Wonderful accommodations! Very comfortable for our family of 5. Everyone had plenty of space. And the location is most ideal. 2 mins from lake and main street. Peggy is a wonderful and informative host and really has thought of everything! Would love to come back next year!

This was our second visit to t his apartment and are looking forward to return again soon. Apartment is very cozy, nicely decorated, and well appointed with everything you might need to enjoy a stay here. Location is quiet neighborhood but still very close to main street with a short walk. Arrangements are very easy and owner is very helpful and accommodating. Overall cant say enough good about this property and highly recommend it

We were just thrilled with our Pine Place Apartment in Lake Placid. Peggy was just so accommodating and every need was met. She recommended places to go and sights to see. We could just tell that Peggy loves what she does and where she lives.

We had a lovely time at this quietly located apartment just a couple of blocks from shops and restaurants. It was well appointed, clean and had all the comforts of home. I recommend it if you want the Lake Placid experience and a place to relax and unwind.

Pine Place is perfect for a Lake Placid getaway: comfortable, within walking distance of downtown, and charmingly decorated with classic Adirondack touches. The apartment was spotlessly clean and fully-equipped with everything from kitchenware to books, board games, and DVD's. The gas fireplace added a warm touch, particularly for apres-ski, and Peggy was a great host. We definitely will return!

Thank you for a wonderfull stay during last Aug. The property is nicely decorated and the hosts are wonderfull and interesting people who shared with us their life. it was a very calm place. everything was in a good order. The TV in the living room is a bit small and old but there are better ones in each room.The washing machine and dryer really helped us. We got some really good salmon in the supermarket and made it at home and it was delicious!! we highly recommand you to come and enjoy peggy's pine place!!

Peacefully living with two children, a teen and a "tween," necessitates having a certain amount of space and privacy both at home and on vacation. No resort or hotel can provide that at a reasonable price, which is why we often seek a rental property. Pine Place met our needs and more. Lake Placid has myriad rental options and many are owned or managed by an absentee landlord or realtor. We found communication with some to be sketchy and impersonal. Once we got in touch with Peggy, we were instantly sold on Pine Place! Peggy is a Lake Placid resident who is invested in her community. She responded to our inquiry very quickly and in a personable manner. Pine Place is adjacent to her home, and she very comfortably balances the right amount of hands-on and hands-off as your host. She interacted with us and our children as a next-door neighbor would, and made us feel welcome both in her property and in the community. As other reviews have stated, Pine Place is thoughtfully and carefully decorated and furnished; there’s nothing we needed that was not there. There’s even a slow cooker in the kitchen! It’s an easy walk or drive to Main Street, and it is near a “back” road on the outskirts of town, which made getting in and out by car very easy. A grocery store is a five minute drive away, as are several other “convenience” type stores. We didn’t go to Lake Placid to spend our days in the apartment, but if we had been trapped by the weather, Pine Place’s amenities and convenient location make it the perfect place to be. Perhaps the best endorsement of Pine Place came from our eight year old who at the end of each day asked when we were going home…not to our home…but back to Pine Place!

We've stayed here several times in the past, and have reservations for a week in October. Great location - a 4 block walk (over a hill) to Lake Placid's Main Street for restaurants and shopping. 2 bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, a small balcony, nice Adirondack decor. It makes a wonderful base for exploring the High Peaks of the Adirondack Mountains. It has a gravel driveway and a flight of stairs to get in, so it is not handicap accessible.

Excelente trato de parte de los dueños; una casa completa, sumamente limpia, con todo lo necesario. La cocina completamente equipada, lavadora y secadora y chimenea; muy bien ubicada en el hermoso Lake Placid. Recomiendo esta casa a cualquier familia que quiera pasar unas hermosas vacaciones como las pasamos nosotros. Inclusive se me quedó algo en la casa y la dueña me la envó por correo.
