Perfectly placed villa
I had a long stay here from end September through to mid November and it was fab. The Villa is perfectly situated a few mins walk from the beach and all local amenities, restaurants, shops, supermarket, takeaways but also very private and quiet. The Villa is very well equipped, a real home from home. My holiday was right at the end of a very busy season and there were a few nightly problems which the owners were very quick to respond to and very helpful. The communal pool area is lovely and well maintained, a quiet space to sit as well as swim. It might not be as quiet in the height of the season though. I am a wheelchair user and would recommend the Villa for disabled guests. The downstairs bedroom has plenty of room by the bed for manoeuvring and the shutters, overhead fan/light and AC are all remote controlled. The wet room is beautiful but it’s worth noting there are no handrails next to the toilet or in the shower. This wasn’t a big deal for me but I know it might be for some. Also you will need to make arrangements for a shower chair if you need it. I drove so was able to take one with me but the owners can give details of a company where you can hire what you need. The kitchen isn’t what I would call accessible, I was on my own so I just arranged for essential items in top cupboards to be placed on the worktop. There’s a dishwasher so washing up wasn’t an issue, and to be honest I ate out most days. Javea itself is lovely and I pushed miles as it was so flat. Most of the shops and restaurants have wheelchair access and there’s a lovely flat walk to the port area which is beautiful and also a great place to eat. I would definitely go back. I had a great holiday, the owners were lovely and very helpful, would highly recommend.

Fantastic beach house
My family and I enjoyed a lovely week in Javea Sands. The house is just perfect- really clean and the decoration is so nice. The air conditioner in every room is a must. Also the pool is amazing- just perfect for kids and grown ups. The location is okay- you have to walk aroud 5 minutes to get to the beach and there are so many restaurants and pubs nearby. I would definitely recomend it.

Very nice welcoming, place!
I very much enjoyed my stay at the Casa Javea Sands! The Bathroom was expanded and very modern. The decorations around the house were pretty. The rooms were clean and the service was amazing. The owner was very understanding and nice. This is the perfect place to get to know the Spanish culture, as well as buy fresh fruits.

We will not be returning
We will not be returning as there was no grab rail in the wet room and for me, as I am elderly and disabled, this was an accident waiting to happen. I managed to shower with great difficulty each day so my stay in this accommodation was not a happy one. It would cost very little to have a grab rail installed but the owner didn't feel it necessary for her guest's safety and as she said " I didn't advertise it with a grab rail"

Prior to your check in we made contact with you to establish any medical equipment you might need us to hire, you was very clear that you required absolutely no medical equipment . We suggested that you look at the photos which show in details important areas of the house to make sure it was suitable for your needs. We did not hear from you until your checking day when you saw the were no hand rails. We referred back to photos and that there are not showing any hand rails. We did suggest several options for the bathroom to make more suitable for yourself however you declined this offer. Unfortunately you assumed there would be hand grab rails despite there being no sign of them on all the bathroom photos prior to your arrival, and you did not mention this in any communication prior to your arrival . As one of the owners of the property who is a full time wheelchair user we are very aware that everybody has different needs. For this reason we ask our guests to inform us, of any equipment they may require for their specific needs. I strongly recommend that when in the future you are booking a holiday somewhere you make a list of your important requirements and ask for confirmation before check in. We do hope you will have many happy holidays in the future.

Very well equipped rental offering clean and comfortable accommodation, perfectly situated in the Arenal area of Javea
Great two weeks here and although our stay was a mix of personal and pleasure we found the accommodation to be fabulous base that catered for all of our needs. Kitchen is beautiful, a good size with lots of equipment. Both bathrooms have walk in showers which suited us to the ground. You just know that Anna, Leah and Lee have their guest comfort at the forefront of their minds, definitely would return and recommend.

Fabulous accommodation and every bit as accessible as it promises..!
Casa Javea Sands is simply exceptional accommodation perfectly located for a stay in Javea. The house has everything you could need and is decorated and equipped to the highest standard meaning that it achieves a real balance between luxury and homeliness. The owners and agents were unfailingly helpful and clearly committed to providing their guests with a quality experience. The property is close to the beach, restaurants and shops but is also a little oasis set back a couple of streets as it is from the main part of the resort. A massive positive is that the house is marketed as accessible and it was a complete delight to find that it's just that. My anxiety has been increased over the years by booking accommodation that is billed as accessible but on arrival is anything but and so it was a pleasure to stay somewhere that proved no problem at all for my hubby to get around in. Would highly recommend the property - it's an absolute gem!

Perfect in every way!
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Javea Sands. It is a true home from home with everything we needed. The decor has been very tastefully done and all the equipment and furnishings were top standard. The outside terrace and enclosedsecure garden were ideal for our small dog. It is perfectly situated just five minutes from Arenal beach. All amenities, shops, bars, restaurants are all close by. We enjoyed exploring the local area..although a gentle twenty minute walk away..the port area and old town were very picturesque and well worth exploring. We visited Grandella cove, which has a winding hillside road down to it , but it is such a pretty secluded spot. Also Moraira and Calpe were lovely towns to explore. Lee and Anna ( the owners) were always on hand and checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was ok. Javea is a beautiful resort and we would recommend the resort and this lovely house very highly. Thankyou ladies...we had a fab time,even though the weather did not play ball this year...the beast from the east played havoc with the temperatures....but this did not detract from our enjoyment.

Fantastic accommodation in a great location
We had a fantastic stay over New Year. The location is perfect - a short walk to the Javea Arenal, where you can enjoy a beautiful beach, sophisticated bars and outstanding restaurants. The Arenal is lively yet never overcrowded, and is always spotless. The port is also within walking distance, along the seafront. The accommodation was the perfect size for the 6 of us, and very clean. The terrace is a lovely little sun trap, and the pool area is beautiful (although it was a little chilly for us to use it!). The bathrooms are large and modern. Anna and Lee were fantastic and were very responsive to our questions before and whilst at the accommodation. I'd definitely stay here again - a gorgeous place in a fantastic location.

Lovely week in a beautiful house, outstanding!
A truly outstanding place to stay with all the home comforts not usually experienced with holiday accommodation plus all I needed as a powered wheelchair user, Anna & Lee are both extremely helpful & informative both when booking & during our stay,& on arrival were excellent in making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay including a shower seat and having enough space to move around in my downstairs bedroom, being able to turn on lights & open shutters with the remote control was a bonus! As for the house it's self, it's located nicely a 5 min walk to Arenel beach and the promenade with lots of lovely restaurants and the beach has lots of water activities such a jet skis & boat hire, we enjoyed the paddleboarding! The small Road train is also a fun activity to take you to Jeava port, this is also fully accessible! Fantastic week all round, love Javea we'll definitely be back!

Amazing
We stayed here in August 2017 for a fortnight. One of the reasons for booking was due to one of our party having mobility issues. The downstairs bedroom / wet room was perfect and meant there was no need for him to access the stairs. The location was perfect and only took 5 minutes to walk to the arenal in the evenings to have dinner / visit the stalls. The house has everything you could need and the pool is fantastic and our two boys spent many happy days in there! Anna and Lee were great and regularly checked that we didn't need anything. Cannot fault this house and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.
