Beautiful Kona coffee farm with amazing view
We stayed 10 days in May at this great property. The deluxe villa was beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. Several spaces are provided to enjoy the amazing hilltop view of Kona town and the ocean beyond. We saw amazing sunsets and beautiful daytime and nighttime views. We were located in the famous Kona coffee region, but we’re within an easy drive of the airport and all Kona coast attractions. The house included a beautiful infinity pool, hot tub, and well-equipped gym. We enjoyed them all. Our hosts, Randy and Atsumi, were very unobtrusive but were always available to help when needed. They provided us with complimentary Kona View estate coffee when we checked in, as well as allowing us to watch fresh beans being roasted in their impressive roasting facility. The coffee was wonderful and we ordered some to be shipped home to us.
All in all, a relaxing, fun stay in a beautiful house. We would definitely try to stay there again if we return to Hawaii Island.

Amazing family stay with baby
My husband, mother-in-law, and 10-month-old baby stayed here for 2 weeks in early August, and we loved our experience! Randy and Atsumi have put a huge amount of work into nailing all the details on this rental, and it shows.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a bag of their freshly roasted coffee, as well as fresh bananas and pineapple. Randy was always available to answer questions and accommodate us, including setting up a Pack n' Play for the baby and giving us a tour of his coffee roaster. We loved the coffee so much that we ordered a years' subscription of it, to be delivered to us back in California every month!
In terms of the property, we loved the pool -- my husband used the Fastlane device everyday to get his exercise in. Randy and Atsumi supplied pool toys, towels, beach chairs, a boogie board and a bucket of beach toys that the baby appreciated. The kitchen was outfitted with top of the line coffee equipment, so we were able to enjoy fine coffee every morning before heading to the beach. Randy also installed a brand new Weber grill during our stay, which we took advantage of several times (we grilled fresh fish from the market). The house itself is quite large, with an expansive open living room and kitchen combo that overlooks the pool and coastline, as well as a large master bedroom with a massive bathroom, and a nice guest bedroom. We used the washer and drier several times, as well.
We found the place to be very baby-friendly. We brought our baby's walker with us, and she cruised around the entire house in it thanks to the hard tile floors. She also got a kick out of watching the geckos roam around the walls.
One of the best parts of our stay was the nature aspect. The property is up in the hills, so you get to be closer to nature. We got to fall asleep to the sounds of Hawaiian birds each night (which the baby loved!), and the views of the coastline and the stars from the deck were breathtaking. We spent one evening drinking cocktails and stargazing, right from the poolside. Geckos also roam the walls -- this is typical for Hawaii, and they're absolutely harmless and beautiful.
We can't find any fault with our stay and would certainly stay at Randy and Atsumi's place again.

Paradise with a view
My two teenage daughters and I stayed here with my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary and it was everything we were looking for. It’s very close to Kona but feels remote and super relaxing. The hosts are super lovely and quiet, and invited us to watch them roast coffee. Hope to be back!

We loved the property and the owner is next door, and very responsive yet unintrusive. I highly recommend this property.

Two weeks in paradise! A slice of heaven!!
We just returned from the 12 most glorious days at Randy and Atsumi’s gorgeous villa on their coffee farm. They were the most gracious and welcoming and helpful hosts anyone could ask for. They opened up their home early for us to accommodate an early flight of ours and even allowed us to stay a bit later on our last day due to a later flight home. They are truly wonderful people. The cleanliness of the property is 5 star and the accommodations were so comfortable! The villa is stocked with everything you will need and trust me, you will use it all: Tommy Bahama beach chairs & umbrella, snorkel fins (due to
Covid we rented our own masks in town), beach towels, boogie board, etc. There were extra sheets and towels and their LG laundry machine and dryer were very useful during our stay! The kitchen has everything you will need- utensils, dishes, pots and pans- they even had lovely placemats I used to set the patio table outside for a lunch we hosted with island friends of ours. The patio area is huge and has a grill and infinity pool to die for!! We spent 10/11 dinners there- swimming, star gazing, enjoying the geckos and egrets and the beautiful flora and fauna of the property. Oh and the SUNSETS!!! It’s simply magical up there! We also used the hot tub quite often and enjoyed gazing out to the ocean from below the patio area. There are four huge sun loungers and plenty of chairs and a table to seat up to 6 really comfortably. The beds were lovely- soft pillows, wonderful mattresses, lovely linens. The house cools down perfectly at night and through the morning, and the screen doors are perfect for leaving open to get those wonderful mountain breezes. The ceiling fans were all great as was the dehumidifier. The master bathroom was spacious and so very clean and inviting- the perfect way to end busy, sandy, sun filled days! Randy and Atsumi yes live connected by an outdoor archway, however we hardly ever knew they were there they were so quiet! But yet they would always be available right away of we needed anything or had a question (or just to chat about our adventures!). Randy & Atsumi gave my husband a great tour of the farm and lesson in coffee making and we bought many, pounds of the most delicious coffee we’ve ever tasted. There is fabulous internet connectivity and service, Netflix on the tv (although we only turned it on once as the nature up there was our entertainment for a change!), and speaker system. We truly cannot wait to go back!!

Gorgeous property, comfortable home
We are a family of five. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful views and pool, hot tub is also nice. Home is very comfortable and had everything we needed, including the nice touch of extra beach chairs and toys. Randy and Atsumi are wonderful hosts and answered all our questions. We also enjoyed the bonus of seeing their gorgeous beans roasted and learning more about Kona coffee, a real treat. We were allowed late checkout which was nice since our flight leaves late. They have many recommendations about things to do and restaurants which were helpful. Also we had two extended family members stay in the cottage, allowing us all to vacation together. Can't say enough about how well we all liked it here. Hopefully we will get an opportunity to come again. Thank you Randy and Atsumi!!!

A week in paradise
We had 6 people in our party. There was plenty of room for all of us between the house and cottage rental. The owners were very knowledgeable, and very helpful. The location of the property was perfect for our needs. We were within an hour to hour and half drive to anywhere we wanted to go, but it was also nice to stay in and chill with the pool and hot tub. The sunset views every night were amazing! We enjoyed our stay so much we didn't want to go home!

Comfortable stay, stunning view, coffee!
Our fourth (?—lost count!) stay at Randy and Atsumi's gorgeous place with a panoramic view of the Kona coast. It's clean throughout with a well-equipped kitchen and—bonus—coqui frogs to sing guests to sleep every night.

Perfect Big Island stay
We are a family of 5 and this was the perfect house for our vacation. Yes you aren't right in town, but you have a pool and a view that are amazing! The home has everything you need for your stay, it is clean and comfortable. Randy and Atsumi were wonderful hosts, very easy to contact and gave us plenty of privacy. We had coffee at our door the first morning, and fruit from their property too. This is a wonderful home to stay in.

Fun in the sun!
Property affords great views. Excellent way to have quiet, casual, slower-paced days where there's no pressure to do anything and, when interested, dip into the faster pace of the towns, beaches, resorts, etc. In many ways, the best of both worlds. Every meal preparation was easy-peasy with every pot, pan, utensil, etc. readily available. Quiet and peaceful. Tour of coffee production process was very nice, and the coffee is excellent! Terrific, nice, thoughtful owners.
