We normally holiday in hotels, but, as we have a teenager we needed that extra space for privacy.
We were not disappointed, the apartment was immaculately clean and had everything you needed, even down to shopping bags for groceries.
It was nice on arrival to have some milk, water and a bottle of wine, beer in the fridge complementary.
There were a few bits I presume were left by previous guests, as in washing up liquid, tea bags that we put to good use, and we also left a few bits, washing powder, coffee, toilet rolls, sugar etc.
The balcony was huge, and as other reviews have said a sun trap all day.
Air conditioning was very handy to have in the hot climate, as well as the ceiling fans in the main bedroom and lounge.
WiFi very good, we brought our Amazon fire stick with us when we needed time out of the sun and this worked well on the TV.
Plenty of towels left as well.
The grounds around the apartment are immaculate, we didn’t use the pool, but, we noticed they are very strict about ball games etc in the pool.
The rules were all listed near the pool, and we also spotted someone being told off for having a ball, it looked like a lifeguard?. I would say the pool was for a bit of swimming and socialising, rather than a children’s play pool.
The scent of the flowers at night when walking through the gardens were lovely.
We were worried about not having a safe, but, the apartment is very secure and the access gates are always locked, so we had no cause for concern.
If you struggle with the stairs there is a small lift, which we used for our cases.
We packed far too many clothes, with having a washing machine and the sun to dry them, we could of packed less.
It’s about a good 20 minute walk to the marina, but, you don’t notice it, as so much to see and plenty of restaurants about, in fact we enjoyed the walk.
There is a large supermarket to the left once out of the gates of the apartment, and, across the road from the supermarket, there is a pharmacy and also a small supermarket selling British products.
Any one with young children may find that British supermarket handy, as were struggling to buy orange squash, as most Spanish supermarkets only sell fruit juices, but, the British supermarket stocks different flavours of squash.
We had pre booked a return taxi in the UK (suntransfers.com).
We paid €56.39 for the return journey, this price included assistance with luggage, but unfortunately we didn’t have help, so I think you can have it cheaper without help. We were also told to wait on the path to collect us for our return journey home, rather than help us from the apartment to the taxi.
The traffic was horrendous going to the apartment, the driver couldn’t find the apartment despite giving him the full address, so we contacted Ann the property manager, and she helped us find it.
We would use suntransfers again, as we did receive text confirmation, confirming our bookings and they were reliable, (they turned up) but, we wouldn’t add on the extra cost to help with our cases.
For our return journey it took to the about 15 minutes to the airport.
I’ve attached of photo of where the property is near, so if this happens to you, you have a visual of where the apartment is located from the road.
I feel there is no need to attach photos of the apartment, as all the photos on TA are exactly how the apartment is.
We had a wonderful time and would definitely return to this apartment.
