We stayed here for a few days in March and this place has everything! It's fully equipped, beautiful decoration, the beds are truly comfortable, air conditioning working perfectly. The pool is great too. The house is very private and safe. We totally recommend this place and we will definitely rent it again if we visit Uvita.

Alegria tropical has been an absolute amazing experience. Whether you’re here for two or ten days, on your honeymoon or family vacation, it is one of the most relaxing places in Uvita Costa Rica has to offer. Not only do you experience the comfort of a modern beautiful home with comfortable beds, air conditioner, kitchen, washer and dryer, but you have two in one, the pool in which to relax, and the beauty of nature near the beach! We spent 30 days at Alegria Tropical half with another couple and the last two weeks by ourselves. The layout of the house is perfect for either one or two couples. We loved the garden, pool and the wildlife. Even the gecos were entertaining. Uvita beach a very short walk away is often virtually deserted on morning walks. The location is very private but still very easy to acess the buisnes of Uvita and surrounding comunities. Lots of other beaches and things to do within short drives. Alegria tropical was an amazing home. Was everything I hoped for and more. The walk to the beach is a pleasant 3 minute walk to paradise. Massi and Sonia ensured the place was a beautiful retreat.

Emplacement parfait! 3-4 minutes de marche par un petit sentier pour atteindre la plage. On y rencontre des ara, des singes hurleurs et capucins et une tonnes d'animaux. La maison est magnifique, équipée, sécuritaire, confortable et belle. Tout est parfait. La piscine très utile en fin de journée ou en soirée. Tout est proche avec l'auto et quelques restos très près à pied. Nous y retournerons!

Our stay at Alegria Tropical suffered from only one ill: it was way too short. Alegria Tropical certainly lives up to its name: the setting is beautiful, and the amenities provided, from the refreshing pool (for a quick dip during the day or a languid soak with a good drink under an inebriating starry sky) to the pleasant decor of the airy bedrooms and broad common spaces, the house and grounds are perfectly arranged to maximize comfort, privacy, and enjoyment of the exquisite location. Enveloped in tropical forest, with all the amazing wildlife that constantly surprises you, and just a few minutes walk from an incredible surfing beach - all within walking distance of great jungle restaurants and markets - one would be hard pressed to do better than this jungle oasis. We heartily recommend it for an unforgettable experience.

Hola! First off, the photos do not do the house justice. This place is an Oasis. The property is large and completely private. We had a wonderful stay in Uvita. This house has the perfect getaway layout. I even took photos for the hopes that someday I can build a house with that layout. I loved having the lattice with screen all around the living areas and loved being to completely open up the surround windows and doors. My kids LOVED having their own swimming pool. Spent most of their time at the house in the pool. Hearing the Howler Monkeys in the mornings was awesome. We also had a wading bird that came to visit the pool each morning. Kids enjoyed finding the geckos that made it into the house overnight. Having the pre-paid phone was a lifesaver when our driver for a tour had not shown up on time. Thank you for that! We ate breakfast on the pool patio every morning and got to see all the hummingbirds and butterflies that can to check out the gardens. Having the laminated town map was helpful, especially when walking to the Supermercado in the pouring rain. The frog and fish guides were also helpful. Any questions we had during our stay were promptly answered. Thank you for a wonderful time in a Tropical Oasis!

Una casa con todas las facilidades para mi familia, exquisito y privado lugar para descansar y olvidarse de la cuidad. Junto al parque nacional, y con opciones de playas muy cercanas. Excelente atención del propietario, y las personas del pueblo 100% amables.

Loved my stay in this Alegria Tropicall Great location with Playa Uvita a few minutes walk away and plenty of wildlife which was fantastic ( an ecologists dream) The owner is extremely helpful and no attention to detail is spared. There's even a mobile phone with 5 dollars of credit. Loved the decor too! There are plenty of trips to book such as Corcovado and Isla del Cano. I would recommend Bahia Aventuras as they are very knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend this property to anyone

Algeria Tropical truly felt like a home away from home and we absolutely fell in love with this piece of paradise. We loved watching all of the wildlife from the garden, from macaws and toucans to hummingbirds and iguanas. It was great to come back and relax by the pool after a day at the beach or exploring a waterfall. We loved Playa Ventanas, the beautiful beach and stunning sea caves were amazing! Massi and Sonia were very helpful and provided lots of information about the area. We can't wait to come back!
