Croftlee Cottage Ardtun, Mull
Lovely cottage, very comfortable. Handy for the ferry for Iona and Staffa, both well worth a visit. Lots of walks nearby and some nice beaches too. Amenities in the cottage were of good standard. Nice touch with bird seed to feed the garden birds. We enjoyed our visit and the cottage was just right for us.

A lovely, cosy cottage with everything we needed.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, the bed was comfy and we enjoyed watching the birds out of the living room window. We had a really lovely stay and it was a good base to explore the south of Mull.

Idyllic well appointed cottage.
We returned to Croftlee and we were delighted to find the newly refurbished kitchen and lots of new crockery, bed linen, towels and flooring, even better than before. We are always cosy and comfortable in this delightful cottage and love its tranquility. As there are no eating places around we bring our own food and enjoy eating in. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area.

We would like to point out to others that there are a number of eating places in the area( sometimes seasonal).There is also a licensed general store in the nearby village

Perfect cottage!
We have been coming to Croftlee every couple of years since 2003, which tells you how much we love it! The location is quiet, with stunning views. The cottage has everything you need: comfortable good quality furniture and a well equipped kitchen. It is kept spotlessly clean and always well maintained.

Lovely, cosy cottage with wonderful views
We stayed for a week in this lovely, cosy and spotlessly clean cottage which was dog friendly. The views from the cottage were spectacular. Even though the weather wasn't very good we went out every day visiting various places on Mull. Bunessan was a lovely little village only 2 minutes away, with a Spar shop, Post Office and a Charity shop which was like Aladdin's cave. Carsaig and Urskin Beaches were magical. We went out on Mull Charters run by Martin and Alex and my husband got wonderful photos of several White Tailed Sea Eagles.
A relaxing, rejuvenating holiday. Thanks to Lorna and Donald.

Perfect Mull retreat

ideal place to stay in the south of Mull
Peaceful location of a well equipped ground floor easy access cottage . Off road parking next to cottage . New & tasteful bedroom linen & comfy bed. Extra touches like a lovely flower arrangement & bird food provided. A private short but slightly rough walk to the coast with great views of the Burg. Used local shop in Bunessan . Sunday service 11am up hill in Bunessan very welcoming. Used the car to explore the south of island : enjoyed otters , eagles, & weather permitted some outdoor picture painting. A great holiday.

Get away from it all in this cosy, well-equipped cottage in peaceful location
We loved our week in this comfortable cottage with beautiful views of the Burg of Mull and Loch Scridain. A great base to explore the south of Mull and Iona. Stunning beaches to visit and lots of lovely walks. Cottage was immaculate and well-equipped with a lovely welcome pack, including bird seed - a nice touch! Bunessan and Fionnphort a short drive away, with easy ferry access to Iona. Enjoyed spotting local wildlife and enjoyed the welcome break from phone signal and wifi.

Perfect clean cosy and comfortable accommodation
The cottage is situated in a lovely area which is very quiet and private. The accommodation has been very well equipped with everything required for self-catering. The weather was very mixed and the owners Lorna and Donald kindly invited us to their house where we enjoyed a lovely meal in their very pleasant company. The only problem with the area is that there is virtually no wiifii available. Even in the local hotel it was a hit or miss if you received a signal. The locals I believe are most unhappy about this and have been hoping that some day soon they will have a more reliable connection. This must have some effect on local tourism as today everyone expects to have a connection to the internet!
