Apt is a nice alternative to a hotel, in a less dense area of lower Manhattan. Cleaned/sanitized before each visit. Space works nicely for a couple with a child (as it is very well equipped for them), or 2 single friends (not 3 singles).Apt consists of a living/dining area and 2 separate sleeping areas adjacent to living room. 1 queen bed in 1 sleeping area and in a 2nd smaller sleeping area is a bunk-bed unit with 2 single beds in it, (1 over the other). Both 2 sleeping areas are separated from each other by an 8' solid construction wall (ceilings are 12'8') and from living area by "sliding fabric room dividers", not doors. Kids playground nearby, This historic foot /family friendly neighborhood should be enjoyed by walking through its old cobblestone streets that are often used as backdrops for film productions set in NY. No Pets,Smoking or Parties! Activities: Near fabulous scenic river bike/pedestrian jogging path/ Hudson River Promenade with mini golf, tennis, beach volleyball, ping pong, basketball, trapeze school, roller blading and children's only playgrounds. Promenade goes uptown and down along the river, with fabulous views of NY. Foodies have much to celebrate here, as Tribeca is a lively, award winning 4 star dining area, with notable restaurants such as Nobu, The Harrison, Tribeca Grille, Bouley, Bread, Petrarca. Tribeca has a very visible film/fashion and arts industry with lots of local celeb spotting. Express/local subways nearby, 10 min. to midtown museums, Broadway theater, tourist attractions. Recent Guest Comments Below: Milan Dec 2021 Had a great experience staying at J's apartment for ~5 weeks. The place is very large for an apartment in New York, let alone in Tribeca. The place came professionally cleaned and stocked and looked exactly like it does in the pictures, which was a great relief. A housekeeper came midway through the trip and did a great job. The place is just a couple minutes walking distance from the 1, A/C/E, and N/Q/R/Q/6/J stations, which makes it extremely convenient to get anywhere in the city. It is located on a very quiet street and one floor up, so you won't have any disturbance at night. There are lots of restaurants close by, including all of Little Italy. Tribeca is a very safe area in general, many celebrities live in this area and you may catch a glimpse. I didn't have many needs, but when I did the host was quick to respond. Would 100% recommend staying here. Beth said June 17, 2019: The owners were very accommodating and checked up on our stay a couple of times throughout the week, making sure we are enjoying our vacation and that we have everything we need at the apartment. It was so nice to have a place to retreat to after hours of sight-seeing. We enjoyed hanging out in the living room, grabbing a snack and glass of wine from the fridge. We loved the fact that there were 2 sides to it, which gave our children their own side to sleep on where we wouldn't disturb them at night. The location is great, with lots of restaurants and family friendly activities within walking distance or a short cab ride away. Spacious & Comfortable
Chose this spacious apt for a long weekend with my family. We rent apartments often when we travel here or abroad & appreciate honest reviews. The apt was just as described. The furnishings were in good shape. Everything was clean & in working order with instructions on how to operate most everything, which I appreciate since I am a detail person. The apt was stocked with kitchen essentials & towels, sheets & blankets. So we didn't have to go out and buy paper towels, sugar etc. which is a big plus. The owner promptly replied to my inquiries. The owner was very nice to let us stay well beyond the 10am check-out. The apt was quiet with 2 windows facing the front and 2 in the back. Since we drove, we saved a lot of money by being able to park on the street from 6pm Friday until we left on Sunday. We liked having Gourmet Garage around the corner; a coffee shop called Baked; and we walked to the Freedom Tower & The Odeon for a delicious dinner. We would definitely consider renting here again.

great location - great holidays
Our stay in your apartment was perfect. I would recommend it without any hesitation. we're very glad we came here & not to any hotel as planned in the beginning. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The apartment was huge, comfortable & delivered in great conditions and very well equiped. perfect for families (2 seperated bedrooms). Metrolines, shops & restaurants just around the corner. There's a store nearby that's open 24hr. WiFi in the apartment was an added bonus. Logistics related to keys worked great. Definitely a place to recommend. Would definitely stay here again. The next time we come to New York, this will be our first option for accommodation. thanks, Jil!

Fantastic location and presentation
This loft apartment was perfect for us! Wonderful space, thoughtful and insiteful comments and directions provided by owners - how everything worked or was located in and around Tribeca. Very comfortable, clean and with the lovely touch of home with tea/coffee/spices/books/art all where they should be and plenty to get started with. Very spacious apartment with good quality finishes and comfortable beds etc. thanks for a great New York experience - it was very nice to come home to each night!

This NY designated historic district with old cobblestone streets is just a few blocks from both the galleries and shopping of SoHo and the 4 star restaurants in the heart of Tribeca. The downtown family friendly Tribeca location is ideal, in one of New York's hottest most desirable areas. Located on a quiet block in lower Manhattan/Tribeca. Walk to nearby Greenwich Village, Chelsea, Soho, Meatpacking district or Chinatown or wander over to the wonderful Hudson River Park, right along the river, where there are miles of uninterrupted biking and jogging paths w/o cars, that go all the way uptown,as well as several waterfront parks, including a children's only playground. There is tennis, basketball, volleyball and mini golf, splash pools for the kids, ping pong, bike rentals, batting cages and incredibly beautiful sunsets along the river. One block from express subway.10 minutes to Lincoln Center and all the great museums and Broadway theater. Great shopping nearby and many 4* award winning restaurants right nearby. Subway and bus is one block away, taxis on corner. Supermarket and wonderful gourmet and health food shopping within walking distance. The area is family friendly.
