We searched and searched for a secluded vacation spot for our family to get together safely with our 83 year old mother during the Pandemic. I came across photos of this beautiful quaint ranch house in Bandera. The pictures sold me on this place but I communicated with Max and Greg just to make sure it had all the things my family was looking for....grills, stove, deer, games, internet, cable, 2 full baths, pots and pans, washer and dryer, and pet friendly. We brought our spices and all paper products including toilet paper and paper towels , just in case the house did not have those. Not to worry...it had all those and more cooking tools than I could imagine!! We used our products first and used some spices we did not bring. It was especially nice to have the washer and dryer. There was even laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Our favorite activites were feeding the deer in the morning and evening and ringing the dinner bell The house is quaint with a lot of character. All rooms are decorated as an old ranch house would have been decades ago. We felt like we stepped back in time. We cannot say enough about Max and Greg. They always answered our texts or calls, both before and during our stay. Definitely returning.

Deer view in all directions from inside the cabin. Did horseback riding on the Cortez Ranch was great, state park with LOTS of hiking trails and plenty of restaurants in the area.
