The impressive photos do not do this apartment justice. This is a genuine 3 double bed property with very large and high-end living space - ample kitchen, two large sofas and a huge dining area. It is dual aspect with a wrap-around balcony overlooking the mountains. We travelled in a camper and the host was kind enough to make parking available. There is a boot room with a locker where we stored equipment for 6 skiers. This is not your typical cramped rental property. It is a short walk to the slopes where you can ski down to a mid-mountain lift taking you to another that accesses the top of the mountain, so we had no fighting with the crowds at the bottom. All in all, we had a great time.

We booked this apartment for two weeks over the 2021 Christmas break. We weren’t certain what we would be coping with given the rise in COVID, and we truly enjoyed our time in Meribel. The apartment is charming, very efficient, with everything our family of four needed for a pleasant stay. We were able to celebrate Christmas Eve with friends at the large dining table and enjoyed the views out onto the mountains as well. Furnishings are all new, stylish, and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. We spent more time dining at home than we would normally due to Covid, and we found everything we needed for food preparation and serving. The apartment has a large outdoor space with balconies overlooking the mountains – would be lovely for outside dining or sunbathing. The bedrooms are all cozy and efficient, with places to stow baggage, etc., It was also nice to have the washing machine, there is no dryer but there are places to dry clothing throughout the apartment. The apartment is ideally located near Rond Point with a small grocery store, bakery and butcher (who also sold prepared foods) within walking distance from the apartment. There are also several restaurants and bars within walking distance and a bus that can take you into Meribel. The walk to skiing uphill on icy sidewalks with ski boots on was initially rough, until we discovered a cut through on the right side of the road which allowed you to ski down through some other chalets. Our favorite night in Meribel was New Year’s Eve, we took a snow cat up the mountain from Rond Point to the restaurant Le Monchu for a fantastic dinner and fireworks. Very memorable and a perfect capper to our fortnight spent in France. Overall, it was a great place for us to stay, and Catheline was a gracious host who was accessible to us throughout out stay for any questions we might have.

Close to everything and great for skiing or just relaxing. We had a fantastic stay and would return. Accommodation is clean and with great views and convenience is perfect.

We spent a great week in this appartment. It is very well equipped, to a much higher standard than you would expect for a ski resort flat. We went with 2 young kids (age 1 and 4) and 4 adults and found the place very practical for that purpose: some bedrooms are far from the living room which helps to have the kids asleep while having a noisy raclette dinner! The access to the shops and bus stop is a 2 mins walk which is easily manageable even with young kids. You can also ski down from there to the Chaudanne but need to catch a bus (for only 1 stop) or walk for 10 minutes if you want to go to the rond point/ESF classes. We enjoyed the very generous south facing terrace a lot. We will definitely go back and will recommend that flat to our friends.

Tres bel appartement. Quelques soucis pour la cuisine. Pas de mode d'emploi pour le micro-onde...donc pas possible de s'en servir, et le four est en piteux état et enfume tout l'appartement. Sinon Belle décoration moderne. Tres belle terrasse et au calme.

The apartment was very comfortable, warm and well positioned with views to the south over the Meribel Valley. Access to the slopes is not too bad. You have the choice of a 5 min walk to the bus stop which either goes up to Rond Pont (next stop) or down to the Chaudane area (8-10 mins) which is the main area for ski lessons and lifts etc. From Rond Pont you can ski down to Chaudane area. The 0845 bus gets you to Rond Pont for 0850 and a 5 min ski down to Chaudane ensures access to first lift at 0900 or ski lessons, which ESF start at 0915. Buses are every 20 mins. Walk a little further up the hill past the bus stop (10 min walk in total from the apartment) and you can access the slope directly without taking the bus. The apartment is on the 4th floor and in the block of apartments furthest to the left (downhill) of the shops etc. The ski locker on the ground floor and the parking on minus 1 level all work fine. We took a little while to find the parking bay and a small map would have been helpful - its the last bay on the left on the minus 1 level. The apartment is beautifully warm, with modern fittings, great showers and comfortable beds. We found the kitchen to be a little small and slightly short of utensils i.e no casserole dish with lid or sharp knives, (there were 7 frying pans though...;-). The apartment block is well maintained, and we experienced no noise or unsocial neighbours. In all we had a lovely stay, would recommend the apartment and the owner was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Merci Beaucoup!

This apartment was fantastic for our family's first European ski holiday! My wife and two girls stayed in the apartment, and we had plenty of room. The finishes and amenities in the apartment are beautiful, and the windows and porch look onto the mountains across the valley. Every morning before skiing, we would sit together, eat breakfast, and take in the beautiful view. The apartment has a ski locker on the bottom floor, and the bus to Rond Point and Meribel Centre is a short walk (~100m). Unlike other apartments, this one is situated up the mountain, so the bus isn't crowded or full as most people stay further down the mountain and toward the valley. Near the bus stop, there are two fantastic restaurants (Le Cepe and Le CroMagnon), a bakery where we purchased bread and croissants every day, three different ski shops that rent equipment, and a small market that has all of the basics. Our only issue was that the apartment hadn't yet been cleaned on our day of arrival, but the owner was able to contact the cleaning crew and have the apartment cleaned quickly while my family and I stepped out to rent our ski equipment. We highly recommend this apartment, and would certainly visit it again in the future! We should also mention that the ski shop that we used (InterSport Rond Point, which is near the Sherpa Market and bakery) was organized, very helpful, and took very good care of us. We would recommend using them for ski equipment rental as well.

Stunning apartment with unrivalled views and the sunsets were amazing. The apartment was really large and extremely well equipped none of this bare minimum with crockery and cutlery or cooking utensils, there was more than enough space and equipment for 5 large adults. The dining area had a huge dining table that could easily seat 8. We really liked all the homely touches, like the candles. The beds were lovely and just the right firmness and the duvets were great. The towels were lovely and soft and the biggest one wasn't skimpy, like you normally get and there was a decent set for each guest including a wash mitt. The showers were FAB both large walk-in types with huge rain forest shower heads. We never had a problem with running out of hot water as is so common with rental apartments there was always enough for the 4 skiers of the party to have a long hot shower on their return from the slopes and then enough to do some washing in a very modern machine. Everything was very colour co-ordinated and nothing seemed to be old, there is even a Bluetooth speaker which was great. It was also nice to have 2 dedicated parking spaces with one of them being a garage. The pictures really don’t do the apartment justice, the owners have thought of everything, it was a true home from home. A must try is the Boulangerie just up the road, the Pain Au Raisins are to die for. The Sherpa is basic but adequate and there is a larger grocery store in Meribel village, just a short Free bus ride away. The staff in the lower ski shop are very helpful. We also ate at ‘Le Cepe’ and although not cheap the food was fantastic. The only negative thing that we could find was that the ski locker room wasn't heated. We can't wait to book this great apartment again.

Très bel appartement. Décoré avec goût. Tout confort et bien situé. 10 minutes à pied des pistes. Commerces fermés à côté car les pistes ferment à la fin de la semaine mais tout est praticable en voiture à cette saison. A recommander.

Great flat, lovely views, 150m from the slopes. What made our stay was the quality and size and the flat plus the ease of use re the ski/boot room, using the garage before the flat was ready to store our fit and the facilities within the flat. For a French flat, it was more spacious than many others we have rented with a good spec and quality re fixtures and fittings. Two lovely showers plus a decent sized bath, two loos and a large dining room table - plenty of room for the 6 of us.
