If you are wanting to celebrate a special occasion with a large group, then Maldon Eaglehawk Hotel is the place to go. Perfect to celebrate 30 years of friendship.
Spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen, amazing dining room and bar area and a beautiful sunroom. The gardens were lovely. We had the most relaxing and laughter filled time there and being able to organize a chef was fantastic. The meal was gorgeous as were the surroundings. Definitely a place we would come back to.

beautiful country weekend stay
Just perfect. We had my mother's 80th birthday weekend with space for all the family to stay. The decor was splendid and plenty of separate spaces including the lovely garden. We had one night catered but the kitchen has everything you want plus more, only downside is there is only one fridge available as the bar fridge is not open for use unless holding a function. We had eskies for the drinks. The monthly Maldon markets were on and a short, easy walk away.

Wonderful !!!
We are a group of 5 women who stayed 2 nights in this beautiful hotel. Everything you needed was there and more. We were there for a sewing retreat and everything was set up for us eg: tables, cords, ironing board, lights etc. The garden was lovely to sit and have a cuppa or a wine. We will be back again and would not hesitate to recommend this superb hotel...just beautiful.

Wow!
A group of 9 ladies headed to Eaglehawk Hotel for our 3 night quilting retreat, and as soon as we walked through the doors there were so many oohs and aahs in every room we entered!
Truely the photos on the websites look great but do not do this place justice! It is so spacious, beautifully decorated with quirky touches everywhere. We self catered and had so much food we could have stayed another two days, and if the ladies had a choice they certainly would have, no one was in a hurry to head home as the ambience of this place was so welcoming and relaxing.
Between lots of eating in the fully equipped kitchen we did actually get some sewing done and the craft room was great with plenty of table space lighting and power boards available.
We were all in agreement that we will definitely be back! ( maybe not as much food next time 😜)
Correspondence with Mark was easy and prompt.
This venue is great for small groups or family gatherings.

APPROX 50TH BBF REUNION
10 of us enjoyed two nights at this magnificent old hotel. Everything we needed to self cater. Enjoyed coffee & lunch in Maldon.

Wonderful family weekend get away.
Eaglehawk Country House Hotel is a beautiful place to stay. Everything was perfect for our family stay. There were 7 adults and the home had everything we needed. Scrupulously clean, so much space,beds very comfortable,lovely kitchen.
Maldon was a really pretty country towm with some great shops.
I would highly reccommend a stay at Eaglehawk.

AMAZING!
After 2.5 years in the making, we finally got away for our girls weekend and it was worth the wait! The accommodation certainly has the WOW factor from the artwork to the furnishings to the gardens and the overall spaciousness and feel of the hotel. The hotel was extremely well equipped, with comfortable beds and little extras – attention to detail is beyond expectations. A short walk to town which is full of character and friendly people. Congratulations Ken and Mark on creating this stunning accommodation.

A wonderful, quirky venue for a reunion of old school friends.
A lovely inviting retreat which allowed us, a group of old school friends, to come together as we explored the golden history of Maldon and surrounds. The decor was fun and tasteful, the kitchen was excellent, the dining area lavish and the sun-room a retreat where conversation occasionally drifted into afternoon naps as we basked in the July sun. Our hosts were clear in their "how it works" instructions and responsive to our queries. Thanks Ken and Mark for a lovely stay...

Breathtaking and tranquil accommodation for a group.
After two years of lockdowns and four other attempts to stay our group of nine finally made it to this stunning accommodation. The photos on the website are amazing but in reality it was just fantastic. The artwork, decor, light fittings, beds and garden to name but a few.
This group have been going away together for twenty five years and all agreed it was by far the best accommodation we had ever had.
We had planned on eating out one night but decided we just wanted to stay put. For the two days and nights we were there no one even turned on a tv.
Thank you Ken and Mark, we shall return.

At last
Lockdown has been tough and finally we made it to our getaway after being postponed 3 times. It was well worth the wait as we have been looking forward to it all year. Communication has been excellent as we all tried to keep up with lockdown changes and extensions. Maldon is a lovely little town and we walked into town for dinner on both nights for a great pub meal. The Hotel is amazing with great furnishings, decor and beautiful garden. The kitchen is so well equipped with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a great time away with friends. Lots of room for everyone.
