Absolutely perfect stay once again. Fearga and Graham are wonderful hosts. The Bothy is situated in an ideal location, just outside Haltwhistle. So peaceful, perfect place to relax and unwind. The Bothy itself is so snug and cosy. Impeccably clean and furnished to the highest and most thoughtful standard. This is a place we will return to again and again. We have stopped here a number of times and have loved every stay. In fact, each stay we have enjoyed more every time. The location is fantastic. Local to any social attractions and near to Hadrian’s wall and other outdoor walking locations. A perfect place for anyone looking to relax, enjoy some time away and get outdoors and enjoy the British countryside. Even if your wanting some time out, it’s perfect. Peaceful and amazing surroundings. The cottage is just outstanding. Warm, cosy and suitable for anyone and all families. It couldn’t be any cleaner. It’s like going home from home. The food provided is brilliant. We are provided with a fantastic choice based on any needs or dietary requirements and it’s always first class. We couldn’t ask for anything better. In conclusion, a place we will always want to come to no matter the time of year and the weather. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a short or longer break. The owners are the friendliest individuals we have met. They make you very welcome from the very get go and will go out there way for you in anything you may need. From where to go and eat to where to go and walk/enjoy the outdoors. We are very thankful to have met an amazing family like this and a place we love coming to. Value is out of this world and definitely a place you must visit.

We had such a lovely time at this beautiful retreat, The bovy was spotless and beautifully renovated and the owner Fearga couldn't do enough for us for the time we stayed with many options available for breakfast. It was very close to Hadrian's wall and the surrounding areas were beautiful to walk. The locals were very friendly and helpful for directions with shops only a 5 minute drive away. We really can't recommend this quite rural place enough if you want to escape the bustle of city or town life and experience seclusion and kindness of the countryside.

What an amazing 4 days we have had at this beautiful cottage, thank you Fearga and Graham for making us so welcome and for the gorgeous breakfasts, and the complimentary bottle of prosecco, nice touch, lovely people, we would certainly love to stay again sometime, and would highly recommend this B & B. A beautiful part of Northumberland, so peaceful and tranquil.

Just had two nights at the Bothy, delayed from March last year. Fearga and Graham are wonderful hosts, so kind nothing is too much trouble for them for them I felt like I had known them for years. The Bothy was immaculate and well equipped, it felt very COVID safe, just had everything I needed. So much choice for breakfast and lovely to eat outside with the stunning views. I had a visit from the friendly and inquisitive cows looking in through the window…gorgeous. Thank you Fearga and Graham for making my stay so lovely already thinking about when I can return.

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Bothy. A perfect setting with incredibly friendly and helpful hosts Fearga and Graham. The Bothy is immaculate and contains everything you could possibly need including a very comfy bed - we slept so well. Breakfasts in our room were delicious and nothing was too much trouble - I am a vegan and was catered for incredibly well! There is so much to do in the area to keep you busy - walking and visiting Hadrian's Wall. We loved our visits at the window from the cows, sheep and birds too. A perfect getaway and we will definitely be going back! Thanks both not only for making us so welcome but for all your kindness too and understanding with us having to re-book in these Covid times.

The Bothy is well situated for Hadrians Wall and many beautiful country walks but easy to find just off the A69. A cosy, immaculate and well appointed B and B following strict Covid Guidelines. We felt very safe and comfortable. Graham and Fearga are so kind and welcoming. The views are stunning and we enjoyed our continental breakfast whilst watching some tree creeper birds on the tree outside our window. So relaxing and peaceful. We didn’t want to leave!

Arrived yesterday afternoon. Greeted by Fearga & Graham. A very warm welcome by the hosts. Like friends who have not met for a while. Great views over the valley. Ideal for a countryside retreat either for a night or two. Enjoyed the continental breakfast selection ,which was pre ordered prior to arrival. Bed was comfortable had a good nights sleep. Every precaution was put in place for our safety due to current covid19 pandemic. Maybe a guest book so people can leave comments

Stayed here for 5 nights. The Bothy is ideally located for visting Hadrian's Wall and other Northumberland sights. Self-contained, with friendly hosts across the road and all Covid-19 precautions in place (but not obtrusive), it is very comfortable and feels safe.

Myself and my partner stayed at The Bothy for one night. It was faultless! The cottage was cleaned to the highest standard and Fearga (Graham was away) was so helpful and attentive. The breakfast provided the next morning was gorgeous ranging from fruit, fresh pastries, cereal and lovely bread. Endless amount of coffees and teas too which was lovely to enjoy outside whilst taking the views in. I would highly recommend booking a stay at The Bothy which is close by to Hadrian's Wall and the Sycamore Gap walk. :)
