Welcome to Fort Rock Cabin, a brand-new refuge purposefully built to be the base camp for your next mountain adventure. Whilst only a short 5-minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Blackheath's village center and train station, the cabin has world renowned clifftop bush walks and escarpment at your doorstep.
Equally appropriate for a quick weekend in the mountains or a longer stay, the cabin has been constructed to the highest standard, including double glazing to keep you comfortable all year around. Unwind in front of the wood fire and showcase your culinary talents in the fully equipped chef's kitchen complete with black granite benches, coffee machine and euro appliances. The property also features split system air-conditioning, ceiling fans, fly screens and a full laundry.

A little slice of heaven in the mountains
I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Fort Rock Cabin.
The accommodation is beautifully modern, high end appliances and appointments had my partner and I exchanging "oooh' noises as we walked through the cabin admiring the tasteful design choices, and taking in the cosy, welcoming atmosphere that makes winter getaways the most special holidays.
Our Saturday snuggled up by the fireplace with snacks and a movie after a long day out taking in the spectacular Blue Mountains scenery was wonderful and I can't wait for next Winter to do it all again.
Jen and Ian have done an incredible job making this little slice of heaven and were beyond lovely at every stage, making it simple to organise a perfect winter weekend. Thank you both again.

Warm and welcoming
Lovely accommodation in the Blue Mountains. The fire was perfect, the under floor heating in the bathroom a delight. Very comfortable bed and all the mod cons that you could wish for. Thankyou for the chocolate.
Very close to some lovely walks and fresh air.

Amazing!
This place absolutely beautiful! I stayed with my partner for 2 weeks and we loved it! It’s near the town and train station, and the walking trails are close by. It had everything we needed.
The fire worked a treat for the cold nights.
Highly recommend! This place is truly amazing!

Modern cabin in the mountains
My wife, two children and I enjoyed a delightful weekend at Fort Rock cabin. The cabin is modern, bright, spotless and very well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing break in the mountains. Fantastic coffee machine, rain shower and log burner, the beds were very comfortable and our kids loved the bunks!
Very convenient stroll into Blackheath for fabulous cafes, bakery, book shop, art galleries, and a lovely fruit shop.
We would highly recommend Fort Rock cabin, I’m sure we’ll be back!
Jen & Ian are lovely hosts too.

Wonderful. Delightful. Great hosts.
The photos don't do Fort Rock Cabin justice. Beautifully designed, spacious, snug and cosy. Great location.
A wonderful fire, plenty of wood.
Great shower and bathroom. Very comfy main bedroom.
(We didn't use the 2nd bedroom, with its bunk beds. But it looked beautifully designed, like everything else.)
Really well-provisioned kitchen. Any time I thought 'I could use one of those ... ', I'd open a drawer or cupboard - and there it was. A joy to cook there.
And the hosts, Jen and Ian. They could not have been more accommodating. A delight to deal with. Well done those two on being so welcoming,
Absolutely would recommend. You won't be disappointed.

Perfect stay in a perfect location.
Fort Rock Cabin was absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location, central to all of the attractions in the blue mountains. When you couple this with the way Jen and Ian make you feel more than welcome, it's nothing short of perfect. The comfortable little cabin was well suited for the cold nights with a warm fire and comfortable bed. The cabin had everything we required for a long weekend stay. I could not rate Jen and Ian any higher, they were an absolute pleasure to deal with and we will be booking with them in the future!

Winter haven with bush walks at the doorstep.
Funky little cottage accommodation with a great fire for those winter day/nights. Set straight off the bush walking tracks. Shops and restaurants are only a short drive. Owners are lovely and easy to deal with. We'll visit again!!

Wintertime staple
Wonderfully appointed modern, cozy cabin a short walk from Blackheath. Close to beautiful walks and the absolute best of the Blue Mountains. Jen & Ian were fantastic hosts and made my daughter and I most welcome. The log burner did its job perfectly in the wintry weather. Likely to become a wintertime staple.

Fantastic Fort Rock
If you are looking for the perfect place to stay when visiting the Blue Mountains, Fort Rock Cabin is definitely it! Great location, beautiful surroundings and accommodation that has everything you need. Jen and Ian are warm and friendly and we’re available to answer any questions we had.

Fort Rock Cabin - great for a weekend getaway!
We stayed at lovely Fort Rock Cabin for our wedding anniversary weekend away, and could not have been happier! Such a warm and inviting space, the cabin felt very homely and had all the finishing touches. Located a short distance from Blackheath train station and local restaurants and shops, it’s the perfect place to escape to in the mountains. The hosts Jen and Ian couldn’t have been lovelier! We have recommended Fort Rock to our friends already and will definitely be back.
