Manly Beach is one beach but actually has 3 names - at the south end, closest to the wharf (and hence visitors via the city) is South Steyne, commonly known as Manly (behind this is Eastern Hill), the centre of the beach is North Steyne and at the northern end of Manly beach is Queenscliff (with less crowds and noise as it is located further from the wharf and influx from the city).
There is so much to do around Manly:- activities include, swimming, surfing, kayaking, paddling, para-sailing, sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing, fishing, snorkelling and more. There are numerous small boutiques, art galleries, cafes, restaurants, Ocean World Aquarium, cinema, bicycle hire, skate board and roller blade hire, playgrounds, parks, scenic bush walks, library, day spas, golf clubs, tennis court...
We have a private secure lock up garage with automatic opener for your use. It is long but rather narrow but has room for storage and also contains 2 bicycles and 2 razor scooters for your enjoyment. Due to our location you don't really need a car. The bus stops just across the road and it is less than 2 minutes walk to the beach and about 5 minutes walk to shops, cafes and restaurants etc. A 15-20 minute walk along the Manly foreshore will bring you to Manly wharf and ferries into the city, Watsons Bay etc.
Buses run regularly and can take you to the Wharf, the city, Warringah Mall shopping Plaza, Chatswood and to the northern beaches (e.g. Palm Beach) and many other destinations.
