We had a gorgeous, totally chilled and relaxing five night stay over Christmas in the beautiful Threshing Barn. Warm and toasty on arrival, complete with Christmas tree and decorations.. the photo's don't do it justice. An amazing living space and absolutely immaculate throughout. Super, well equipped kitchen with absolutely everything we needed for a Christmas break away ~ a complete home from home. The log burner came into it's own on the dark December evenings, especially after being out for the day in the rain and cold. A great base for exploring further afield, we visited Eden, Fowey and Golitha falls ~ and had a great breakfast at The Lookout in Looe. It's hands down one of the best places we've stayed in and will definitely be back. If you're looking for a stunning quality self-catering stay in this beautiful part of Cornwall, stop searching and book.. you won't regret it.

We had a wonderful stay at Threshing Barn. The property was clean, warm, well finished and child-friendly. The beds were comfy and hot tub very enjoyable as the weather turned cooler. Many thanks Graham and Jane

We stayed here for a week and had a very comfortable stay. The cottage is beautiful, tastefully decorated and ample space for kids. It’s very clean and has everything one might need.
We enjoyed the hot tub which was also kept very clean and at a perfect temperature for summer evenings.
It’s well located and we got to explore the area everyday during the stay.

A week in Cornwall for three couples. The Threshing Barn is amazingly appointed, super spacious and everything you could want for a getaway. The hot tub and log burner are definitely highlights. A wonderful welcome pack on arrival with fresh eggs and local produce is the sort of touch that Hosts Graham and Jane make things that little bit special. Well located for a peaceful stay just three miles from Looe, makes exploring the Cornish south coast very accessible. Highly recommended, and a five stars from me.

Lovely place, really homely & cosy with good quality fittings, lots of space to have time together and chill on your own in a nook. Would highly recommend. Very private hot tub, can enjoy the amazing stars at night. Great location. Easy to get to most places with good A and B roads. Adrenaline quarry is great fun! lovely walks at Seaton, pretty shops at Fowey. Fish and chips 5 mins down the road.

We stayed at the Threshing Barn cottage in East Trenean Farm for a week and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family holiday/ stay in Cornwall. The cottage itself is situated in an ideal location for covering most places in Cornwal with a max driving distance of 1.5 hrs to either the west or north Cornwall coast. In particular we enjoyed the private hot tub which was very relaxing to use after a long day visiting places. Also adjacent to the cottage there is a large playing area which is perfect to keep the little ones occupied. I would definitely go back and stay here again in the future. Thanks, Jane and Graham for all your help during our stay. Appreciate it!! Look forward to seeing you again soon.

Lovely barn style cottage, very clean and well appointed. Good location for those that want to explore. Great beaches well within reach.
Couple of thoughts - check in and departure times could be a bit more generous. Not enough toilet roll or dishwasher tablets provided for a family of five without supplementation, which is always a bugbear. Covid protocols for departure feel outmoded now and are too severe - reduces the sense of customer service - I don’t think it’s right to ask for all beds to be stripped and towels essentially washed.
Had a good week. A few tweaks to the offer would provide a more customer focussed experience for the price.
