Spectacular/First Class
Everything about Blue Ribbon Run is OUTSTANDING. My wife and I are nearing the end of a 14 day stay. Donna, our host has served us extremely well and is fun to be with. Chris Fleck picked us up in front of the house for a float trip down the scenic Stillwater. Imagine yourself sitting in the back yard by a fire pit watching the lightning in the distance. The cool breezes are blowing, the rush of the river soothes the soul, and the sunset behind the mountains is a heaven made spectacle. That’s what it was like last night just after I caught two beautiful trout right at dusk on the river in front of the house. We’re pinching ourselves to make sure we haven’t died and gone to heaven. Sensory overload!! Several gourmet restaurants are within striking distance, The grocery store and sandwiches at nearby Fishtail are convenient and really fun. Everybody is so friendly!

Beautiful, immaculately clean lodging in a spectacular riverfront setting!
Scheduled for a two-day float fishing trip with StillWater Anglers, we were thwarted by the unseasonable rains and high water. Our hosts suggested several alternate activities in the area, and we followed up with some beautiful mountain explorations, a couple of short hikes, and some fishing in smaller tributaries. The accommodations were exceptional! We prepared our own meals in the fully equipped kitchen, barbecued on the charcoal grill, and thoroughly enjoyed our most comfortable stay. To our surprise, there was also good wifi and reasonably good cell coverage! In summary, a great place to stay in a wonderful riverfront setting!

Great stay in beautiful country setting
Peaceful. Comfortable. Beautiful, spacious apartment. Fully furnished. Brand new. Right on the banks of the Stillwater River. I would come back any time!

Everything top notch - awesome location and property!
This place exceeded our expectations! My wife, son, and I have stayed here twice and we had a great time on both visits. This is a brand-NEW home which means the downstairs rental is also brand new. Everything was immaculate and the view from this place is simply amazing. You are right on the Stillwater River. I could literally be fishing one of the productive runs in less than a minute if I had my fly fishing gear already set up. We explored a lot during our stay just to get a feel for the area and after seeing much of this country we realized that the location of this place is hard to beat. The owner is also amazing! She is a very nice person and even set out a bunch of toys on the living room table for our 9-month-old before we got there! The communication was also great during booking and before our arrival when we had questions. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back in the summer!

Nestled on the banks of the Stillwater River with a beautiful view of the Beartooth Mountains, I immediately knew Blue Ribbon Run was the perfect choice. The accommodations were amazing, with a western motif and artwork unparalleled. The hostess could not have been more gracious and welcoming. Private walkout to the river, swing, fire pit, chairs and coffee with the deer. Full kitchen, laundry, bunkbeds, private master bedrooms. Very clean and new. Montana is a place of beauty and peace. The Blue Ribbon Run was the ideal place to stay while enjoying all that the area had to offer. Highly recommended!! And you will even find Grace there!!

Relaxing get away
We had such an amazing stay here! Beautiful views right out the back door, falling asleep to the river running. Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing get away. Great hiking in the surrounding mountains and world class fishing all at your finger tips. Must stay if your getting away from town or just passing through! Thanks for your hospitality Donna

On the banks of the Stillwater river in the foothills of the Beartooth mountains north of Yellowstone.
Lovely accommodations on the ground level with own walkout to the river behind the house. Spectacular views, comfortable, private suite with own kitchen and bath. We only stayed a single night on our way to Yellowstone but it would be a great place for an extended weekend or week stay. If you're a fly fisherman it's a 50-step walk to one of the best trout streams anywhere. Gracious host can arrange guide services upon request.

Lovely northern Rockies setting with stellar views, gracious hosts, artful surroundings
Montana is rapidly being recognized by the rest of the world as a beautiful place to unwind and soak up nature. Blue Ribbon Run on the banks of the meandering Stillwater River is a picturesque, artful setting for relaxation and exploring. It's remote but not isolated, with fun restaurants and quaint stores within a half-hour's drive. Our visit began with a warm welcome from the hosts, who are accommodating, well traveled and interested in others' experiences. They are discreet and not intrusive, just helpful and available for special requests, including catering a special meal in the lovely dining area. The views are gorgeous, the home is beautifully decorated with artwork, antiques and a western flair. We travel the world and live part-time in Montana. We recommend this to our friends from the Americas, the Middle East, Asia and Europe.
