Relaxing holiday
We stayed at Don Rodrigo for 2 weeks at the end of May and had a wonderful holiday. The reason for only giving 4 stars is simply because some of the small things could have been improved i.e. cups and plates were an assortment of items rather than sets (seemed strange when we first arrived but funny how you just got used to having your coffee in a Christmas mug). The showerhead in the family bathroom was held up by tape and a bit of a struggle to keep the showerhead at appropriate angle. These, as mentioned, were small things but would have made the villa perfect. The villa was spacious and a great size for our party of 6. The lounge/kitchen area was very comfortable with smart tv allowing access to various apps and channels. Bedrooms were very comfortable too with plenty of wardrobe space. The villa just felt like a home from home and provided such a relaxing break. We only had to contact Juan once and he responded very quickly and resolved our issue. The villa is about a 10/15 minute walk to a large supermarket and 15/20 minute walk into the main shopping area. Despite the small shortcomings we would definitely come back as this villa provided us with one of the most relaxing holidays we've had.

Villa heaven
Just arrived home after spending a week at villa Rodrigo. We just loved it! It was exactly what we had wanted. A quiet relaxing week, in a lovely neighborhood with all mod con facilities at our fingertips. We paid extra for heated pool - swim whenever you want, just a small perk of having your own pool on your hol. Wi-fi was fantastic and very much in need when you've 2 teenagers! No... I'm bored lol Smart television in the lounge with access to multiple channels. We used Netflix (signed in to our own account) but there's an android box that you can play about with. But there's a pool table, table tennis and we brought a pack of cards for Jack change it - so you can make this hol work for your family. I loved having washing machine, means you can pack less too and laundry drys so quickly here with the warm breeze. Everything you need is in this villa. We hired a car (autoreisen) which was cheaper than transfers from airport to villa but walking to main strip is very doable only about 10-15mins. We did this often and got taxi back, which is very reasonable too approx 3.50 euros. Big supermarket Mercados to right of villa, up a hill about 3 minutes drive (12 minutes walk but it's up hill) more a supermarket for locals which means cheaper for us and good variety. Meat selection is super for BBQ. Charcoal is 2 Euros a 5kg bag but you definitely need lighter fluid/blocks. Wine from 1.20 euros so worth the visit. Smaller Tourist supermarket hyperdino to left (keep left) about 2mins drive or 5-7mins walk. Good selection. Great for fresh breads. Few cafes around here which are ideal for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Loved our stay and we would happily return again, hopefully soon! Thank you to Juan Antonio - it was perfect

Superb
This was a return visit to one of Juan's Villas for us. One of the reasons we returned is its excellent location a 20 minute walk into Corralejo and only a low fare taxi trip to or from the villa. It is also a very quiet neighbourhood. Everything within and without as in the pool area etc is excellent. You can have the pool heated for a small charge whilst you also have a pool table and a full sized table tennis table to pass away the time also you have multi channel tv. The house is lovely with all you could need to make your stay memorable. Juan is never more than a phone call away.

Outstanding!!!
We had the most amazing time here! The villa was spotless, spacious and extremely comfortable. A home from home. The pool was heated for us and was perfect for my young boys to play in all day long. The villa is secure with an alarm and walled garden so no escaping little boys. More than enough towels for everyone and even more spares in each wardrobe too which we didn’t need. The beds are amazingly comfortable and don’t worry about lumpy pillows as the villas pillows are memory foam like the beds... Guaranteed a fabulous night sleep. I like be the pool covers too which meant my boys could come and go into the garden without me worrying. Free WiFi a massive hit due to having to still work now and then during our stay and a strong constant signal too. Having s smart tv with Netflix was heaven for me on a eve as well. Juan the owner was there to meet us and was at the end of the phone for us throughout our stay. A genuine nice guy who will go out of his way to ensure you have a great holiday ... and we so did! I can’t recommend this villa enough and we can’t wait to come back again soon. Many, many thanks for the best holiday Juan! Best wishes from the Watts Family 👍

Fantastic Villa
The Villa is fantastic,very comfortable , all you need, Juan is very helpful , we asked for heating swimming pool and it was superb.Nice barbecue as well. With the car you are 5 minutes from Corralejo , we had a fantastic week.We will coming back!!

Out of this world
We have just returned from this wonderful villa.(one of many the owner owns) What can I say but the owner is very helpful and pleasant. Before arriving he will send you an email with everything you need to know about the villa and when you arrive at the villa Juan has also left you a note just explaining again. If however you are not able to get something working he is very easily contacted and comes straight around. The villa has three bedrooms, one double with en suite that has a bath in which just happens to be a Jacuzzi one, two twin bedroom and a main bathroom with a walk in shower. You have a seating area outside the rooms which also hosts a full size pool table which is of no cost. There is a sun terrace which is great in the mornings while waiting for the sun to reach the pool area. The pool area has been revamped with astro turf which makes it easier when wet as you don't slip. There is another seating area and a huge bbq which is great for the lovely evenings. The swimming pool is great and we asked for the heating to be on(extra cost) which was lovely and there was enough room for inflatables and people. Juan came to clean it during our stay. The lounge had substantial seating and he TV comes in Spainish and even English but the problems can be temperamental. We found that we had to use leaflets for coasters as couldn't find any anywhere. The kitchen is lovely and has a dishwasher and another seating area. There is also a large fridge/freezer and an oven and hob. We hired a car and were able to go to the local supermarket for our weekly shop which is just down the road from the villa. There is a British shop too in the area but can be quite expensive. We had to get lilos, inflatable rings and a ball from there but there are some games etc at the villa. Corralego is about 15 mins from the villa where there are lots of restaurants, pubs and shops. The market came on a Tuesday while we were there and you can haggle with them. Overall this place is like paradise and we are definitely going back next October. It is great value for money.

This is a roomy villa with a good sized outside area for sunbathing by the pool. Pool heating is extra but that is normal. We found the villa straightaway after driving up from the airport. Collecting the hire car from Avis took an hour which was not so good. We drove into Corralejo rather than a 20 minute hot walk and also to the beach out of town. The beach is fantastic. The pool is small but lovely for a dip. We bought a lilo too :-) Juan was good enough to supply a few basic essentials for breakfast at cost and there is a big supermarket just up the road. All in all pretty perfect, thanks Juan.

Lovely property with everything we needed
Really enjoyed our stay at the villa. The pool and pool table were great. The solid pool cover meant we could confidently let our 2 year old play outside without having to worry about the pool. Beds were comfy and the window coverings were great at blacking out the sun. Juan was on hand and happy to help when we needed. The only down side is that the villa is a little out of the way and we didn't have a car. We tended to walk into town (30 min) and then get a taxi back which was very cheap. So not a major problem. And we were very close to the Aqua park which was a great day out. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday

Conocemos esta Villa desde hace 5 años. El verano de 2014, fue totalmente imposible la reserva porque se encontraban todas las Villas ocupadas para las fechas de las que disponíamos. El primer año reservamos una Villa similar (Villa Celia), justo frente a la Villa D. Rodrigo. La villa ofrece tranquilidad, privacidad, amueblada tanto en su interior como en el exterior conforme a las necesidades que pudieras tener en tu propia casa. Incluso, cuando te apetezca hacer una barbacoa, lo puedes hacer en la zona externa. La mesa de billar es uno de los entretenimientos para ese tiempo que te apetece hacer "otra cosa". Cercana al Centro de Corralejo , con un supermercado Mercadona, bastante cercano. Uno de los mayores atractivos de la Villa, es el tipo de piscina de la que dispone, que al tener una cubierta de policarbonato rodante, hace que el agua se mantenga limpia y caliente, incluso por la noche. Y si lo que te apetece es que te de el sol mientras te bañas, puedes plegar toda la cubierta para ello. Es de destacar también la amabilidad y servicios ofrecidos por su propietario: Juan Antonio, que está siempre pendiente de cualquier imprevisto. Muy recomendable si lo que buscas es descanso, relax, sol, piscina, etc. Volveremos a repetir siempre que la disponibilidad en fechas sea posible.

Corralejo has a small population of around 5000 inhabitants. It offers the best beaches in Europe with a large number of tourist places. You will find a wide variety of people from other countries attracted by the tranquility of our island, water sports and the vacations rental and hotel offers. I wouldnt be able to explain why but this island will make you relax and disconnect from the outside world. This is a small paradise!.The most characteristic places to visit are our beautiful beaches, volcanic landscapes, sleeping volcanoes, volcanic landscapes, mountain bike trails in motorbike in Quads, the practice of a large number of water sports, baku water park , botanical park, boat trips to Lazarote and Isla de los Lobos. You can also visit museums in nearby villages, golf course ;Mirador de los Lobos, and many other interesting places along the island.The most important festivals in Corralejo and the Canary Islands are our carnivals which are usually held in April.
