What a great place to unwind....
A gem of a condo is the first word that comes to my mind while thinking about the two weeks I spent on Marco recently. I have been traveling to and spending time on Marco Island for over 35 years since I used to work overseas for the Deltona Corporation, the original developer of Marco Island and, as a result, stayed at many Marco beach front accommodations. The Marco Beach Ocean Resort is certainly in my top 5 resorts. This particular unit is very different from most 'ordinary' condo's due to the fact that it offers a very private cosy garden and terrace, located on the same level as the beautiful pool so you don't need to take the elevator or stairs. Gary, the owner, was very pleasant to work with, both communication wise as well as making sure everything was taken care of quickly and to the highest standards one can possibly expect.

WONDERFUL - FANTASTIC - INCREDIBLE - AMAZING
Working with the owners of the condo was a fantastic experience. I booked early and kept in contact. They were very informative and wonderful to work with. The condo was in perfect condition. Very well kept. Very Clean. It was in the perfect location right on the ocean. We were on the same floor as the pool, although we had our own veranda where we would sit each night and enjoy the afternoon sun. I have to say that we were the envy of all the people we were with that stayed in hotel rooms. The convience of having a stove, microwave and refridgerator saved us money eating out every meal. There is no doubt - this is the way to go ! Thank you to the owners for making our first experience in Marco Island such a Wonderful one !

Wonderful, relaxing time!
My husband & I recently stayed at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort. We had a great relaxing time. The owner, Gary, was very helpful in the rental process - punctual in responding to our questions, and got our keys to us in a timely manner. The unit was just as we expected it to be. I was a little concerned that it was on the garden level (without an upper floor view), but we found that we appreciated that view as well, along with being able to walk out to the pool and beach from the patio door. And privacy was not an issue on the garden level either, as there is so much beautiful foliage around the unit. We appreciated the 'extra' kitchen utensils (as compared to renting a unit directly from the hotel as we have done previously) - having regular size coffee cups, larger glasses and extra dinner plates. The resort is very close (within easy walking distance) to many great restaurants, and cab fares are very reasonable on the island. A great place to stay!!

Our condo was lovely, very well equipped. Beautiful private patio with lots of greenery.
Does not have an ocean view, although the property is on the beachfront. A nice walk
to the beach. It was so nice to have beach chairs and towels provided, also a cooler to use.
The location was perfect, easy access to walking, restaurants, and water views.
We loved our stay, and would definitely go back again. The clientele at the resort was very
nice, as was the staff.

Gorgeous Condo; Fabulous Vacation
We stayed 1 week in this condo and wished it was longer. Gary the owner was great to work with - responded to inquiry right away, sent a wonderful welcome book a month before our vacation explaining the condo and area restaurants, etc., and was great in getting us the keys before we left.
The onsite parking garage is great and with our coded keys we were able to to pull right in and park. No check in needed so we went immediately to the elevator up to the condo. We were greeted by a letter of welcome from Gary and a bottle of wine on the counter! Nice!
The condo is bigger and nicer than the photos show (which is usually not the case!). Very clean. Very well maintained. Top notch luxury. The kitchen is fully stocked with pans, dishes, etc. We shopped at the local grocery stores (Target & Walmart both nearby, with a Winn Dixie just down the street, and other options close too) and ate some meals in. The living room is spacious and the couch comfortable to sit and enjoy reading and watching TV (plenty of lamps for reading). I was able to use the large desk to do some work I'd brought. The wi fi is very strong. The TV is large and well placed.
The bedroom is large and has plenty of storage for your vacation clothes. There is an ironing board and iron in the closet. The curtains block the sun so you can sleep late in the very comfortable king size bed with very nice linens. The bathroom is very large, with a huge soaking tub and separate shower. The bathroom is all marble and very luxurious. Lots of fluffy bath towels and hand towels - you won't run out! There is a nice clothes line option in the bathroom (like hotels have) that is great for hanging bathing suits on!
The patio is really nice with the lush gated garden. It is very private. We enjoyed breakfast, some lunches, and many evenings here. The gate opens into a larger resort garden from which you can see the beach, or access the pool.
The condo is fully beach-ready with 4 beach chairs, a new beach umbrella (the resort beach attendants will drill a hole in the sand for you for the umbrella so it doesn't blow away), boogie boards, pails/shovels, and coolers. There is a huge stack of fluffy beach towels as well.
The resort itself is very nice. The restaurants and bars in the resort are top notch. All of the staff was very nice and couldn't do enough for us. We've stayed at resorts all over the Carribean and Mexico, and in the US, and this is one of the best if not the best one we've stayed at. The pool is fantastic with a great staff. Don't miss the 3 PM smoothies, or 5-7 happy hour at the pool and beach bars!
There is a very nice gym with all new equipment to use. The business center is well equipped. There is a very nice spa where you can get facials, massages, etc.
The New York Times was delivered each morning to the door. Nice!
Don't miss the best sunsets we've ever seen. The resort rings the captain's bell as the sun slips over the horizon. All of the guests are out on the beach or on the decks to watch.
We saw manatees and dolphins right off the beach. Great beach to walk on.
It was very nice and quiet. There were families with small children, however it wasn't an issue - they were well behaved and the staff interacted with them nicely.
The Marriott next door (just a 5 minute walk down the beach) has entertainment on the beach at night if you want to walk down. We had a nice buffet breakfast here one morning, and a nice earlier dinner at their beach pub one evening.
I just can't say enough about this condo and this resort. We'll be renting again next year! Thanks Gary for a great week!

Outstanding!
We wanted a beachside vacation on the Marco Island beach. Could not find a hotel room & searched for a condo. What a great discovery! This is a first class property and condo. The owner Gary & his wife are just terrific. They take great pride in their place and make every effort to make sure you as the guest renter are well informed and taken care of. The keys arrived 2 weeks before we left. Free parking for our rental car on the owners level. Elevator right up to the 5th floor! Beautiful, practical and immaculate! The kitchen is a great feature for breakfast & lunch on a beach vacation. This condo is garden level and has an outdoor patio table with 2 chairs on the patio. We could sit out there each morning or evening with coffee or a glass of wine. It is also on the pool level which makes it very convenient. WIFI is very strong throughout the building and property even outdoors! Easy to watch NETFILX poolside! The owners provided an overview of the unit, Marco Ocean Beach Club and the surrounding restaurants. Great recommendations. We shopped at the nearby PUBLIX store for breakfast, lunch and snack items. There are two excellent restaurants located on the property. This property is 5 STARS! located right on the beach (not across the street). The owners have thought of everything by providing 4 beach chairs & umbrella plus flexible soft side coolers that you can take to the beach. They even had some sand shovels and pails if you have kids with you. The bathroom is large and luxurious. The kitchen has a granite countertop with nice appliances. There is a coffee maker, dishes, coffee mugs, wine glasses and numerous pots and pans. When we arrived the owners had a bottle of wine and 2 glasses waiting for us! Nice touch! We will definitely return again and for a full week next time!!!!

Marco Island Getaway
I've been visiting Marco Island for 25 years. I've previously stayed at the Hilton and the Marriot and found the Marco Beach Ocean Resort just as impressive. It's a beautiful, well-maintained property and the condo was lovely - clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. Having the kitchen was a plus, and easy access to the pool and beach enhanced our experience. I will definitely stay here again, and recommend it to family and friends!

Very nice condo in a great location
My review would echo that of others. This is a very nice condo in a prime location with easy access to the beach, dining and shopping. Nice extras were parking on the owners' floor, access to the fitness center and being on the same level as the pool. The owners welcomed us with a bottle of wine and offer amenities such as a beach chairs, umbrella and cooler bags.

Great place for families.
We just returned from our stay in Marco Island and we had a fabulous stay. The condo was superb and the location was ideal. The staff at the property was great and renting the condo was a breeze. We would highly recommend this rental. The only complaint was the kitchen as we knew was only a kitchenette.

Great Location and excellent service
The condo is well located - right on the beach and a good walk to the centre of Marco Island. Having stayed on Sanibel Island previous Marco Island is very different. It is more built up but still provides a great location for a break. The condo 504 is great for the afternoon sun - from mid day to sunset. Overall a great experience and the organisation by Gary and Suzanne was first class getting the door keys to Northern Ireland exactly as they agreed. First class.
