Anguillara Sabazia is a beautiful little town on a gorgeous lake, and this apartment is quite attractive and recently renovated. The nearby restaurants are wonderful. However, the afternoon we arrived after a long flight and drive, we woke up from our nap quite cold. The heat and hot water had stopped working. It took until the next day to repair and for our trouble the owner gave us a bottle of wine. She offered the use of the shower in an unfinished apartment downstairs where she had a friend staying - which we could only use it until 9PM and had to access by by going outside and down steep stone steps in the cold. The internet and TV did not work properly until the last day of our 6 night stay. Two TV stations and agonizingly slow internet that did not always work.She blamed it on the wind. Parking was a real problem, which I tried to speak to her about. She pointed out there was no dedicated space promised and blamed it on a festival going on during our stay - but offered no solution except for parking at the grocery store (about 3/4 of a mile away). After that I stopped asking for help. The roof leaked during a rain storm, dripping water inches from one of our computers. The windows in the bedroom whistled quite loudly whenever it was windy - and since it was windy a lot it kept us up much of three of the six nights. Breakfast is NOT included, and the Nespresso maker water container hadn't been cleaned in so long there was slime in it. The electrical switch in the bathroom buzzed and vibrated when turned on - so we did not feel comfortable or safe using that switch or light. So while the pictures are accurate and the location lovely - you'd better hope there are no problems, because you will get precious little help, a lot of justification as to why it's not a problem, and no willingness to offer any sort of credit, except, perhaps, for a bottle of wine.

We had a wonderful experience staying in Stefania's apartment. It was comfortable and cool which was important given how hot it was outside. The place was very nicely decorated and immaculate. She and her husband, Sandro, were amazingly accommodating and kind and helped us with finding a parking spot which was greatly appreciated! I highly recommend staying here if you're spending any time in Anguillara Sabazia. You can't do better!

Abbiamo passato un weekend ospiti in quest'appartamento. L'arredamento rende il posto molto accogliente. Anguillara ha un borgo bellissimo, ideale per chi vuol passare un weekend romantico e rilassante. Stefania è genitilissima e molto ospitale, ci ha lasciato anche una mini guida dei posti da visitare nelle vicinanze. Ci torneremo senza dubbio!
