We had a 5 night family stay for my mum's 60th.
Have stayed in a few air b n b places before but this one sadly, did not meet our expectations or standards.
Firstly, arrived to check in to find cleaners still there, they took another hour and a half to finish 'cleaning' so prepping dinner was delayed and this was not ideal as we had 4 young children with us. Due to the rush, it was obvious the cleaners didn't do a very good job, and didn't help they spoke no English. Cobwebs were visible, skirtings dusty not to mention huge spiders.
The bins were still full of beer bottles and stank, the host wasn't around to sort it out so she sent her gardener! We didn't have any toilet rolls, bin liners or dish washer tablets - though the kitchen was ok equipped with utensils, it wasn't very well organised. The baby high chair was filthy and didn't even have the soft seat on it, needless to say, I didn't use it. Pots and pans were old and stratched so trying to make scramble eggs was a mission as it stuck.
The toilet seats didn't align with the toilet so wobbled every time you sat on it, not very safe for children.
The garden and rooms were an ok size, bonus was the garden for my boys. It wasn't very warm when we stayed but we found the upstairs rooms to be really hot, not good if it was a heatwave!
Location was ok, still had to drive 15-30 minutes to get anywhere decent.
Though the host came to apologise on the 3rd day, this didn't help to how our holiday started.
I definitely wouldn't stay here again nor recommend. The cottage doesn't have many reviews and it's obvious why.

Lovely country cottage
Appletree Cottage was a perfect place for our recent stay in the Cotswolds.
The house is very well appointed, with a lovely kitchen/ family room that opens out onto a paved patio.
The owner, Kristy, was very helpful and easy to contact.
The village of Bishampton has a great pub called The Dolphin, that serves great food and the staff are very welcoming. There is also a general store/cafe where you can stock on fresh bread, vegetables and groceries.

Nice stay
Host was easily contactable, and any questions or issues were dealt with swiftly. Nice place and in walking distance to the pub.

Perfect Family space in a peaceful location.
The cottage is in a near perfect village with a community run Shop and pub just minutes away. Nearby there a many things to do even during the Christmas period.
The cottage was the perfect size for our party of 8 having a choice of seating areas and a lovely kitchen diner from where you could watch the birds going about their daily routine. The facilities are excellent. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

It is a fantastic cottage!!
The cottage is fantastic, new, clean, modern and very comfortable. We visited our friends locally and also been to Cotswolds and Stratford-Upon-Avon with our daughter. All of us had a great time. The owner Kristy is also very friendly and we will certainly visit again.

Review from recent stay
Positives: beautiful house and village. Lovely pub down the road and peaceful setting. Great for a quiet getaway.
Negatives: no information at house of useful amenities in the area. Cleaning average with lots of dust and food under units and sofa in kitchen. It states sleeps 8 but this caused us huge problems as the twin room upstairs has a small child toddler bed. Our 11 year old is average height and couldn't fit in the bed. For a four night stay this was not OK and alternative arrangements had to be made by us, the owner didn't offer any help to rectify the situation. It sleeps 7 with a small toddler. Hardly no pots and pans so cooking for 7/8 is difficult and the tin opener doesn't work. Small things but worth noting so you come prepared.

We strive to provide our guests with pleasant holiday stay at our cottage and happy to provide things that are needed during your stay. Unfortunately we can’t change a bed that quickly, and we are sorry about the problem it has caused you. The smaller bed is going to be replaced by a normal size bed in the near future and hopefully this problem won’t happen again. We have also added some new gadgets in the kitchen. Again thanks for your stay and hope to see you again in the future.

Great cottage in a lovely location
Just home from a long weekend. My husband, two daughters and two of their friends stayed at the cottage. Loved the kitchen which overlooked the lovely garden. Cottage is in a great location for exploring the Cotswolds villages.

Casa muy bonita y confortable en un entorno precioso y tranquilo
Casa muy confortable de estilo moderno en un entorno precioso y tranquilo. Kristy, su propietaria es una persona muy amable que nos dejó todas las indicaciones necesarias para llegar a la casa y como desenvolvernos dentro de ella. El pueblo está cerca de Redditch ( a una media hora en coche), donde existen centros comerciales y línea de ferrocarril directa a Birmingham. También está cerca de Worcester( a media hora en coche también) que es un pueblo muy bonito con un rio que tiene una reserva natural de cisnes. Eso si, imprescindible tener coche y GPS si no te desenvuelves muy bien por la zona. En general, muy recomendable

Lovely modern cottage
My family of wife, two daughters and three grandchildren booked initially for a week then extended it for a second week because it was such an excellent let. The cottage is very modern with all amenities and a large lawn which was ideal for the children. One excellent feature was the concertina french windows opening onto the patio. Well situated close to Evesham and Pershore. The village of Bishampton has a really excellent Pub (the Dolphin) which has top class food and attentive staff. We certainly will look to book this again in the future. The Landlady was first class and very helpful and friendly. Recommended highly!
