We enjoyed an excellent stay at the Alegre. Alfonso provided a first class welcome and introduction to the property and we found that everything was as good as we hoped and expected it would be. The villa is ideally located, with wonderful views of the sea, and is a short walk to the Arunal or in the other direction to the port and old town. It is very well equipped and certainly lived up to its previous high ratings and is somewhere we would love to return to.

Our stay in Vista Alegre was unforgettable. Beautiful villa, even better than the photos. We had 4 children with us ranging from 9 to 12 years old and they had so much fun in the pool and also with the games room where there is a pool table and table tennis. For us adults, there is a bar area to make drinks and lots of beautiful areas to sit and look out over the pool and sea. I could not recommend this amazing villa more and we will definitely be returning! Thank you Alfonso and family for making us feel so welcome!

We stayed as a large family group in May and everybody still raves about the villa. Alfonso and Juan are excellent hosts and so helpful. They really care about making your stay special and can’t do enough for you. The villa itself is beautiful and the location could not be better. We had an elderly relative with us and being in between the Port and Arenal meant she could walk to both no problem. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area and a couple of supermarkets too which is so handy. I would highly recommend a stay in Vista Alegre, especially as a large group. Spent a lovely week at this villa, which was perfect for three couples, meaning we could all have a bedroom on a separate floor. Ideally located for the Arenal and the Port so no need for a car.

It's difficult to find the best words to discribe our stay at Vista Alegre. I will settle for excellent. We needed for nothing and all we had to do is buy our own food. We will certainly be returning. My grandchildren cried when we had to come home as they had so much fun. Go there and enjoy.

We stayed at Vista Alegre for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year with family and friends. The owners were extremely efficient and helpful during booking and upon arrival they explained everything about the villa. During our stay they were keen to ensure we had everything we needed. The location is the best in Javea, midway between the Arenal and the port, a flat walk for any age, ideal for walking to restaurants and shops. The interior is extremely spacious and stylish, very good quality fittings,bathrooms and good quality linen and towels. The ground floor is a perfect entertaining area with bar, pool table,card table, table tennis. We enjoyed spending winter evenings in here with the added bonus of the pellet burner which keeps it warm and makes it feel cosy. On Christmas day we had a bbq and dined outdoors, there is lots of high quality outdoor furniture and different areas depending where the sun is at that time of year. This is a perfect villa for groups as you don't feel on top of one another given it's size. The bedroom on the second floor and completely separate bedroom on the ground floor ensure privacy if different age groups are sharing. None of the bedrooms feel inferior which is a positive factor when allocating rooms. I would highly recommend this villa whatever time of year as it's lovely and warm inside in winter (evenings are cold outside). The pool area is beautiful, it is too cold to swim in winter so pool heating would improve it for us but we appreciate it is an expensive addition unless it is let out more in winter. We loved our stay so much we have booked again as everyone agreed it was the best Christmas ever and we hope to stay during the summer months to experience the pool more. There is no better location. No road noise either as the bedrooms are at the rear, very peaceful at night. Thanks to the owners for sharing this wonderful property.

This is a truly luxurious villa in one of the best locations on the sea front between the Arenal and the Port. This was third visit to the villa, and once again it did not disappoint us in any respect. The owners have worked very hard in upgrading the villa over the past couple of years, and the accommodation provided is absolutely first class. The owners are also very attentive, both in the period leading up to our stay and whilst we were there. I would highly recommend this villa.

This is the second time we’ve rented Vista Alegre. In the meantime the owners had made several improvements. Such as new beds, a pool table and enough different lounge seats to chill on for the rest of your life. In the summertime you spend most of your time at the poolside so for us the best improvement was the new kitchen downstairs. I still think that Vista Alegre is the most beautiful villa in walking distance of Arenal beach. Juan, Alfonso and Roser are very friendly and helpful and do everything they can to give you a great holiday.

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay in this gorgeous villa. Everything exceeded our expectations and the location was fab. 10 minutes walk to the Arenal or 25 minutes to the Port. There are lots of beach bars along the way too! The road can be a little noisy at times but the view and location made up for it. It was exceedingly hot when we were there and the lovely pool and air conditioning in the bedrooms were a god send! Roser and her husband were extremely helpful and lovely. Thank you.
