What a find !! Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location in the heart of the Pueblo. Exactly as described, typically Spanish and rustic. We found it had absolutely everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. We enjoyed lazy mornings on the sunny terrace with a coffee before venturing out into either the Pueblo which has many wonderful restaurants or down to the Playa. The bus services are regular and reliable so no need to hire a car if, like us, you didn’t want to. Garrucha is a lovely working fishing port easily accessible, were we found some lovely tapas bars. Huge thank you to owners who provided us with all the knowledge we needed and always responded promptly to any questions we had. And also Claudiu and his wife Simone who were always on hand if we needed anything.. which we didn’t as everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a ‘Brits abroad’ karaoke type of holiday this certainly is not for you. But if you want a more Spanish experience in a beautiful setting full of friendly locals then this is a must. Which reminds me… how could I forget to mention La Pavana !! This lovely little bar, just around the corner from the apartment, became our regular place where we met some lovely people. You could never be lonely here, even if you’re a solo traveller, everyone is just so lovely. Thanks again, we will definitely be back 🙂

Casa tradicional con grandes vistas
Ubicada en el centro de Mojácar pueblo, muy cerca de todo. La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días, eso sí, las escaleras de acceso no son para todos los públicos (mejor ir ligero de equipaje). Fantástica la terraza y las vistas al mar. El trato con los propietarios fue muy bueno: estuvieron interesados en darnos todo tipo de información para que nuestra estancia fuera perfecta.

Perfect Pueblo home
It’s rare to stay somewhere where you’re left with the impression that your hosts truly want you to have a perfect stay rather than make money from you and our hosts achieved this with ease. The accommodation was tastefully decorated, charming and comfortable. Facilities are good and the terrace has a good mixture of sun and shade from which to take in the stunning views of mountains and sea. Situation in the pueblo is great with restaurants and a little supermarket close by. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Mojacar

The perfect Casa in the ideal location.
The location of the house is perfect, right in the heart of the Pueblo and everything within a short walk.All we needed for the perfect stay was provided icluding beach towels/mats for time on the beach, and a selection of books/DVDs for chilling out later. The owners were happy for our daughter to join us for a few days which made our stay complete. We'll certainly visit again!

Lovely apartment, great location
A lovely, pretty apartment right in the centre of Mojacar Pueblo, very convenient for all the shops, restaurants and bars. The terrace has a stunning view and we spent many a happy lunchtime eating at the apartment and not venturing out until the evening. Mojacar Player is also easily accessible, being only a short bus ride away. Chris and Gerry were extremely helpful and were very quick to respond to all communications. Great apartment - highly recommended.

Wonderful setting
This clean, attractive village house is very well situated within the village, close to shops, bus, restaurants and market. The view from the balcony beats the best restaurant view and the locals are helpful and friendly
Chris and Gerry, the owners were unfailingly helpful and were easy to contact, they really seemed to want us to enjoy their apartment and holiday and we certainly did.
We have not given 5 stars only because of the access which is via uneven stairs with no handrail. We managed but feel people need to be aware when booking.

This apartment is situated in the heart of the village. It is light, bright and airy and has a balcony that looks out to the sea and mountains. It is very comfortable, the bed is a king size in the main bedroom, so we slept like a log. The character of the property is charming and we would definitely recommend it. It is also very private, like a tardis behind closed doors and the host was quick to email if we had any queries, in fact a very witty, charming and funny man.
If you are thinking you want to be in the heart of the Pueblo, this fulfils the brief and we will definitely return as we booked a second week, whilst we were here because we liked it so much.Thank you Chris and Gerry!!

Tranquilidad y buena energia
He estado durante todo el mes de agosto en este apartamento del pueblo de Mojácar. El lugar donde se encuenta situado es perfecto y clave para disfrutar del pueblo porque todo está cerca y además su orientación es la mejor para el calor, apenas tuvimos que conectar los ventiladores por la noche, increíble! La casa tiene armonía, estilo, luz y buena energía. Y en la terraza te puedes quedar horas contemplando en absoluta calma el paisaje característico y mágico de Mojácar. Si necesitas cualquier cosa los caseros y su dueño Chris estarán súper atentos. Espero volver pronto!

Muy descuidado
El propietario nos devolvovio parte del alquiler y es de agradecer pero lla casa estaba vieja y con todo trastos familiares,sillas rotas y cucarachas.

We have said that we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay and returned over half the money paid, even though we were sceptical about the complaints. We maintained constant dialogue during your stay and are disappointed that you still feel you wish to post such a review. We ackowledge that you saw a couple of bugs, which we can not stop coiming in from outside in the hottest months, and that a chair on the terrace had been broken by a previous guest. It seems the main issue is that you were`expecting a modern apartment, but we make it clear that that is not what we offer. We checked the issues with the previous guests, who told us they were sufficiently happy to leave the cleaners a generous tip. The guests who stayed after that were also extremely happy and the most recent guests were so happy that they asked if we would sell them the house. Once agian, we apologize for your perceived experiience but stress that you are the only guests ever to have made a complaint.

Delightful, rustic apartment overlooking the beautiful mountains; the historic old town of Mojacar, and the sea.
From the moment I booked the holiday I found the owners Chris and Gerry to be very helpful and friendly. They kept in contact, offering advice where needed, and emailing all information required to help make the holiday stress free! They evan contacted us when we were there to check everything was fine. Claudio met us as arranged and showed us to the apartment, showing us around and handing over the keys. Two Butane gas heaters were left for our use as it was November. The apartment was bright, homely and well equipped, with more than I would expect to find in a rental apartment. There was also plenty of information on local walks and places of interest, which we found very useful.... especially the walks. Everything we needed to help make our holiday enjoyable. The view from the balcony was amazing. Gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains; historic old town; and the sea, which is approx. 2 kilometres away. We found the bed comfortable..it was lovely to wake to the sound of the birds singing! The town is quite hilly, as you would expect, and the little streets are cobbled. You can't drive through the town, which is nice; apartment is a short/medium walk uphill from car parking bays or car park. Local people seemed nice and helpful. The Pavana Bar is very friendly, short walk from apartment. Nice restaurants in town ..particularly liked El Palacio; run by an American...nice menu;cooked on the spot, by him. Very friendly and quick service. Has an addition of a log fire, giving the beautiful restaurant a very cosy and warm atmosphere. There is a boot sale in the town on Sundays and a Market on Wednesdays. Nice little individual shops and food stores. Plenty of bars/restaurants and apartments along the sea front, but the old town itself was very quiet; probably very different in the summer. Weather this time of year was lovely, approx. 23c; sea was still quite warm once you got going! Beaches were nice and quiet. This time of year VERY little traffic on the roads, which is great if you want to hire a car, but are a bit nervous!
A very easy, relaxed holiday. Sad to leave.
