We visited this very comfortable cottage for a week with friends. It was a wonderful place to relax and catch up. Stephanie was terrific with any questions we had about the booking. The weather was perfect, and we really enjoyed sitting outside on the deck, it was such a pretty spot. We of course had to have meals of lobsters and clams, and the kitchen has everything you could want to cook with. We had a very pleasant surprise when the neighbor next door stopped by to say Hello and bring us some tomatoes fresh from her garden, so yummy in our salad that evening. This cottage is furnished nicely and was spotless! The inside porch was so cozy on the one rainy day we had. There are lots of places of interest in the area, but on this trip, we were very content at the cottage.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage in Harpswell! It was close to family and not too far to Popham Beach, Boothbay Harbor and Brunswick. It was exactly what you want for a Maine cottage on the water. Beautiful views and the air smells so clean of pine and sea air! Perfect getaway during the horrid times of COVID-19. Hope to come back again and highly recommend!

We rented this cottage to be close to family in Brunswick, but we hardly left our peaceful spot on the water. Instead, our family came over every day to enjoy our perfect vacation location. We loved the water view from the back porch and the deck. The kids loved swimming and doing cannonballs off the dock! The next door neighbor, Sue, was so kind and helpful. We brought our 2 kayaks, and she allowed us to put in on her property, so we didn't have to carry them down to the docks. (Do remember, the little cove you are on is tidal, so you have to watch the tides to be able to get out and in). We loved reading, doing a 1000-piece puzzle and drinking our tea/coffee on the porch. My niece and nephew came over frequently and loved the freedom of the grassy backyard. We also loved the Maine Coastal Botanical Gardens. If you love this kind of things, I would highly recommend that you go. I was able to take some amazing pictures! We also loved driving down to Harpswell, Orr's Island and Bailey's Island. More picture-perfect Maine views. This will be a vacation to remember!

The cottage is wonderful and is on the water. There is access for swimming, although being Maine, it is not sandy beach, but still fantastic. The owner left us a welcome gift of flowers and wine. If we are able, we hope to book the cottage for two weeks next year.

Spent a lovely week in Maine. A well equipped and roomy kitchen, comfy chairs on the screened in porch. We kayaked from the dock, grilled outside on the deck, and watched some exciting football matches. Stephanie is a good host, available when we had questions. Lots of drawers and shelves stocked with games, puzzles, and other treasures for the kids; fresh flowers and a bottle of wine on the kitchen table for the adults. I am planning on booking again next year.

The cottage was adorable and very nicely furnished with charming antiques and furniture. It was well stocked with dishes, utensils and spices. Everything anyone would need to cook with was made available. There was a gas grill available on the front porch, although we did not have the opportunity to use it. We arrived late at night and did have a little difficulty finding the cottage as our GPS was not accurate. One of the neighbor's a few doors down was pulling onto the road and was extremely helpful in guiding us to the cottage. He was also so helpful in assisting us in getting into the cottage and even offered the use of his kayaks. The view was incredible from the back enclosed patio and the back deck. The owners were very kind in leaving all their contact information on the dining room table and even left a welcoming gift. We have family in Harpswell so this was a great find in being able to be close to them. It was incredibly hot the week we were there, and although the cottage does not have air conditioning, with the fans going and the breeze from the water, the cottage was still comfortable. I would definitely recommend renting this adorable cottage. We would certainly not hesitate to rent from Ms. Roy again.

Originally we were just looking for accommodation within easy reach of Brunswick to enable us to visit relatives, but within a very short time we realised we had found so much more. Set in the pines with the tidal bay where we watched seals, sea ducks and lobster traps being raised, to enjoying fixing fresh seafood bought just up the road at Gurneys and Allens in South Harpswell and the evenings relaxing by the cute fire on a lovely cozy couch in the most welcoming cottage, it doesn't get much better than this. We arrived home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, Thanks Stephanie, it was perfect.

Stéphanie est une hôtesse tant discrète que attentionnée... L'emplacement; le calme et les sympathiques voisins sachant vous mettre à l'aise demeureront un souvenir des plus agréable... Kayak devant le chalet et rouler sur les agréables petites routes des alentours... Puis retour au chalet pour un bbq ou un homard de chez gurnet trading co. A 5 min un must.... On y retourne probablement l'an prochain!

We stayed for two weeks this year and found it as peaceful and lovely as it was last year. Would go back again without question. The owner were as accommodating as any could be,very nice.

My 2 sons, 2 of their friends and I spent the 3rd week of August in this cottage in the Indian Rest neighborhood in Gurnet Cove. It was a snug fit for 5 adults and there were several items we set aside to provide more space for the week. Otherwise, the cottage is well equipped with everything we could possibly need and is surrounded by wonderful decks and a screened porch. It's an easy stroll from the house to the water and the very friendly neighbors shared not only the pier, but loaned us bicycles and board games as well. From the pier we were able to go kayaking and swimming every day. It's also a beautiful area for biking but, given the narrowness of the roads, you need to choose routes wisely. Our meals included locally caught mussels, fresh crabs, beef and eggs direct from the farm and plenty of locally grown blueberries. If you're looking for a cottage for a peaceful, week-long retreat, I can't recommend this one too highly.
