Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, etwas schwer zu finden (der Verwalter/Besitzer Massi sendet INfos per e-mail, darin fehlt ein Foto von dem gelben Eingangstor mit Namensschild) : unser Navi wollte uns immer in einen Nachbarweg schicken...
Lage und Ausstattung sind top, mit großen Terrassen, Hängematte, Picknickplatz beim Pool und schöner Bepflanzung. Tierbesuche am Pool waren öfter Wasserhühnchen, ein Leguan und ein Basilisk, der auch gern im Pool abtauchte...
Man läft leicht zu Fuß zu Einkaufs- und Essmöglichkeiten im Ort - aber der Werbeslogan von TripAdvisor "walking distance from beaches" führt leicht zu Missverständnissen, da der Strand NUR über den kostenpflichtigen Eingang in den maritimen Naturpark erreichbar ist. Benachbarte frei betretbare Strände sind per Auto (oder Bus?) erreichbar.
Den Besitzer haben wir zwar nicht gesehen, er war aber immer sofort mit Hilfe zur Stelle bei Anfragen.

Great private little house in Bahia!
Such a great location, just outside Uvita in a little quiet village. Its private in every way. You can hear the waves and see and hear howler monkeys every day up in the trees. Crabs, exotic birds, etc. The pool was clean and great and the bedroom has AC but you won't need it in the winter.

Maravilloso lugar
La casa es sumamente acogedora, hay mucha privacidad, seguridad y desde la terraza se escucha el mar.
La piscina excelente y hay muy buenos utensilios, parrilla, un parlante para música (excelente), se puede decir que es un lugar para ir a pasarla bien, sea en pareja o familia.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!
Everything about Ocean Melody is perfect! Beautiful landscape, very private, close to the beach(we rented the bikes to get to the beach in just minutes) and an amazing little pool right outside the back bedroom and porch. Everything is clean and new. We spent our afternoons watching the howler monkeys travel through the trees as we waited on the beautiful night sky to appear. Watching the stars each night from our private pool was on of our favorite things to do. It was our own little paradise. The ticos are very friendly and the owner is extremely helpful! We love this casita and this community! They both stole our hearts! We will be back for sure!

Favorite Place to Stay
We absolutely love this little house. It’s a private Oasis. We highly recommend Ocean Melody. If you rent the bicycles, it’s an easy ride down to the National Park.

Friends Vacation
We loved the place, stayed for 4 nights. Great private pool and amazing garden. We loved the privacy and the close location to the park. Definitely a place to come back.

Little piece of Paradise
We stayed here from March 1-28, 2018. We absolutely loved our stay here. We used the pool everyday as it was over 30 degrees the entire time we were here. The beach is only a short walk away, and is just endless sand. We sat on the back deck everyday and watched the howler monkeys & iguanas in the trees. There was so much wildlife that we literally seen something new everyday. So many different kinds of birds, insects, lizards, butterflies etc. There is a market every Wednesday at the end of our road that had fruit, jewelry, souvenirs etc so worth going to. The yard is very private with thick foliage on all sides, exept at the very back of the lot you can view the hillside and neighbors field of horses. We would highly recommend staying here, but if it is booked check Ocean Melody #2 which is on the next lot over and is just as spectacular!! Massi was great to deal with, and very helpful. Pura Vida!!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt
Wir waren in der Ocean Melody 2, die gleich daneben ist. Etwa ähnlich ausgestattet, mit Schlafzimmer, Bad/Dusche, kleiner Küche und ein Sofa. Draußen hat man einen Tisch, Liegestühle, Liegen und einen kleinen privat Pool nur für einen alleine.
Ein kleines Häuschen mitten in Costa Rica für sich alleine.
Im Garten hatten wir Aras und sogar mal einen Besuch von Brüllaffen. War einfach klasse.
Man kann von dort aus in ca. 15 Minuten zum Uvita Beach laufen - so kann man alle Wertsachen zuhause lassen (Safe vorhanden).
Der Vermieter ist klasse - er ist sehr hilfsbereit und versorgt einen mit allen Infos rund ums Haus und um Uvita.
Schade, dass wir nur zwei Nächte dort waren - wir wären gerne länger geblieben!
Fahrräder kann man vom Vermieter ebenfalls anmieten.

I love this place
This was our second stay at Ocean Melody and We will return when we can. We loved the little house and the amazing outdoor living areas. The pool is perfect for a couple and adds romance and fun. The community is wonderful and true Costa Rican. We grew to adore the people and the area in general. Riding the bikes to the beach and around the community was great. The beach is very clean and peaceful. The whales tail at low tide is an added extra. The wildlife surrounding Ocean Melody makes you feel a part of nature. We love staying at Ocean Melody!!

Zen garden!
Excellent location within 5 minutes bike ride of the beaches, including the amazing whale's tail!
Ocean Melody 1 is a perfect sized cabin for two...and the pool was a welcome respite from the mid-day heat for us Canadians.
We hated to leave this place...so extended our stay by moving to the nearby Ocean Melody 2...Massi and Adriano were very helpful hosts...we'll definitely book again if we are ever back to Uvita.
