Chalet Halten is a really amazing place to stay. It is brilliantly equipped and feels incredibly homely as soon as you step through the door. It is brilliant situated for skiing if there is sufficient snow to ski in/out, otherwise it is easy to drive to one of the local ski lift paid car parks. Ski hire is just down the hill, and it is much cheaper to book on the internet than walk in. The property is really spacious and has some lovely touches like Nespresso coffee, an honesty drinks rack, brand new bathroom and a great selection of DVDs and games to play. Trudy, the owner, is fantastic in getting back to you, often within hours and always by the following day. The visitors guide she has prepared is really good. All in all, an excellent find and highly recommended.

Fabulous
Just spent a fabulous week in this chalet. It’s a home from home, with throws, cushions, candles etc. I imagine in the winter it’s cozy but in the summer it’s light, airy and the outside terrace is a real treat as it’s large with table, chairs, sunloungers, fire pit and bbq and it’s private. There are so many things to see and do in and around the area. The scenery is unbelievable (this was our first time in Switzerland).
The owner, Trudy, is fantastic - she emailed me lots of information and then posted some more leaflets on things to see and do. She is very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this chalet.

Brilliant Easter skiing break
A truly lovely holiday at Chalet Halten - four days of amazing skiing - the snow was great with fresh powder on two days, and the chalet is so convenient for the piste. It was very warm and comfortable in the chalet with everything we could wish for, not least emergency supplies as we arrived on good Friday when all the shops are shut! Would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful chalet for winter holidays
We stayed at Chalet Halten for New Year's Eve and it was a wonderful experience. The apartment is incredible and feels like home. The chalet is very cosy, clean and comfortable. The apartment is equipped with everything. We didn’t had trouble at all. Skiing is very close from this location, 15 minutes walking to the top and Gstaad is 20 minutes with the car. We would definitely come back and we recommend it 100%.

Un autentico chalet suizo
Decorado maravillosamente y muy cuidado. Tiene todas las comodidades incluido un garaje para el coche. Muy cómodo y bien equipado. Está a un paso de Gstadd, pero el propio pueblito es un encanto. Un lugar para desconectar pero muy cerca de interlaken. Preciosas carreteras. El apartamento tiene un pequeño jardín precioso. La cocina está perfectamente equipada y todo es muy fácil. Las habitaciones no son grandes pero están muy bien aprovechadas. La propietaria es absolutamente encantadora y lo hizo todo muy sencillo. Gracias Trudy!

Ski heaven in cosy chalet
A beautifully well equipped and stylishly furnished chalet on the side of the Rinderberg ski slope. Ski on and off the slope to the chalet (or a very short walk if the snow has melted) Ample storage space in the ski store for skis and boots to dry. The chalet is warm and cosy with beautiful mountain views. The mountain range accessible from zweisimmen offers amazing skiing, and we also travelled the short train ride to Lenk to ski there - more miles of piste than you can do in a day. For March the snow was excellent and the skies were blue. A choice of beautiful restaurants for lunch in the mountains, and deckchairs in the snow for a cool beer. A day touring the sights of Gruyere, Lake Geneva, and Geneva old town was such fun. The owners are an absolute pleasure and can't do enough to make your stay as good as it can be.

Perfect Holiday Place
We had a great stay at Chalet Halten, Zweisimmen. The house is fully equipped and well-maintained, and it is located very close to the Zweisimmen station. Landlord is very friendly, has provided very good details about the near place.

Great and lovely accommodation for a Summer holiday
My wife and I had an amazing time at Chalet Halten
I resist the use of the word "cozy" because it might convey a "small in size" mental image (which the chalet definitely isn't), but we felt so very at home and comfortable there.
We found the Chalet very clean and well kept, the facilities on offer are well maintained and of good quality: from kitchen appliances, to the bathroom, the BBQ in the veranda and the TV/AV system.
All exchanges with the Owners were clear, friendly and helpful.
Being able to comfortably host a couple of visiting friends for a night during our stay was also a bonus.
On the down side: having access to a large collection of DVD's in the chalet meant we didn't go out much in the evenings to explore the village ;)
To summarise, we had a fantastic time in Chalet Halten and we'll definitely come back.

Home from home in an excellent location
Just returned from a lovely stay in this beautifully equipped chalet. Everything you could possibly want there and all of a high quality. Owners extremely helpful with tips and advice before and during our stay. Supermarkets just down the road, lovely market in the town and tourist information. Loads of ski lifts all around the chalet. Would recommend visits to Bern, Thun, Spiez and Oberhofen.
