My fiancée didn’t care about having a traditional wedding. She was ok with Elvis in Vegas. I didn’t care about Elvis or Vegas. So we chose to take a week at Casa Preciosa and have a quick ceremony on the beach and enjoy a week away. It was so much more than we could have ever imagined.
After a six hour flight delay, we arrived at 3am and were greeted by Paula and shown to our rooms. The rooms were beautiful and we had anything we could need. There was also a lovely gift basket with a bottle of champagne and a “Mr & Mrs” sign.
Everything about our stay was perfect. The ability to stay secluded inside the amazing pool area. The easy walk to the beach as well as the town of Chuburna. And as an amazing surprise, Paula made a gorgeous arc for us to use on the beach for our ceremony.
I can’t express enough how amazing our stay was. Everything was perfect… especially for the price. 100 stars if I could. We will definitely be back.

Casa Preciosa, una maravillosa experiencia!
Estuve 7 días en Casa Preciosa Yucatan donde Paula y Jack. Casa Preciosa es un paraíso, la casita Las Brisas es súper confortable con todo lo necesario para una larga estadía. La playa es prácticamente una playa privada pues durante la semana si uno encuentra 1-2 personas es mucho. Todo es muy limpio y Paula y Jack han hecho mucho por mantener la calidad de la playa, limpieza y demás. Gracias a estos amigos que hicieron mi estadía una maravilla y relajante experiencia!

Casa Preciosa Is an amazing place to be!!!!
Paula and Jack where outstanding and attentive hosts!! The pool was very relaxing for swimming and lounging with a cocktail. The scenery was breathtaking with beautiful flowers and ceramic art! The room was very clean and comfortable. I love having breakfast on the rooftop patio and watching the sunrise and sunset in the evenings. So romantic!! The beach which is steps away was clean and private not many people! The Town people were warm and friendly. There are restaurants nearby with great food! And if you want fresh coconut the coconut man is steps away ! Love it
Porty, Feo and Emma (Paula and Jack’s dogs) were so sweet we fell in love with them!!
Can’t wait to return !!!

Paradise Found!
I stayed at Casa Preciosa for two weeks, loved every moment of it, and wished I could have stayed longer! It's such a beautiful, chill place to be, whether in the pool, laying in the hammock on the roof or enjoying the beach (with rarely a soul on it!) which is just a short few steps away. The hosts Paula and Jack are super lovely and have truly created a paradise; you feel as if you're in your own private resort! The casitas are spacious and well equipped with everything you could ever need and perfect if you want to stay in and cook (and make margaritas!) for yourselves, otherwise there are some great local restaurants within easy walking distance. Also, heaps of things to do if you prefer to be more active, with Progreso, and Mérida close by. Casa Preciosa is a must stay if you want to get away from the touristy areas of Mexico and spend time in a "real" (and safe!) Mexican village

Rent it!
I normally don't write reviews but this property is so good!
We wanted a place where we could have a relaxing beach vacation but also be close enough to explore cenotes and archeological sites of the Yucatán. Casa Preciosa ended up being perfect for that!
From the moment my husband and I booked, and all throughout the trip, the hosts had great communication and were willing to help with any questions we had.
Upon arrival my first impression was how much attention to detail the hosts put into the place. Little things like a lot of hooks in the bathroom to a complete guidebook of the area show they have really thought about guests comfort. Oh and speaking of comfort, the bed was amazing! Supportive without being too hard. I didn't take any photos of the room but it looks just like it's advertised on the website.
The exterior of the property is gorgeous and there are plenty of private places to sit where it feels like you have the entire house to yourself. We stayed a month and spent a lot of days just at the property because it's so relaxing and has everything we needed. However, if you want to take the 1 min walk to the beach, the hosts can set you up with beach towels and chairs. Listen for the homemade ice cream cart swing by to top off your day!
I feel like I could go on and on because this place is just amazing. It's not on the tourist path just yet so book this place if you want a real Mexican vacation without the craziness of Señor Frogs😂

The perfect stay!
We are regular travelers and would rate Paula & Jack's beach house as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed.
We stayed 4 nights at casa preciosa and we had a wonderful time!
The "casitas" are the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Mexican coast. You will find everything you need, from pots and glasses to beach chairs and a bbq!
The bed is comfortable, bathroom and terrace are excellent..and location is simply incredible!
We can't wait to go back!

Safe and relaxing stay
We booked here for a relaxing vacation well deserved after a long covid lock down. The place was sparkling clean and made us feel very safe. It also has all you need: the beach a stone throw away, a warm but refreshing pool, a sea view terrace, a bbq.. All with your desired amenities: beach chairs, pool bar and floaters, sitting and eating space on the terrace etc. The studio is super equipped making it easy to stay for a prolonged period.
Don't think twice, just book your stay with Paula and Jack.

You have to come here!!!
We just returned from 9 days at Casa Preciosa and words cannot explain how much we enjoyed every minute. It’s in all the reviews but I’ll say it again, Paula and Jack are the best hots you can imagine. They killed us with kindness and aside from that, they are a wonderful source of information and are always willing to help. The casita is beautiful and impeccably clean. The bed is super comfy, the towels nice and fluffy, fully equipped kitchen and the WIFI was really fast, even on the roof top. We spent a lot of time on the roof seeing it has such a beautiful view of the ocean but if you want your feet in the sand, the water is literally 20 seconds away from the front door and you will most likely have to beach to yourself. Chuburna is a great little town with plenty of shops and restaurants. We used Casa Preciosa as a base seeing that all the major sites we wanted to see were a couple of hours drive away maximum but you have a piece of paradise 5 minutes away, Land’s End beach. That place was one of the highlights of our trip. So if you’re looking for a beautiful and relaxing place to stay (the courtyard is to die for) don’t hesitate, this is it. We will go back for sure, for longer. Thanks guys!!!

Best vacation ever!
We just left and we want to go back! Usually we are ready to come home after a week but not this time. Stay longer! Paula and Jack were amazing. The villa had absolutely everything we needed. It was incredibly clean. The pool and rooftop terrace were amazing. We met another couple who were staying in the other villa and they were great! There are three little dogs there that won our hearts and we really wanted to bring them home. They were so well behaved.
The beach was absolutely stunning and the water was so clear. Chuburna was small and quaint. Chelam was an easy ride by local transportation. Monday we went to great little market on the highway. We didn’t tour around much but the other couple found tons to do while they were there we noticed. Progresso has everything we needed as far as groceries etc.
If you are looking to get off the beaten path in Mexico start here!
And most importantly we felt incredibly safe.
You won’t be sorry if you book here. I could share a thousands pictures! Enjoy!

We didn't want to leave!
Casa Preciosa is amazing! The casita was stocked full of everything you'd need. The location was great, the beach is RIGHT THERE. Paula and Jack give so many great recommendations that we didn't have time to try all the restaurants or places to go, a good reason to return. Every recommendation was fantastic; from food to excursions. Their dogs are the best! My husband fell in love with the rooftop terrace, he'd probably live up there if he could. This is an amazing place to stay on vacation and you'll get wonderful tips from Paula and Jack, just ask or text. They return messages almost immediately. You will not find better hosts! We miss them and the dogs already and it's only been a day. Thank you, Paula and Jack, for such a great time!
