfect. David was a huge help from the start, helping accommodate all of our needs. I will definitely be staying here again! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

It was large enough to accommodate our family of 31+ from June 12-17, 2023. It was within 12-15 min of the grocery stores for food and supply runs, within 20 min of town for local restaurants and shopping, within 30 min for most of our activities (hot springs, hiking, fly fishing, meet up location for white water rafting). The place was clean upon arrival. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, foosball table, pool table, outside patio. My only complaints are (1) on the 3rd night, we noticed that one of the shower stall on the 3rd floor was leaking down to one of the 2nd floor shower stall so the folks in that room had to share with another room’s bathroom and (2) there weren’t good lighting at the foosball table so it was pretty dark when they played in the evening - night. David was very prompt in responses and overall communication. We would still stay here again if vacationing in the area and therefore we definitely recommend it for any other large groups.

This house and property are amazing!!! The views are gorgeous, the house was amazing with plenty of space for our 15 people!! The owner was so kind and generous!!! We loved everything about our stay and everyone from ages 4-72 were happy and entertained!

David and Erica were amazing hosts. They were in constant communication, helpful, and thoughtful. Our daughter's wedding could not have been more special. The scenery and landscaping set the stage for beautiful photos. The accommodations were beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend this venue for weddings, family gatherings, or any memorable occasion.
