Wonderful place; exactly as described! About a 20 minute drive from the parks but perfect if you plan to spend the day out and about. Set back in the woods at the end of a private drive. Neighbors were out of site and could sit on the deck to enjoy the nature surroundings. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay, it was a lot of fun. The kids were able to enjoy it as well.

Courtney the host was extremely prompt in responding and polite in her replies. The property was clean and very comfortable. The bedrooms were small but did not bother us. Lighting maybe better in the living room but it might just be personal preference. Others might like it just the way it is. The property is fairly secluded in a cul-de-sac. Having permanent gas connection for the grill is great and convenient. Hot tub is good. The location is very convenient to all the attractions in Hocking hills state park. We had a wonderful family time. We will be back.

The cabin was beautiful and exactly as described. The location is nice and most trails are just a short drive away. There are other cabins around but we still felt secluded. We really enjoyed the daily visits from deer and a relaxing break from our normal day to day routine. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to make a couple simple meals. This is a very kid friendly cabin and the extra amenities for kids was appreciated. There was a power outage in the area when we first arrived and the owner was very quick to respond and kept me updated on the status. Lucky for us, it was resolved within a few hours. Prior to our stay, the owner answered all of my questions and was very helpful in our planning. My overall rating was 4 stars, there were just a few minor things that would have put this over the top and made it a 5 star cabin in my opinion. First, having board games and some toys available for kids is a nice touch BUT when we went check out what games were there so we could play one, the pieces to all games, cards, everything was just thrown into the drawer and no longer in the correct box. While I feel this is a result of inconsiderate previous renters, it should be checked and re-organized. I'm not spending my vacation sorting all that out so I just shut that drawer and we watched a movie instead. Second - while this is fully communicated, I think a one towel allowance per guest is a little stingy...especially when there is a hot tub. There are many other cabins that have a basket of towels by the hot tub. Little things like this always factor into my decision of whether or not I'll come back to the same cabin. Extra towels are a nice touch. Finally, and this shouldn't be an issue for anyone else, but the owners were in the process of replacing the chandelier in the main room and it couldn't get installed before our stay. Even with the couple lamps, it was kind of dark in that room (our not so great weather didn't help with natural light). We were notified of this issue prior to our stay and I understand the issues with subcontractor availability but the lack of light was noticeable during our stay. Overall it was very nice and we enjoyed our time here.

Everything was perfect for our trip with three adults and six kids! The kids loved the hot tub. The views were amazing! A little bit of a drive to Old Man’s Cave, but we even enjoyed the drive! Very clean and plenty of space for all of us!

This home was perfect for our first trip to Hocking Hills. The check in process was simple, the home was clean, and the beds were so comfortable. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of hiking. This house seemed to be 20 minutes from everything. I already called a friend and told her if she comes to Hocking Hills she has to stay here. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

The property was very clean and very close to the zipline and major trails. We had a great time!

We normally do a family trip for Christmas instead of gifts. With not traveling last year due to Covid and the unpredictability of traveling this year because of it we decided last minute to stay somewhere close and include our immediate family. We celebrated Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with everyone and had an amazing time. We also lucked out with weather and we were close to Old Mans Cave and The Rock House. The cabin was perfect. Cozy but enough space for all of us. It was very clean and close to everything.

My family had a wonderful time in the Hocking Hills area. Please note on this house: ELECTRIC fireplace (meaning a light projected flame) inside an actual fireplace, no access to washer and dryer (we were there for 6 nights….. have never rented a VRBO and not had access to a W/D) and the third “bedroom” is not a legal bedroom (no windows). The hot tub was great. The main room was nice but new light bulbs are needed in the overhead lighting.
