For the previous 8 years, we have stayed in a home rental located in North Cape May a few blocks from the bay. Last fall, we bought a boat and wanted to take full advantage of it during our vacation this summer so we switched it up. It was so AWESOME to be able to board our boat at any time and either go for a cruise or hang out at the dock. A bonus was how many people swam, kayaked, etc. right in the harbor - we had no idea! Our sons were more active than they have ever been during our summer vacations taking full advantage of this great location and opportunities for playing outdoors. The home is smaller than we would usually rent but it fit my husband, my two teenage sons and I really well. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our 3rd year in a row renting the condo on the bay. The owners are awesome! The condo is always in pristine condition when we arrive and the owners are quick to reply if you need anything. We will be back next summer!

We loved being right on the bay. We had the option to be on the beach or in the bay all day and night. Being in the inlet was perfect!!

We had probably the best vacation ever. This home on the bay - the views, the swimming off the dock and into the bay, was unreal. the location is everything. You would walk right out of the house and right on the busy street of stone harbor, shopping, coffee, ice cream, resteraunts, the spa - I mean everything is right there. It’s very quiet and to yourself but you’re also right in the heart of stone harbor. We will sure miss the deck view over the water with morning coffee and late night cocktails and dinners down on at the table leveled with the water. The neighbors were so nice. The only negative (which barley is a negative) was the small, compact living area. There are three bedrooms and they’re just on the small side so not a lot of room to lay suitcases and such with the bed in the room, but we made it work and moved some little furniture pieces to lay the suitcases - we def made it work but that would be the only negative and low ceilings. and maybe it would be nice to have a little tiny tv in the bedrooms for at night. But they are the only negatives and they’re minut. The owner john was very nice and friendly and quick to respond to anything we needed . You’re close in walking distance to rent jet skis, paddle boards and kayaks! Truly the best vacation ever and we’re so sad to leave. Thank you for hosting us john and for forever family memories.

If you’re looking for the best location in Stone H...
If you’re looking for the best location in Stone Harbor, this is the place you are looking for. You get the best of both worlds- 2 blocks to the beach and the bay in your backyard (not to mention all the shops and restaurants within a 2 minute walk). With a 2 year old, we loved having the option to do the beach in the morning and then hang on the dock and in the bay in the afternoons instead of lugging our gear back to the beach.
We had a few issues on check in (such as keypad entry wouldn’t lock) that John was quick to respond to and resolve. We have never had such a responsive VRBO host- throughout our entire stay (2 weeks) he was a available via text or phone for any questions or concerns we had. He also provided us with some beach chairs and a beach cart that came in handy.
While there are many “fancier” rentals on the island to rent, ultimately we would choose to stay in John’s property over and over again due to the perfect location and how responsive he was as a host.

Had a great time and the place was in a excellent location. Very well maintained and my dog went crazy with all of the great views from the balcony. We all had a great time.
