We have visited many holiday houses in Europe but this was by far our best stay! The Pelagia villa is very comfortable and provides everything you may need. The pool is great and it's cleaned regularly. It was delightful to spend some lazy mornings and afternoons in the shaded comfortable sun beds at the pool... The hosts are extremely friendly and they assure almost hotel like service which is rarely the case in private rented villas. And on top of that we received two delicious meals cooked by Elena! The location of the villas is very convenient - in appropriate distance from the crowded seaside resorts but still very close to the sea and some lovely beaches. It's near to Rethymno and other important places of interest are within easy reach by car (Heraklion, Arcadi monastery, ancient Eleutherna etc.). We would recommend Elena&Pelagia villas to anyone and we'll never forget our holidays there :)

We, family of four, had a two week wonderful stay in Villa Pelagia. The house was nice and clean with calm and beautiful surroundings. We got a warm welcome when we arrived late in the evening, and Elena had made us a good meal, and even bought groceries for breakfast! Sheets and towels were changed two times a week, and the house was cleaned as well, excellent! We enjoyed the pool, and went to see many of the places recomended by Elena and her family. Their hospitality is really one of a kind, and we would warmly recomend a stay in Villa Pelagia:-) Marianne&family

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in der Villa Pelagia verlebt und besonders den Pool genossen. Die Ausstattung der Villa lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig und die Vermieterin ist sehr gastfreundlich. Bei der Ankunft war der Kühlschrank gefüllt und am Dienstag gab es ein leckeres selbstgekochtes Essen. Zwei kleine Nachteile gibt es: Bis zum Strand und zur nächsten Taverne braucht man doch das Auto. Und die Zufahrt zur Villa ist ein huckeliger Schotterweg.

A beautiful villa which was well-appointed and spacious. The wifi and pool were particularly welcome. However, what really stood out for me were the attentive hosts throughout. We arrived after midnight and yet Pelagia still met us and showed us personally to the villa. Similarly, Elena cooked us a delicious Cretan meal which she left for us to enjoy in the middle of our week and cleaned halfway through our stay. It was fantastic to have such lovely people looking after us.

I hardly know where to begin to write about how much we enjoyed staying at Villa Pelagia! First of all, the Marinakis family, who own the villa, could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The villa itself was in a spectacular location which offered complete privacy and wonderful views in all directions. The outdoor gardens were absolutely stunning along with the rest of the outdoor facilities. The villa itself was well-appointed and had everything one needed. We were also impressed with how comfortable the beds were. We have stayed in other very nice villas in Crete, but Villa Pelagia is the one to which we hope to return again and again!

A fantastic holiday in a nice clean villa with a lovely welcome from the hosts. Great pool and situated in lovely scenery, olive groves and mountains and sea in the distance. A short distance from many amenities. The holiday was enriched by the welcome food packages and friendly cheap restaurants nearby. A holiday where you can choose between quiet or busy locations with fantastic owners who were as lovely as the place itself. A holiday I would recommend. A big thank you to Elena and Pelagia.

Nous avons passé 3 semaines dans la villa Elena. Tout était conforme. La villa est au calme à 5 minutes à peine en voiture de la première plage, petits magasins et tavernes. Nous avons eu un très bon accueil par Elen et Nikos les propriétaires. Comme convenu lors de la réservation, Elen nous apportait tous les jours un plat typique crétois (très copieux) ainsi que du pain. Elle nous a fait le plaisir de nous faire gouter des olives, fromage et vin fait maison. De plus, le ménage et changement des draps et serviettes de toilette est effectués 2 fois par semaine. Nous avons beaucoup visité et particulièrement aimé le littoral dont le lagon de Balos et Elafonis mais également la plage de Triopétra dans le Sud. Nous recommandons cette villa sans aucun problème. Nous remercions à nouveau Elen et Nikos pour leur gentillesse et les bons moments passés ensemble
