This apartment has been refurbished and redecorated in September 2020. The apartment has a lounge, kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a bouble bed and a single bed. The second bedroom has two single beds. We are situated in the beautiful and historic conservation area of Southend-on-Sea less than 12 minutes walk from Southend Central Station and the High Street with loads of bars and restaurants. We are just 2 minutes walk from the lovely Cliff Gardens that lead down to the sea. My place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Parking permits are £6 per day and they do make parking a lot easier!

Excellent accommodation!
We arrived at the flat and were shown around by our very welcoming host. The flat is lovely- clean and spacious in a quiet area and very close to local attractions. The flat has everything you need and Malcolm was very helpful and on hand if we needed anything at all. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be returning.

Not what we expected
Perhaps we have too high expectations but this property was detailed as having been refurbished and redecorated in September 2020 but looked like this was only lick of paint and new carpets.We had my 80+ mother with us and this property is not appropriate for anyone with any level of limited mobility or for those with young children unless they are supervised constantly.
Unfortunately there were several aspects that did not meet our expectations, namely: steep stairwell with no handrail or barrier at the top, bathroom flooring not fitted well so a trip hazard, no handrails around the bath as the shower was over the bath, kitchen oven/oven pan/window blind not clean and shower curtain/bath plughole dirty.
The owner was a very nice and engaging man and the property is in great location for getting into Southend. Parking was on-street but payment is required over and above the cost of renting the flat. Parking spaces are on a 'first come first served' basis.
Considering we are still in a pandemic situation I would have liked to have felt that the property was safe and clean. However, this was not the case.

Good Location
Good location suited us perfectly for Southend on Sea.
Property clean and ready for us.
Accommodating host.
All in would recommend.

Only stayed four days, but very enjoyable, good location, good value well equipped apartment, would use again.
