We had a six nights at the Hollidge House Pool Villa. We have stayed in many short stay apartments around the world and would rate Peters villa as one of if not the best we have experienced. The villa is a real credit to Peters knowledge of what travelers need in relation to this type of accommodation. Nothing is skimped on as far as quality fittings and accessories. The pool was an added bonus as we enjoyed some lovely Adelaide summer weather. Quiet neighborhood and close to a supermarket and specialist food store. Highly recommended if you are staying in Adelaide. Thank you Peter for your creativity and exceptional high standards.

Hollidge House was absolutely stunning and extremely comfortable. Peter's hosting capabilities are second to none. My partner and I had a fantastic stay and it was very convenient being close to the city and yet in such a quiet street. The house really felt like a home away from home. We cannot thank Peter enough for his wonderful hospitality and excellent communication. We will definitely be back - hopefully when it's a bit warmer so we can get more use out of that awesome pool!

If you are looking for luxury, privacy, quiet and comfort - Hollidge House ticks all the boxes. The 1800's bluestone apartment has been lovingly restored. No expense has been spared. The apartment is beautifully appointed and decorated, sensitive to the period features, yet with all the modern conveniences you could possibly require, including a coffee machine, a wine fridge and a selection of stemware for every wine imaginable. We especially enjoyed the deep blue plunge pool, the cabana and the neatly landscaped garden. Well situated near excellent restaurants, clubs, several supermarkets and public transport, Hollidge House is a haven in inner city Adelaide. Peter was a kind, generous and considerate host. A real find.

This accommodation originating from 1880 with sympathetic renovations was just perfect, close enough to City but quiet, with beautiful gardens and lighting around brilliant blue tiled pool. Property was very clean, spacious, with all mod cons. Due to cold windy weather we could not use the pool which did not seem to be heated as advertised on website. The property is within walking distance to a shopping complex and has parking on site with security lighting and locking systems. A safe in the closet would have been a handy addition but all in all, a lovely place to spend a weekend away. Peter, the host, is friendly and easy to chat with and responded to our queries in good time before our visit.

Our second trip and Peter continues to raise the bar as he expands the formal gardens. The attention to detail is inspirational for anyone wanting to renovate or just relax in beautiful surroundings.

Balled over by this little quaint property in Adelaide. The location of the property is tucked away in one of the suburbs of the city. Just far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle but close enough if you want to nip into town for dinner/sightseeing. The property is tastefully decorated giving a nod to its history. The pool is also just perfect for a dip to cool down from the Australian heat. The property is fully equipped with all your mod-cons - with an excellent organic supermarket just a block away, you could easily rustle up a healthy meal if one didn't fancy dining out. Pete (the host) was fantastic and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and with good comms prior to arrival, I felt instantly at home when I arrived. This little property is a little gem waiting to be discovered. I'd definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful place. The Apartment was immaculate, very private, great design & provided everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect walking distance to the city or very close walk to some fantastic restaurants & cafes. We enjoyed the first few days of our honeymoon relaxing & exploring the Adelaide Hills close by. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay & will definitely be back.

This accomodation is simply perfect, beautifully presented with no expense spared. Ideally located for our trip to the Adelaide Fringe, it was close to the city but also idea for the wineries if Adelaide Hills (Goldings is a must-visit). We loved the heated outdoor pool with sun sheltering and plenty of seating. The whole house is filled with character and plenty of modern twists, it oozes style and was so comfortable for our 4-day trip. Peter the host went out of his way to add helpful tips and hints for our trip; yet was never intrusive. This accomodation was better than expected and we could not have chosen any better. Thank you for making our stay so special!
