***THE SPACE***
The views --- the breathtaking views are the heart of nahil penthouse. The master bedroom, master bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, infinity pool, and swim-up bar are all oceanfront. Situated on the secluded north end of this beautiful bay, Nahil penthouse overlooks the most spectacular stretch of turquoise water surrounded by coral reefs, powder white sands, and palm trees blowing in the breeze. From the bird's eye view of the penthouse you can literally see eagle rays and turtles swimming below, the occasional catamaran cruising by, and pelicans spying on you at eye level.
Decor --- from the moment you walk into Nahil penthouse you are struck with the delicate balance where ocean meets jungle, comfort transforms to beauty, and nature fades into elegance. This residence was custom designed to incorporate nature into a living work of art: showers made from corals, jungle trees sprouting from floor to ceiling, tiles embedded with fossils, and Mayan stones covering entire walls. Fall asleep to the lapping waves and wake up to nothing but Caribbean blue waters.
Bedrooms
The oceanfront master bedroom with its custom king size bed has an open layout where the main wall slides into itself, floor-to-ceiling double sliding doors open onto the terraza, and the over sized bathroom and double shower overlook the room and the brilliant turquoise waters below. Mayan stone walls, trees wrapped in strangler vines, corals sprinkled with shells, and natural slabs of wood are the building materials here.
The guest room overlooks the jungle treetops with a hanging king size bed made of natural trees and an en-suite bathroom laid-en with corals and shells.
A queen sized inflatable mattress is also available for use in the living room.
Kitchen --- the kitchen is equipped with a six-burner gas stove, over-sized fridge with french doors and ice-maker, keurig-style capsule coffee maker (dolce gusto), over sized dish sink with a separate vegetable washing sink, granite counter tops, breakfast bar, garbage disposal, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and drinkable water from the faucet and fridge.
Living room --- the living room has a large sectional sofa with chaise lounge, 46' flat screen with true surround sound, multi-media center preloaded with netflix, spotify, you tube, docking station for your own music, and multi room audio and ceiling speakers in all rooms. The space is surrounded by mayan stone walls with original art, jungle vines, and polished flooring which spills out onto the vast terraza. Every evening the automated mood lighting comes to life as the sun fades away.
***THE COMPLEX***
Pool & palapa --- a 45 foot infinity pool with jacuzzi-style seating, palm tree island, and sunken chaise lounges comprise some of the highlights. A spacious adjacent palapa is a great place to hide from the midday sun or enjoy a leisurely lunch.
***THE LOCATION***
Nahil is the only new condo complex in Akumal and is situated on an idyllic stretch of beach on half moon bay. There are few tourists walking by since it sits at the end of the bay, but is still within walking distance to the best that half moon bay and Akumal have to offer. It's a 10 minute stroll down the sand to the best beach bar in the area, la buena vida. A short 5 minute stroll in either direction gets you to beachfront dining at la lunita or Italian cuisine at the jungle setting of Que Onda. A mile by bicycle or car down the private road gets you back into the village of akumal, along with its fabulous shops and restaurants (Lol Ha, Turtle Bay, and La Taverna).

This fabulous waterfront penthouse was the perfect home base for exploring the area, and a terrific spot for just chilling and enjoying the view and access to turquoise water. We stayed here 11 days and I'm grateful that about halfway through our vacation I was finally able to forget what day it was. The unit itself is very nicely appointed and had three AC zones, which was perfect because my son and mom preferred cool temps, while I preferred to soak up the heat and humidity... particularly at night to the sound of the waves. The rooftop palapa was great fun, any time of day, and was a great lookout for admiring a lightning and thunderstorm. The people who maintain the property were all very hard working and incredibly friendly and helpful. The owner was very helpful and responded to all of my questions, from before arrival through our stay. I hope to return to this respite someday.

Absolutely gorgeous condo with jaw-dropping views
Looking for a nice place to stay, where you can see the ocean from bed, but don't want to be stuck in a resort, around thousands of other people? Wouldn't it be nice if awesome restaurants and activities were just a short pleasant walk away, yet your home base feels calm and away from it all?
Want to stay somewhere clean, safe, and with an owner and staff who are super friendly, organized and helpful? To one of those vacation places where everything is so gorgeous and well-done, you feel like you're staying in your own travel magazine article?
If that's what you're looking for, look no further, it's all right here. Michaela was super helpful from start to finish. Prompt, clear, helpful information. She's got everything covered (WiFi, washer/dryer, reef shoes, snorkel stuff, restaurant and activity recommendations, etc) and the place is simply fantastic. Seriously. This place has now usurped Singapore's Marina Bay Sands as my favorite place to take a shower, in the whole world.
Staff is friendly and helpful. The main tourist town of Akumal is just a lovely one mile walk away. Restaurants, shops and the Akumal Beach all within easy reach. A basic convenience store, and two awesome beachfront restaurants (La Lunita and La Buena Vida) are even closer (prob only around 400 yards and 800 yards away, respectively). We walked everywhere, and it was so nice to be able to smile and say hello to everyone we passed on the street. Always so nice to get back to that chill, friendly vibe of a smaller town.
The Akumal pueblo is just across the freeway (1.5 miles away) and is also nice to have to go grab some authentic delicious street food. We went to Cosme's Taqueria (3 meat platter, cooked up right in front of you, warm tortillas, tons of meat, enough for 2 people who tend to eat a lot, 350 pesos/~$18 USD) and a little hole in the wall place run by a nice little lady everyone calls Dona Marta (Mayan torta, 3 pork tacos, and a quesadilla all for 90 pesos/~$5 USD). I don't know how Dona Marta seasons her meats, but good gosh was it tasty. The pueblo has fantastic entire meals for tow people for less than you pay for a single drink at a resort.
Tulum was an easy 20 min drive away. We walked to Akumal Beach and saw turtles. Fish in the reef just outside the condo. Paddleboarded around in the calm bay. Read in the hammock while the watching the ocean change colors...
It was the perfect place to unwind, and be able to relax with your own million dollar views each and every day and night. Considering this place? Just book it now. You won't regret it.

Perfect!
We just returned from the most amazing week in this beautiful condo. The first thing that takes your breath away is the stunning ocean view along the entire rear wall. The condo itself is also beautifully decorated. The owners have thought of everything. They had coffee, creamer, sweetener, sugar,2 coffee pots-one regular pot and one Nescafe with pods, they had shampoo in the shower, a basket with sunscreen and bug spray, life jackets, water shoes, snorkeling masks (need to bring your own if u have them), 2 air mattresses that can be put on the rooftop if the wind allows, 2 bicycles, paddleboards,a first aid kit, a hair dryer, beach towels, plug ins for all your devices... The maid that came in every day, Reyna was so sweet! The security guard is on duty all night, very safe area. The whole staff is attentive and very friendly. The elevator was great too! The rooftop will blow your mind. There is also a beautiful terrace that we loved as much as the roof. We loved turning the air conditioner off in the bedroom and listening to the waves all night. You can even see the ocean from the huge double shower! The location is perfect, and doesn't get all the seaweed as the other areas of the bay. Riding around the bay on the golf cart we rented thru Adrian was a hightlight! Book this condo! You will not regret i!

Absolutely Amazing!
We were so sad to leave this very special town called Akumal. The people were so friendly to us, the food at all the restaurants was amazing (try the Havana Cuban Rice at La Buena Vida or the Panuchos del Pastor at Lol Ha), and the calm serenity and beauty were always all around us. We had planned on several day trips, but we only really did one… the ruins at Coba. They were great, but we couldn´t pull ourselves to leave Nahil and Akumal. We lounged on the beach every day, snorkeled at the lagoon next door once, and snorkeled right in front of the condo every day. We saw turtles, an eagle ray, tons of fish, schools of blue tang, and a cute family of squid. All of Michaela´s suggestions were spot on and really made every part of our trip perfect. We watched the sunset most nights from the rooftop deck and even had dinner there twice. Watching the colors change from the late afternoon to the evening may have been my favorite part. The home itself is just beyond words. Michaela and her husband really thought of everything and you will feel like royalty from the second you walk in. The master bedroom and bathroom could easily win an award. Between the rooftop, beach, pool, and awesome living room, we never knew which place to hang out in the most. We will never forget this vacation and are already looking into dates for our return this winter.

Excellent Location/Views
Took my son for college graduation and couldn't have been happier with this unit and the location. The pictures don't do it justice! The views are amazing and you are just steps from the beach and the pool. It's just a short walk down the beach to La Bueana Vida restaurant which was also awesome. The owners provided excellent communication and recommendations for our stay. All recommendations were spot on. Having access to the rooftop deck with 360 degree views was also wonderful. Has to be the best views of all Half Moon Bay from that rooftop. The unit is very clean and comfortable in all ways. The management company being next door is a plus and they were very helpful/friendly when we had questions. The area is quiet and peaceful as it is on the North end of Half Moon bay.
Rent with confidence here as it was better than advertised and the owners provided excellent communication. If I go back to Akumal this will be where I stay again!

BEAUTIFUL and RELAXING - Exactly what we were looking for!
We were looking for a change from the typical hustle and bustle of those large mega resorts. Akumal and Nahil #8 were exactly what we needed. The atmosphere of the area is very relaxed and super friendly. Plenty of things to do and places to explore. The condo exceeded our expectations. Simply breathtaking! And Mica was very responsive throughout the reservation and pre-arrival process, even providing us with lots of local information to help us plan our stay. The bikes and paddle boards were a nice touch too. Unfortunately Tropical Storm Cindy tried her best to derail our fun, but with no success. Though we never saw the sun during our stay, we still had lots of fun and plan to come back again soon. And when we do, rest assured we will be booking again at Nahil #8.

Peaceful PERFECTION! We didn't want to leave
Gorgeous place, comfortable, clean and quiet. I thought the view in the photos was amazing, but in real life, it was even better. There were two adjacent rooms with giant floor-to-ceiling windows/sliding doors in the family room and master bedroom overlooking the bay. (I thought one was a reflection, but it was actually the next room!). The master king-size bed was raised high for the best view of the water. There were convenient drawers underneath for storage. The master shower is open and huge with two shower heads and a handheld. There was a glass door with a beautiful frosted design in the toilet area. The double sinks had actual shells for faucets. You can even see the ocean while brushing your teeth.
The other bedroom was at the opposite end with a sliding door balcony overlooking greenery. Another king-size bed (suspended from ropes!). A separate smaller sink/toilet/shower room was off the second bedroom and convenient to the kitchen.
The kitchen was beautiful. High-end appliances. 6-burner stove, modern refrigerator, 2 sinks (one with filtered water), slide-out trash bin. Coffee machine was provided along with little coffee and tea pods, however there was no sugar/sweetener. I liked how there were spices and assorted pantry-type condiments already there.
Note: there is a Costco near the Cancun airport and a few Walmarts in the area, so you can pick up some basics. The Playa del Carmen Walmart was the closest. It had an underground parking lot. The yogurt was expensive, as was sunscreen, and the eggs were not refrigerated.

The owners provided a wealth of helpful info both ahead of time as well as with a binder in the condo, including where to go, what to do, where to eat, etc. Right on target. We had trouble finding one restaurant that was a "must do" and weren't able to get to the after-hours snorkel access. It's definitely worth it to read their advice.
They've thought of everything. The provided snorkel equipment was perfect. Bring your water shoes. The water is warm and shallow but uneven. Even bottles of sunscreen were provided. I also found a bin with insect spray, more sunscreen, and a variety of other useful items. I loved having convenient access to a washer and dryer. The small elevator was nice, too.
The private rooftop area was unique and amazing. A variety of chairs/sofa/ottoman to sit on plus a loft and a hammock. Gorgeous!

An amazing condo in beautiful Half Moon Bay
I can't say enough about our stay in Half Moon Bay. There were four of us (2 adult kids, my husband and me), and we had a fantastic time. These photos don't do the condo justice - it is truly unique, well maintained, and in a spectacular location. The owner was so responsive, both leading up to the vacation and even when we were there, sending us suggestions for dining, snorkeling, and other attractions. Everything she recommended was spot on, including contact info for a cook who came to the condo and cooked us a fantastic meal. We were looking for a quiet place, near the charming town and restaurants in Akumal, but without a tourist vibe. And that's exactly what we got. I would go back again in a minute. You'll love it.

This is one beautiful place you have to experience for yourself!
This gorgeous beachfront property was beyond our expectations. My husband and I and our two daughters had heard about this adorable town and wanted to give our children a unique experience. We were not disappointed. We felt so at home in this beautiful penthouse and loved all of the special touches. The lighting is gorgeous and the view, breathtaking. The convenience of having a full kitchen was so helpful with our daughters and there were plenty of great places to dine when we felt like going out. We had an opportunity to go on a sunset sail, visit the Mayan ruins at Coba, swim with the turtles and snorkel right outside our place. Unbelievable!
