Zweckdienliche nette Unterkunft in verschlafenem Kurort
Wir haben zu zweit eine Woche im Townhouse verbracht und uns wohl gefühlt: Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen, so dass man in unmittelbarer Nähe alles Notwendige (Supermarkt, Bushaltestelle, Restaurants)erreichen kann. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns, dass man das Trinkwasser immer direkt am Brunnen "zapfen" konnte! Lanjaron liegt sehr zentral zwischen dem Mittelmeer, Sierra Nevada und Granada, was wir sehr angenehm fanden! Hervorzuheben sind die äußerst netten und hilfsbereiten Vermieter, welche uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite standen. Gefehlt hat uns ein wenig eine Terrasse oder ein Balkon! Ansonsten ein gelungener, interessandter Aufenthalt mit viel Inspiration und neuen Impulsen. Herzlichen Dank an Sofia & Michael!

Inka and her friend were very nice. Sadly they had some problems with their rent a car, but some calls and burocracy sorted this out. I hope it did not ruin their holiday. Otherwise it was a pleasure to host them and they are welcome back when they wish! All the best to you both, Sofia

Very conveniently situated to walk into the pretty town of Lanjaron.
A well equipped property for a small family. An excellent base from which to explore the local area. Owner is friendly and helpful. Only downside was a problem parking, beware of parking on Fridays especially, this is market day and cars left parked in the way will include a steep fine.

Thanks for your visit Susan, it was a pleasure to host you. It was an unfortunate set of circumstances that led you to receiving a parking fine, your daughter did not arrive for the meet and greet so I could not brief her in person, I was not aware you were travelling by car as you arrived later and then you did not see my message on time or understand the road markings explaining that it is forbidden to park on the street on market day (Fridays). I will put a notice up for future guests, and hope it does not put you off visiting again in future. All the best and thanks for being lovely guests, Sofia

Centrally located apartment - well equipped
Comms were excellent from day one to checking out and the owner met us at a convenient and easy to find location in the town centre.
The apartment itself is very well equipped with a good kitchen/dining area overlooking a small courtyard and a spacious well equipped bathroom. It is quite a small place for 3 people but that is not a problem as visitors to Lanjaron have plenty of things to see and do and the central location makes this place ideal for a short stay. For people looking for an authentic feel when they visit the town then I would highly recommend this property.

This little house is a charming and cozy retreat.
Sofia's house is indeed picturesque as she claims. In a private courtyard bang in the centre of town (next to the town hall) and yet perfectly peaceful. Newly refurbished with all mod cons and everything in great working order, plenty of room, comfortable bed - what more could you ask. Double windows open out onto the courtyard and make for a great sitting space. It is close to the market with a good coffee shop down the hill for your morning croissant and a long row of tapas bars through to the end of the village - watch out for the one at the far end (past the turismo) on the bend in the road opposite to the entrance to the national park. If you can find it open it's the best in town and well worth the walk (try the patatas bravas). Lanjaron is a lovely spot in which to relax, walk the hills, eat the local honey (gorgeous) and recover from hectic Granada! And if you go there, this is a good place to hang your hat for a few days.Sofia was very charming and helpful with any questions. Glad to have found her and this sweet little house.

Lovely Traditional Spanish Town House
Proper Lanjaron house in a typical courtyard in Barrio Hondillo. About 10 minutes walk to the town centre which offers a range of bars and restaurants. Parking is a bit of a problem but it's only a few minutes walk to the bypass road where there's plenty of parking. The only downside is the lack of a lounge, but this wasn't a problem for us as we were out and about most of the time.
The town and surrounding area are beautiful with lovely villages and mountain walks in the Alpujarras as well as the Alhambra and old town Granada just a short drive up the motorway. The nearest coast is mostly quiet and relatively unspoilt, Salobrena being the nicest. While further along the coast towards Malaga is Nerja with it's astounding caves and lovely beaches.
The owner is very pleasant and helpful and made us very welcome.
